Single right lane and ramp closure on Westbound H-1 Freeway at the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B) from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29 for attenuator repairs. The ramp will be closed during this work.

— H-1 FREEWAY — 

1) MAKAKILO (NIGHT WORK) 

Closure of two westbound lanes on the H-1 Freeway between the Kualakai Parkway on-ramp and the Makakilo Drive off-ramp from 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26 to 4 a.m. Monday, July 27 for precast concrete panel installations. 

2) SALT LAKE TO STADIUM – EASTBOUND 

Continuous weekend closure of three to four lanes on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kaimakani Street overpass and the Nimitz Highway/Airport off-ramp (Exit 15), from 7 p.m. on Friday, July 24 through 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 26 for paving and guardrail work as part of the H-1 Salt Lake Rehabilitation project. 

Friday night work will include paving in the third lane from the median. 

Saturday day work will address punchlist observations for the guardrails. 

Saturday night work will continue paving in the third lane from the median. 

Sunday day work will include removal of equipment and preparing lanes to reopen. 

3) SALT LAKE TO STADIUM – WESTBOUND 

Two right lanes closed on westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Navy Marine Golf Course and Exit 12 to Aiea from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 26 for permanent striping as part of the H-1 Salt Lake Rehabilitation project. 

4) HONOLULU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, in the vicinity of the Ola Lane overpass and Richard Lane, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1widening.com/ 

5) HONOLULU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway, in the westbound direction, in the vicinity of the Likelike Highway on-ramp and the Gulick Avenue overpass, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1widening.com/ 

6) KINAU OFF-RAMP 

The Kinau Street off-ramp from the eastbound H-1 Freeway and the right lane approaching the ramp will be closed from 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 26 to 4:30 a.m. Monday, July 27 for preconstruction surveying. Traffic will be detoured to the Punchbowl Street off-ramp. 

7) WARD ON-RAMP (NIGHT WORK) 

Nightly closure of the Ward Avenue on-ramp to eastbound H-1 Freeway and the right lane approaching the ramp from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following morning, on Sunday, July 26 for guardrail improvements. 

8) PIIKOI ON-RAMP (NIGHT WORK) 

Nightly closure of the Piikoi Street on-ramp to eastbound H-1 Freeway from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following day, on Sunday, July 26 for guardrail improvements. Traffic will be detoured to the Old Waialae Road on-ramp.  

 

— H-2 FREEWAY — 

1) WAIPIO (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right side shoulder closure on southbound H-2 Freeway after the Ka Uka Boulevard on-ramp, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for the duration of the Interstate Route H-2 Panakauahi Culvert Rehabilitation. 

 

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY — 

1) HONOLULU TO HALAWA (NIGHT WORK) 

Nightly three lane closure on the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between the Puuloa Road on-ramp and the Ala Kapuna Street overpass, from 9 p.m. Sunday, July 26 through 5 a.m. Monday, July 27 for repaving work. Closure will start on the left side and move as work progresses. 

 

— H-3 FREEWAY — 

1) KANEOHE (24-HOUR CLOSURE)

2) KANEOHE 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of the Kaneohe-bound H-3 Freeway, between the Harano Tunnels and the Hospital Rock Tunnels, from 2 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, July 25 for repairing of steel plate welds. 

 

— PALI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 61) — 

1) KAILUA 

Roving single right lane closure on southbound Pali Highway (Route 61) between Castle Junction and the Pali tunnels from 3 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 25 for tree trimming and shoulder scraping. 

 

— KALIHI STREET/LIKELIKE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 63) — 

1) KALIHI (NIGHT WORK)  

Single right lane closure on Kalihi Street (Route 63) possible in either direction, between Eluwene Street and Colburn Street, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day, on Friday, July 24 to support sewer work, paving and installation of temporary striping for HART.  

2) KALIHI (NIGHT WORK) 

Full closure of Honolulu-bound Likelike Highway (Route 63) at the intersection of Kamehameha IV Road, from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. the following day, on the evening of Friday, July 24 for traffic signal mast arm replacement. Single lane closure on Nimitz Highway in both directions between Awa Street and Richards Street on Saturday, July 25 for HART civil restoration, drilling and traffic signal work. 

Closure times for the eastbound lane will be 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Closure times for the westbound lane will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 93) — 

1) KO OLINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of eastbound Farrington Highway (Route 93) between Aliinui Drive and Koio Drive, from 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26 to 4 a.m. Monday, July 27 for digging of electrical trench in the median. 

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 99) — 

1) PEARL CITY 

Up to two lane closure on westbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) between Waihona Street and the H-1/H-2 on-ramps from 4 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the morning of Saturday, July 25 for Kona low emergency drain clearing of Waiawa Stream. 2) PEARL HARBOR (HART CLOSURE) 

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kohomua Street and Center Drive on Saturday, July 25 for roadway maintenance and landscaping. 

