HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) notifies Oahu motorists that three makai (southwest) bound lanes will be closed on Liliha Street between Vineyard Boulevard and North King Street on Monday, Nov. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for paving and striping work for the Liliha Street Rehabilitation project.

There will be one lane of traffic available in each direction through contraflow during closure hours and turns will be allowed onto and from Kukui Street. Electronic message boards will be displayed throughout the area to notify motorists of the closure. Special Duty Police Officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control and safety procedures.

HDOT thanks the public for its cooperation as we continue to maintain safe state facilities for motorists and pedestrians. Motorists are advised to follow all traffic control and allow for extra travel time to get to their destinations.
