HONOLULU – The state Department of Transportation (DOT) advises Oahu motorists of lane closures on Rodgers Boulevard in the westbound direction between Nimitz Highway and Aolele Street on Monday night, July 7, through Wednesday morning, July 9, from 4 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly, for pavement resurfacing.

Access to the airport from Rodgers Boulevard in the southbound direction to the arrivals level (ground level) of the airport will be closed during work hours. Travelers wishing to gain access to the arrivals level of the airport from Nimitz Highway may use Aolele Street, Paiea Street or Lagoon Drive. All directions to the departures level (second level) of the airport will remain open.

In addition, United States Postal Employees needing access to the employee parking lot and east dock, and taxi drivers needing access to the on-demand taxi staging lots will be re-routed from Nimitz Highway through the mauka end of the HECO Airport substation.

Plan ahead, expect delays and travel safely through the work zone area. Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to make improvements to our airport.
