PLEASE NOTE:
There will be no contraflow operations, or lane closures on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day, unless otherwise permitted.

— H-1 FREEWAY —
1) KAPOLEI TO KUNIA
Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between the Kalaeloa Interchange and the Kunia Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Wednesday, July 1 for various maintenance activities to address complaints.
2) KAPOLEI TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Makakilo interchange and the Waipahu/Ewa Beach Interchange, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Sunday, June 28 through Thursday, July 2 for demolition and installation of new precast panels. This closure may be of the left, or right lanes, one side to be closed at a time. The left lane of the Makakilo off-ramp (Exit 2) will also be closed during work in the left lanes.
3) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two lanes closed on the left-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Sunday, June 28 through Wednesday, July 1 for sawcutting, demolition and installation of precast concrete panels.
4) AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Kaamilo Street overpass for refreshing of temporary striping for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. Work hours vary by day of the week and are scheduled as follows:
- 7 p.m. Friday, June 19 to 6 a.m., Saturday, June 27
- 7 p.m. Saturday, June 27 to 8 a.m., Sunday, June 28
Note: This eastbound closure will only be implemented if there is rain and the westbound closure (entry #7) Work will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side to be closed at a time.
5) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK)
Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Kaamilo Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, June 30 through Wednesday, July 1 for refreshing of temporary striping for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.
Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side to be closed at a time. The eastbound H-1 Freeway on-ramp from Moanalua Road/Waimalu will be closed during this work.
6) PEARL CITY
Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B) from the westbound H-1 Freeway, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, for slope improvements.
7) AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kaahumanu Street overpass and the Kaamilo Street overpass for refreshing of temporary striping for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. Work hours vary by day of the week and are scheduled as follows:
- 7 p.m. Friday, June 26 to 6 a.m., Saturday, June 27
- 7 p.m. Saturday, June 27 to 8 a.m., Sunday, June 28

8) AIEA (NIGHT WORK)
Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kaahumau Street Overpass and the Kaamilo Street Overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Monday, June 29 for work on the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.
Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. One side to be closed at a time.
9) SALT LAKE TO STADIUM (WEEKEND/ NIGHT WORK)
Closure of three lanes building to four on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kaimakani Street overpass and the Nimitz Highway/Airport off-ramp (Exit 15), continuously closed from 7 p.m. on Friday, June 26 through 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 28 for paving and guardrail work as part of the H-1 Salt Lake Rehabilitation project. The fourth lane will be closed during the following hours:
- 7 p.m. Friday, June 26 to 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 27
- 7 p.m. Saturday, June 27 to 7 a.m. on Sunday, June 28
10) STADIUM TO AIRPORT VIADUCT (WEEKEND WORK)
Three lanes closed on the left-hand side of westbound H-1 Freeway/Airport Viaduct, between Kahuapaani Street and Valkenburgh Street, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 for striping work as part of the H-1 Salt Lake Rehabilitation project.
11) AIRPORT VIADUCT TO KAHALA
Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between Puuloa Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 to address pothole, litter, and sign requests.
12) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE)

Two lanes closed on the right-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the King Street off-ramp (Exit 25A) and the 6th Avenue overpass, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the evening of Thursday, July 2 for HECO pole replacements along the ramps. The 5th Avenue on-ramp to the westbound H-1 Freeway will be closed during this work. The Kapiolani Boulevard off-ramp (Exit 25B) from the westbound H-1 Freeway will be closed during this work.

