UPDATE: The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) successfully completed its planned night work requiring a single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway across the Karsten Thot Bridge in Wahiawa. The overnight closures referenced in the news release below that were scheduled to continue until Mar. 11 are no longer necessary. Crews will continue to make progress on the Repair and Repaint Karsten Thot Bridge project during daytime construction hours that do not require lane closures. Should overnight lane closures be needed in the future we will be sure to notify the public in advance.

HDOT thanks the public for its patience as we make the necessary repairs to extend the longevity of the bridge. For more information, please visit the project website at www.rrkarstenthot.com or call the project hotline at (808) 518-4576.
