New cargo wharfage and passenger fee tariff rates will take effect on Monday, July 1, 2013 as provided by Chapter 19-44, Hawaii Administrative Rules, entitled “Rules Relating to Services and Procedures, Charges, Tolls and Fees”. Revised self-reporting forms reflecting the new rates are available on the DOT Harbors website, https://hidot.hawaii.gov/harbors/doing-business. These new tariff rates are critical to the commercial harbors system’s ability to meet revenue requirements, sustain existing services, undertake and continue the modernization of facilities and maintain Hawaii’s lifeline to the world.
