Yes, if you are required to use an ignition interlock device by Chapter 291E of the Hawaii Revised Statutes you must continue to follow the requirements of the ignition interlock program during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
Who can I call if my shop is not open during the Statewide stay-at-home/work-from-home order?
Smart Start Inc. will remain open to continue servicing ignition interlock clients. There is a 24/7 call center (1-800-880-3394) for inquires not addressed in this FAQ.
