Beginning Monday, March 5, 2012 all individuals renewing or applying for a new Hawaii driver's license or learner's permit will be required to show proof of legal presence in the United States. Documentation is required to establish, (1) legal name, (2) date of birth, (3) social security number, and (4) legal presence.
