Kaneohe-bound Likelike Highway closed for routine tunnel maintenance on Saturday night, Oct. 21
Posted on Oct 18, 2017 in Highways Posts, Main, NewsHONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) notifies Oahu motorists that Likelike Highway will be closed in the Kaneohe-bound direction between Valley View Drive and the Wilson Tunnel from 7 p.m. on Saturday night, Oct. 21, 2017 through 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, Oct. 22, 2017 for routine tunnel maintenance and cleaning.
Electronic message boards will be displayed to inform motorists of the closure. Emergency vehicles and TheBus have been notified and will be allowed through the work zone.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes such as the H-3 Freeway or Pali Highway. Lane closure notices will be posted to our social media websites, Facebook and Twitter, and to the HDOT website at https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/roadwork/weekend/ Roadwork is weather permitting.
