HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises Oahu motorists of a full closure of the H-201 Moanalua Freeway eastbound Airport/Tripler Hospital Off-Ramp (Exit 3) on Tuesday night, Feb. 17, to Wednesday morning, Feb. 18, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for lane striping and marker installations.

As an alternate route, eastbound H-1 motorists wishing to access Puuloa Road are advised to take the Red Hill/Moanalua Valley Off-Ramp (Exit 2), continue straight on Moanalua Frontage Road, make a right onto Ala Napunani Street, and then make a left at Salt Lake Boulevard. Motorists may then turn left onto Puuloa Road to access the Tripler Army Medical Center or right for the Puuloa Road/Mapunapuna area. All emergency vehicles and City buses will be permitted to use the ramp.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and drive safely around the work zone area. Roadwork is weather permitting.
