HDOT offers match-making workshop for small businesses

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation’s (HDOT) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) has teamed up with the Small Business Administration and Minority Business Development Center Honolulu to host a two-day workshop for small business owners to meet with contractors, government agencies, and banks to build relationships for professional opportunities or access capital.

The workshop will be held at the following time and location:

CANCELED(Day 1) Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
(Day 2) Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport Conference Center
(Top of Interisland Terminal Parking Structure)

On (Day 1) Thursday, September 28, 2017, there will be presentations by local business bankers explaining capital strategies and the loan application process. On (Day 2) October 26, 2017, there will be a Business Match-Making workshop that will allow small business owners to network with prime contractors, government agency officials, and bankers to learn about contracting opportunities.
