[Update @ 4 AM] ZipperLane Deployment Complete, Normal Operations For Morning Commute
Posted on Apr 2, 2015 in Highways News, Main, NewsHONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises Oahu motorists that the H-1 ZipperLane has been successfully deployed as part of overnight testing of the recently repaired ZipMobile. The ZipperLane is open for the morning rush-hour commute through 8:30 a.m. in the eastbound direction only. Vehicles using the ZipperLane will require two or more passengers as normal.
The repaired ZipMobile began deployment of the H-1 ZipperLane barriers early overnight to fully test the restored systems under operational conditions. HDOT sincerely thanks Oahu’s motorists for their patience and kokua.
