HANA – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises motorists that Hana Highway (Route 360) will be closed in both directions in the vicinity of Mile Marker 13, on Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 through Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for slope stabilization work. Crews will be excavating loose material and will improve stabilization of the slope on the makai side of the roadway.

Electronic message boards have been posted throughout the area to inform motorists of the closure. Emergency vehicles and first responders will be allowed through the work zone during closure hours.
