HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises motorists that the current hiatus of the H1 Freeway traffic coning of the Lunalilio Street On-Ramp heading westbound during morning rush-hour traffic will be extended for an additional two weeks through Friday, October 17, 2014.

Westbound vehicles will be allowed to enter the freeway from the Lunalilo Street Onramp, Monday through Friday, during the morning rush-hours for this period.  Message boards alerting drivers to the temporary change are placed at the intersection of Lunalilo Street and Pensacola and on the H1 Freeway prior to the Lunalilo Street Onramp.  HDOT will continue to monitor traffic flow through the area.
