The lane closures are needed to allow HDOT crews safe access to the Airport Viaduct structure for routine inspection. HDOT thanks the travelling public for their patience as we work to maintain our State’s critical transportation infrastructure.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution, allow for extra travel time, and check traffic apps like GoAkamai.org for up to the minute traffic conditions and live cameras, before heading to their destinations. Roadwork is weather permitting.

Roadwork updates are posted weekly on the HDOT website at: https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/roadwork/ and released through our social media channels on Facebook and Twitter.
