HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises Oahu motorists that nighttime lane closures on the H-1 Freeway westbound through the Pearl City Viaduct, between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) will resume Monday night, June 9 at 7:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, and last through Friday morning, June 13. Two right lanes will be closed during these hours. There will be no nighttime lane closures on Tuesday night, June 10, in observance of the Kamehameha Day holiday. Lane closures will resume Wednesday night, June 11.

In addition, as previously announced, westbound road work will continue in this area on Saturday night, June 7, from 11 p.m. to Sunday, June 12, at noon. Two left lanes will be closed during these hours for pavement resurfacing.

Nighttime closures are expected to continue throughout the month of June. Motorists are advised to travel safely through work zones, use alternate routes, adjust their commute times and expect delays #WZAM.
