Statewide Storm Water Management Program (SSWMP)
The State of Hawaii Department of Transportation, Highways Division, Oahu District (DOT-HWYS) continues to implement its proactive comprehensive Storm Water Management Program (SWMP). This initiative is being taken to comply with our National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit for the Oahu municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4).

Hawaii Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP)
The Hawaii SHSP is a five-year plan to address the most pressing issues relating to traffic safety in our Aloha State. It is the result of multidisciplinary collaboration between many partners within federal, state, county and community organizations.
