HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) Harbors Division with the assistance of Harbor Police, Honolulu Fire Department and Honolulu Police Department worked to extinguish a fully engulfed vehicle fire at Honolulu Harbor Pier 5 this morning.

The incident is currently under investigation and the cause is yet to be determined. The driver was arrested and taken into custody by Honolulu Police Department officers. No other injuries were reported.

Harbor operations were not impacted by the incident.
