HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises Oahu residents that Runway 4R-22L will be temporarily shortened at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport through mid-December for a construction project.

There will be an increase in air traffic over the Ewa plains area to accommodate landings on Runways 8L-26R and 8R-26L until the end of construction. Work is weather permitting.

HDOT appreciates the community’s cooperation while we work to provide the public with facilities that meet safety standards.
