Lagoon Drive Access Restrictions Scheduled This Weekend
Posted on Sep 26, 2014 in Airports News, NewsHONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists that access to Lagoon Drive, adjacent to the Honolulu International Airport, will be restricted south of Aolele Street to area business tenants, their employees and customers on official business from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28, during the Wings Over The Pacific air show.
Sheriff’s Deputies will be operating a security checkpoint and patrolling on Aolele Street to ensure that only authorized persons and materials are allowed access to Lagoon Drive. Consumption of alcoholic beverages, use of fireworks and open flames are not permitted on airport property.
