2011-2014 (+2) STIP Revision #3
The State Department of Transportation is providing an opportunity for the public to submit comments on the proposed STIP Revision #3 to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 to 2014 (+2) Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The STIP document identifies projects that are to be programmed for federal Highway or Transit funding.
This revision will break apart the statewide line item S14 – Statewide Bridge and Pavement Improvement Program into five (5) new separate island-wide projects numbered OS87, HS42, MS36, MC41 and KS25. New projects have also been added to this program, with some indicated as a backup projects. Backup projects shaded grey will not be included when financially constraining the STIP. Backup projects will be obligated this federal fiscal year (ending September 30, 2011) should other projects get delayed and/or federal funds become available.
This revision will also address other minor changes to FHWA funded projects which include deletions of previously obligated funds and changes in project limits and scope.
There are no changes to the FTA program in STIP Revision #3.
New project information, a summarized list of explanations of the changes reflected in this revision and project location maps can be found in the following file. This file sorts projects first by project type, then by STIP project number. Changes are noted in red text.
Changes to the Oahu portion of the STIP are concurrently being processed as Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) revisions by the Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization (Oahu MPO). Please see more information on the TIP process and TIP Revisions at the Oahu MPO website at:
