H-1 Freeway Westbound Lane Closures Through Pearl City Postponed This Weekend

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises Oahu motorists that this weekend’s lane closures on the H-1 Freeway westbound between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B), previously scheduled for 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, through 4:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, will be postponed.

Weekend roadwork will resume at 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, through 4:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12. At that time, three right lanes will be closed starting at 11 p.m. on Saturday night through 6 a.m. Sunday morning for the concrete pour. The lane closure will then be reduced to two right lanes from 6 a.m. on Sunday through 4:30 a.m. on Monday during the concrete curing process.