Full closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway off-ramp to the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, in the vicinity of the Honolulu/ King Steet off-ramp, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Monday, June 29 through Wednesday, July 1 as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. Single lane closure on the right-hand side of the Kaneohe-bound H-3 Freeway, between the Harano Tunnels and the Hospital Rock Tunnels, from 2 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 27 for repairing of steel plate welds.
— PALI HIGHWAY/ KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY/ KAILUA ROAD (ROUTE 61) —
1) NUUANU
Two lanes closed on Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between School Street and Waokanaka Street, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 2 for maintenance of crosswalk gateways and delineators. This closure may be of the left or right lanes. One side/direction to be closed at a time.
2) UPPER NUUANU
Alternating single lane closure on Kailua-bound Pali Highway (Route 61) between the Pali Lookout and the Pali Highway Hairpin Turn, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 29 for bridge inspection and utility maintenance throughout the work area. Closure will begin on the right lanes and shift to the left.
3) NUUANU TO KAILUA
Single lane closure on Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between the Pali Tunnels and Castle Junction, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 for pavement marking work. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one direction/side to be closed at a time.
4) NUUANU TO KAILUA
Single lane closure on the left-hand side of Kalanianaole Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between the Pali Tunnels and Castle Junction, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 for grass and tree trimming.
5) KAILUA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Alternating single lane closure on Kailua-bound Pali Highway (Route 61) between the Pali Highway Tunnels and the Emergency Truck Ramp, from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 27 for debris clean-up. Closure will begin in the left lane, and switch to the right shoulder as work progresses.
6) KAILUA
Single lane closure on the left-hand side Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61), possible in either direction, between Ulumanu Drive and Uluhala Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 for traffic signals project. Potential closures of a single lane in both directions (for a total of two lanes) may be necessary. New signals are activated. Single lane closure on eastbound Likelike Highway (Route 63) approximately 750 feet after the Burmeister Overpass, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3 for storm drain cleaning and CCTV inspections. Full closure of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) in both directions, between Iliohu Place and Waimea Valley Road, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 for helicopter operations to install rockfall netting. Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kahuku-bound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Pukea Road and Comsat Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 for Spectrum utility work.
6) KAHANA TO KAAAWA
Alternating single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between Kahana Bay and Keo Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 for installation of signs for future speed table.
7) KUALOA
Alternating single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between Kualoa Ranch’s main entrance and the Kualoa Regional Park main entrance, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 for installation of signs for future speed table.

Two lanes closed on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) possible in either direction, between Sand Island Access Road and Kalihi Street, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Saturday, June 27 for overhead street name sign work.
2) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE)
Closures on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Awa Street and Richards Street on Sunday, June 28, through Friday, July 3, over a 24-hour period, for HART work includes:
- 24/7 CLOSURE: Awa Street closed 24/7 from Nimitz Highway (Route 92), in either direction through November 2026.
- 24/7 CLOSURE: Inside lanes in either direction on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) for installation of K-Rails, through 2030.
- Single lane closure on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) one in either direction, between Awa Street and Richards Street from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2, for support of drilling, traffic signal work, and civil restoration, in addition to the 24-hour lane closures. Eastbound lane will close at 8:30 a.m.
- Left turn restrictions and lane shift from Nimitz Highway (Route 92) onto Halekauwila Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 to accommodate pothole filling.

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of westbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) between the Waiawa Stream and Pearl Highlands Center, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1 for demobilization of barriers along the highway.
2) AIEA
Single lane closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) between Puu Kala Street and Puu Poni Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1 and Thursday, July 2 for painting of the Pearl City Plaza building.
3) PEARL HARBOR
Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction between Kohomua Street and Center Drive, on Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 3 for HART civil work. Closure times vary by direction and are scheduled as follows:
- Eastbound closures: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Westbound closures: 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

4) KALIHI (24/7 CLOSURE)
The following closures are 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for The Rail.
- H-1 eastbound off-ramp to Dillingham Blvd. reduced to one lane.
- Middle Street southbound left turn reduced to single turn lane.
- Dillingham Boulevard eastbound between Middle Street and Marukai will have a single lane closed.
- Dillingham Boulevard westbound between GasPro and Middle Street will have a single lane closed.

1) KUNIA (24/7 CLOSURE)
Full closure of the northbound lane on Kunia Road (Route 750) in the vicinity of the National Security Agency Facility, between Kunia Drive and Wright Avenue, 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for slope stabilization due to previous storm damage. Motorists in each direction will be contraflowed through the open southbound lane. This closure is anticipated to be on the roadway through Saturday, June 27.
