H-1 Freeway Sunday Lane Closures Westbound from Aiea to Waipahu
Posted on Jun 27, 2014 in Highways News, Main, NewsHONOLULU – The state Department of Transportation (DOT) advises Oahu motorists of three right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Kaamilo Street Overpass and the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10), and two right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Sunday, June 29, from 4:30 a.m. to noon, for lighting relocation and viaduct improvements.
Improvements include highway deck repairs and road widening from Waimalu to Waikele. An extra lane will be added from the Waimalu Off-Ramp to the Waipahu Off-Ramp and from the H-1/H-2 Split to the Waikele Off-Ramp.
