H-201 Moanalua Freeway Lane Modifications Scheduled Next Week

HONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation (DOT) advises Oahu motorists of changes to traffic patterns as part of the H-201 Moanalua Freeway lane modifications in the westbound direction between the Stadium/Halawa/Camp Smith Off-Ramp (Exit 1E) and the H-201 and H-1 Split.

Two left lanes will be closed on Sunday night, December 9, through Wednesday morning, December 12 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly.

Two Right lanes will be closed on Wednesday night, December 12, through Friday morning, December 14, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly.

Two Right lanes will be closed on Friday night, December 14, through Sunday morning, December 16, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly.

When the project is completed, drivers will notice a fourth lane in the westbound (Ewa-bound) direction which will allow two lanes to branch off to the H-1 Westbound and two lanes to continue on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and allow for extra travel time during these hours. Road work is weather permitting.
