Employees are encouraged to discuss problems of alleged discrimination with their supervisors and/or their respective personnel offices.

Representatives of management shall hear the complainant and attempt to resolve the problem.

As appropriate, the divisional or staff manager shall advise the complaint of the options available for obtaining redress including information on time limits for filing a formal complaint.

The divisional or staff manager shall provide a response within thirty (30) days to insure that the complainant’s right to file a formal complaint is protected.

If the problem cannot be resolved through this process, it shall be documented on an approved form and filed with the OCR.
