ZipperLane to be Deployed For Testing on Saturday Morning

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises Oahu motorists of ZipperMobile testing in the westbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway Airport Viaduct between the H-1 on-ramp from Nimitz Highway (near Sand Island Access Road) and the Hickam AFB/Naval Base Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) on Saturday morning, May 10, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

During these hours, the ZipperLane will be deployed for equipment testing, closing the leftmost westbound lane, but will not be open to traffic. The HDOT urges motorists to plan ahead and follow HDOT on social media for updates #WZAM, #HiSafeZone.
