2) WAIPAHU

Lane shift on the right-hand side of the Honolulu-bound H-2 Freeway along the Waianae/Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 1B), from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8 for emergency attenuator repairs.

— H-1 FREEWAY — 

1) KAPOLEI TO KUNIA 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between the Kalaeloa Interchange and the Kunia Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Wednesday, July 8 for various maintenance activities to address complaints.   

2) KAPOLEI TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Makakilo interchange and the Waipahu/Ewa Beach Interchange, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Sunday, July 5 through Thursday, July 9 for demolition and installation of new precast panels. This closure may be of the left, or right lanes, one side to be closed at a time. The left lane of the Makakilo off-ramp (Exit 2) will also be closed during work in the left lanes. 

3) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Kaamilo Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, July 7 for work as part of the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.  

Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side to be closed at a time. 

4) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Kaahumanu Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 9 for work as part of the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.  

Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side to be closed at a time.  

5) PEARL CITY 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B) from the westbound H-1 Freeway, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10 for slope improvements.   

6) AIRPORT VIADUCT TO KAHALA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between Puuloa Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 to address pothole, litter, and sign requests.  

7) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Ola Lane overpass and Richard Lane, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1awidening.com/.  

8) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Ola Lane overpass and the Likelike Highway off-ramp (Exit 20A) from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6 for prep work and partial deployment of the Temporary Pedestrian bridge leading up to full freeway closure on Saturday, July 11 as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. Full closure of the Kinau Street off-ramp from the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Punchbowl Street on-ramp and the Royal Kinau Apartments building, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 5 through Wednesday, July 8 for roadway improvements. Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the Honolulu-bound H-2 Freeway, between the Ka Uka Boulevard on-ramp and the Waipio Self Storage, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for construction of access road. 

 

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY — 

1) HONOLULU TO HALAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Three lane closure of the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between Richard Lane and the Halawa Interchange, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the evening of Sunday, July 5 through Thursday, July 9 for repaving work. Closure may be of the left or right lanes, one side to be closed at a time. 2) MOANALUA (NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between the Puuloa Road on-ramp and the Moanalua Valley/Salt Lake/Red Hill off-ramp (Exit 2), from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Monday, July 6 through Thursday, July 9 for surveying work. 

3) MOANALUA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of the eastbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between the Puuloa Road off-ramp (Exit 3) and the Puuloa/Jarrett White Road overpass, from 3 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, July 4 for grass trimming, leaf blowing, shoulder shoveling/scraping.  

4) FORT SHAFTER (NIGHT WORK) 

Full closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway off-ramp to the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, in the vicinity of the Honolulu/ King Steet off-ramp, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6 as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. 1) KAILUA 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the northbound H-3 Freeway, at the Kaneohe Bay Drive underpass approaching the Kaneohe Marine Corps bridge to the main gate, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7 through Thursday, July 9 for staging trucks for vertical work.  

 

— PALI HIGHWAY/ KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY/ KAILUA ROAD (ROUTE 61) — 

1) NUUANU 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between School Street and Waokanaka Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for grass trimming and litter removal. 

2) NUUANU TO KAILUA 

Single lane closure on Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between the Pali Tunnels and Castle Junction, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for pavement marking work. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one direction/side to be closed at a time. 

3) KANEOHE TO KAILUA 

Roving shoulder closure on Pali Highway/Kalanianaole Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between Castle Junction and Castle Medical Center, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time. 

4) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61), possible in either direction, between Ulumanu Drive and Uluhala Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for traffic signals project. Potential closures of a single lane in both directions (for a total of two lanes) may be necessary. New signals are activated. — LIKELIKE HIGHWAY/ KALIHI STREET (ROUTE 63) —

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound Kalihi Street (Route 63) between Hart Street and Kahanu Street, 24-hours a day, seven days a week for HART restriping work.

  • Likelike Highway& North School Street 
  • Likelike Highway& Kamehameha Highway

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kalihi Street/Likelike Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between Nalanieha Street and Valley View Drive, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for grass trimming and litter removal.  

4) KANEOHE 

Single lane and shoulder closure on the left-hand side of Likelike Highway (Route 63) possible in either direction between the Wilson Tunnels and Kahekili Highway, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for grass and tree trimming along the median.  

 

— SAND ISLAND ACCESS ROAD (ROUTE 64) —  

1) HONOLULU 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Sand Island Access Road (Route 64) possible in either direction, between Auiki Street and Mikole Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Thursday, July 9 for grass trimming and litter removal.  

