Full night closure of H-2 Freeway along Wilikina Drive, From Wahiawa offramp to Lakeview Circle

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) informs the public of a full closure in the northbound direction of the H-2 Freeway into Wilikina Drive beginning Monday, Nov. 28 for resurfacing.

This nightly closure, starting at the Wahiawa offramp to the vicinity of Lakeview Circle, will be from 9 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. Work is expected to last through Friday morning, Dec. 16. Access to residences and businesses will be allowed within the work area on Wilikina Drive. All other traffic, including first responders and TheBus will be detoured onto Kamehameha Highway. The Wahiawa offramp will remain open during work hours.

The purpose of this full closure is to allow for the completion of roadway resurfacing in this area in a safe and efficient manner.
