H-1 Freeway Eastbound Ramp Closures, Kalihi Street Lane Closures Scheduled Sunday

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises Oahu motorists of H-1 Freeway eastbound ramp closures from Likelike Highway, Kalihi Street and Vineyard Boulevard this Sunday, June 8, for pavement resurfacing at the following locations and times:

 

  • Full closure of the H-1 Freeway eastbound Likelike Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 20A) from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Motorists wishing to access the northbound Likelike Highway are advised to take the Vineyard Boulevard Off-Ramp (Exit 20B), turn left to Palama Street, left onto School Street and back onto Likelike Highway.
  • Full closure of the northbound Kalihi Street lanes between North King Street and North School Street from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

o   The northbound Kalihi Street On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway eastbound will also be closed during these hours. Kalihi motorists wishing to access the H-1 Freeway eastbound are advised to take North King Street to the next available eastbound on-ramp from Liliha Street.

o   The southbound Kalihi Street lanes and the H-1 eastbound on-ramp from the southbound lanes will remain open. The H-1 westbound Likelike Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 20A) will remain open.

 

  • Right lane closure on the Vineyard Boulevard On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway eastbound, near Queen’s Medical Center, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for electrical work along the shoulder.

 

Motorists are advised to travel safely through work zones, adjust their commute times and expect delays #WZAM.