Closure times for the eastbound lane will be 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Closure times for the westbound lane will be 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 7101) — 

1) EWA BEACH/WAIPAHU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Detour and contraflow on eastbound Farrington Highway (Route 7101) in the vicinity of Old Fort Weaver Road until further notice as part of the Farrington Highway Widening project. 1) HALAWA 

Two right lanes closed on eastbound Halawa Heights Road (Route 7241) between Puumakani Street and Elrod Road, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 25 for moving of equipment fronting Camp Smith.

24/7 single lane closure on the following state-owned portions of Dillingham Boulevard for HART civil, utility and guideway installation:

Closure of three to four lanes on the eastbound H-1 Freeway between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Aiea Heights Exit 13A, nightly from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following morning, on Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30 for the Pearl City and Waimalu Viaduct Improvements. 

Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side to be closed at a time. 

5) AIEA TO AIRPORT (NIGHT WORK) 

Closure of three left lanes on the eastbound H-1 Freeway between the Kaonohi Overpass and the Airport/Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam exit nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following morning, on Tuesday, July 28 through Thursday, July 30 for permanent striping. 

6) MAPUNAPUNA TO HAWAII KAI 

Roving single lane closure on H-1 Freeway in both directions between Puuloa Road to Lunalilo Home Road between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 as crews address potholes and other reported maintenance. 

7) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE)

One to two lanes closed on Pali Highway (Route 61) one in each direction, between School Street and Waokanaka Street, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30 for crosswalk gateway and delineator maintenance. 

3) NUUANU 

Right shoulder closure on Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between Waokanaka Street and the Pali Tunnels, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for grass trimming and litter removal.  

4) NUUANU TO KAILUA  

Single lane closure on Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between the Pali Tunnels and Castle Junction, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for pavement marking work. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one direction/side to be closed at a time.

Roving shoulder closure on Pali Highway/Kalanianaole Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between Castle Junction and Castle Medical Center, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.

Single left lane closures on Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61), possible in either direction, between Ulumanu Drive and Uluhala Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for traffic signals project. Single left lane closure on southbound Likelike Highway (Route 63) through the Wilson Tunnels, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29 for drain cleaning equipment maintenance through the tunnel.

 

— SAND ISLAND ACCESS ROAD (ROUTE 64) — 

1) SAND ISLAND  

Shoulder closures on Sand Island Access Road (Route 64) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for storm drain cleaning and inspection at the following locations: 

  • Northbound approaching the Hoonee Place intersection 
  • Southbound approaching Pahounui Drive 

 

— KANEOHE BAY DRIVE (ROUTE 65) —

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65) between Nohonani Place and Namoku Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for erosion control work. 

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 72) — 

1) WAIMANALO TO MAKAPUU 

Roving shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, between Waimanalo Junction and Makapuu Point Lighthouse Trail Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.

Alternating single lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction between Inoaole Street and Waimanalo Bay Street from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for installation of signs for future speed table.  

3) KAILUA TO MAKAPUU 

Roving shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, between Waimanalo Junction and Makapuu Lighthouse Trail Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for weed control spraying.  

4) HAWAII KAI  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) between Waiholo Street and Kalaniiki Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 29 for HECO utility pole upgrades.

Single right lane closure on southbound Fort Weaver Road (Route 76) between Papipi Road and Kimopelekane Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for drilling work for manholes. 

2) EWA BEACH TO WAIPAHU  

Roving shoulder closure on Fort Weaver Road (Route 76) possible in either direction, between Aawa Drive and Farrington Highway, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30 for mechanical mowing, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal.

Single lane closure and lane shift on Kamehameha Highway (Route 80) possible in either direction, between Wilikina Drive and the H-1 Freeway overpass, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Wednesday, July 29 for sign work. Closure may be of the left or right lane; one direction/side to be closed at a time.

1) HALEIWA TO KAHALUU  

Roving right shoulder closure on Joseph P. Leong/Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Weed Circle and the Kahaluu Roundabout, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for tree trimming, pothole filling and sign maintenance.  

2) KAHALUU 

Single right lane closure on northbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Nukuwai Place and RRR Recycling Services, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for clearing of Kaalaea Stream. Traffic will be contraflowed through the Mauka lane.  

 

— KAHEKILI/ KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) —

Roving shoulder closure on Kahekili Highway/Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between the Hygienic Store and Castle Junction, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.

Single right lane closure on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) possible in both directions between Valkenburg Street and Puuloa Road from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for spall repairs along columns. 

2) AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL 

Single right lane closure on eastbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Rodgers Boulevard and Lagoon Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for sidewalk, curb and gutter repairs. 

3) IWILEI (24/7 HART CLOSURE) 

The following 24/7 closures are in place within the Nimitz Highway/Ala Moana corridor until further notice:

The inside lane of both directions of Nimitz Highway between Awa and Richards Streets

Single left lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction, between Blaisdell Park and Kaahumanu Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30 for fence work.

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kohomua Street and Center Drive on Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 for roadway maintenance and landscaping.
