HONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists that Kalanianaole Highway will be closed in both directions from Lunalilo Home Road to Kealahou Street on Monday night, August 12, through Friday morning, August 16, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for guardrail repairs.  Motorists are advised to use Lunalilo Home Road, Hawaii Kai Drive and Kealahou Street as a detour route around the closure area and to allow for extra travel time.

Traffic will be detoured to Lunalilo Home Road, Hawaii Kai Drive and Kealahou Street, around the closure area, marked in green.  Crews will be replacing guardrails in the closure area marked in red.
