H-1 Freeway Westbound Nighttime Lane & Ramp Closures From Punahou Street To Pali Highway
Posted on Aug 13, 2013 in Highways News, NewsHONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists of multiple H-1 Freeway lane and ramp closures in the westbound direction nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for pavement resurfacing at the following locations and times:
Monday night, August 19, through Tuesday morning, August 20
Two rightmost lanes will be closed from the Punahou Street Overpass to the Lunalilo Street On-Ramp. The two left lanes will remain open for use. During these nights, the Punahou Street On-Ramp and the Lunalilo Street Off-Ramp (Exit 23) will be closed.
- Motorists wishing to access the H-1 Freeway westbound are advised to use the next available H-1 on-ramp at Lunalilo Street.
- H-1 motorists wishing to use the Lunalilo Street Off-Ramp are advised to use the previous Wilder Avenue Off-Ramp (Exit 24A).
Tuesday night, August 20, through Friday morning, August 23, and Monday night, August 26, through Tuesday morning, August 27
Two rightmost lanes will be closed from the Lunalilo Street On-Ramp to the Pali Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 21B). The two left lanes will remain open for use. During these nights, the Lunalilo Street On-Ramp and the Vineyard Boulevard Off-Ramp (Exit 22) will be closed.
- Motorists wishing to access the H-1 Freeway westbound are advised to use the next available H-1 on-ramp at North School Street.
- H-1 motorists wishing to use the Vineyard Boulevard Off-Ramp are advised to use the previous Lunalilo Street Off-Ramp (Exit 23).
Motorists are advised to allow for extra travel time or to avoid the H-1 westbound lanes in these areas during these hours.
