HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) maintains a list of certified driving schools available at https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/safe-communites/driver-education/. The list will be updated monthly to reflect schools that meet the requirements of Hawaii Administrative Rules 19-139.
As a reminder, beginning Aug. 1, 2020, in-person classroom instruction will be allowed upon submission of social distancing guidelines to HDOT. Instructional permits that expired between March 16, 2020, and June 30, 2020, are considered valid until September 30, 2020.