 

— KANEOHE BAY DRIVE (ROUTE 65) —  

1) KANEOHE 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65) between Nohonani Place and Namoku Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for erosion control work.  

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 72) — 

1) KAILUA TO MAKAPUU 

Roving shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, between Castle Medical Center and Makapuu Point Lighthouse Trail Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.  

2) WAIMANALO  

Alternating single lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, between Tinker Road and Waimanalo Bay Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for installation of speed table.  

3) WAIMANALO 

Single lane closure on Kailua-bound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) in the vicinity of Nalu Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for storm drain cleaning and CCTV inspection. Closure may be of the left or right lane; one side to be closed at a time. 

4) WAIMANALO TO HAWAII KAI (NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating single lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, between the Makai Pier and Hawaii Kai golf course, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Monday, July 6 through Wednesday, July 8 for paving and resurfacing. One direction/side to be closed at a time. 

5) MAKAPUU 

Single lane closure on Kailua-bound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) approximately 1.2 miles prior to the intersection of Makapuu Point Lighthouse Trail Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for storm drain cleaning and CCTV inspection. Closure may be of the left or right lane; one side to be closed at a time. 

6) KOKO HEAD 

Single lane closure on Kailua-bound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) approximately 0.2 miles prior to the Halona Blowhole Lookout, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for storm drain cleaning and CCTV inspection. Closure may be of the left or right lane; one side to be closed at a time. 

7) KAHALA 

Single lane closure on Kailua-bound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) fonting Waialae Iki Park, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for storm drain cleaning and CCTV inspection. Closure may be of the left or right lane; one side to be closed at a time. 

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 80) — 

1) WAHIAWA 

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 80) possible in either direction, between Wilikina Drive and the H-1 Freeway overpass, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Thursday, July 9 for sign work. Closure may be of the left or right lane; one direction/side to be closed at a time.  

 

— JOSEPH P. LEONG/ KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) HALEIWA TO KAHALUU  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between Weed Circle and the Kahaluu Roundabout, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for tree trimming, pothole filling and sign maintenance.  

2) WAIMEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between Tutu Street and Kapuhi Street, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Sunday, July 5 through Thursday, July 9, for striping work as part of the Kamehameha Highway Rehabilitation project. One direction will be closed at a time. 

3) WAIMEA (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Single lane closure on Kahuku-bound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Iliohu Place and Waimea Valley Road, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week to install a permanent rockfall protection system. Traffic in both directions will be maintained by alternating vehicles (contraflow) in the remaining lane with flaggers. 4) HALEIWA  

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Haleiwa-bound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Pukea Road and Comsat Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for Spectrum utility work.  

5) KAHANA TO KAAAWA  

Alternating single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between Kahana Bay and Keo Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for installation of signs for future speed table. 

6) KUALOA  

Alternating single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between Kualoa Ranch’s main entrance and the Kualoa Regional Park main entrance, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Thursday, July 9 for installation of signs for future speed table. 

7) WAIAHOLE  

Alternating single lane closure and lane shift on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Waiahole Valley Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 and Tuesday, July 7 for topographic surveying. 

 

— KAHEKILI/ KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) KAHALUU TO KANEOHE 

Roving shoulder closure on Kahekili Highway/Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between the Hygienic Store and Castle Junction, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time. 

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY/ALA MOANA BOULEVARD (ROUTE 92) — 

1) AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of the westbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Camp Caitilin Road and Paiea Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7 for drain work near the intersection of Camp Caitlin Road.  

2) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Closures on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Awa Street and Richards Street on Sunday, July 5, through Friday, July 10, over a 24-hour period, for HART work includes: 

  • 24/7 CLOSURE: Awa Street closed 24/7 from Nimitz Highway (Route 92), in either direction through November 2026. 
  • 24/7 CLOSURE: Inside lanes in either direction on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) for installation of K-Rails, through 2030.  
  • Single lane closure on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) one in either direction, between Awa Street and Richards Street from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10, for support of drilling, traffic signal work, and civil restoration, in addition to the 24-hour lane closures. Eastbound lane will close at 8:30 a.m. 
  • Left turn restrictions and lane shift from Nimitz Highway (Route 92) onto Halekauwila Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 to accommodate pothole filling. 
  • Bishop Street full sidewalk closure east side (Diamond Head) of Bishop Street between Aloha Tower Drive and Nimitz Highway to support wall demolition. Closure lifted at 10 p.m. nightly. 
  • Roving single lane closure on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) possible in either direction, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for CCTV work at the following intersections:  
  • Alakawa Street & Nimitz Highway 
  • Kalihi Street & Nimitz Highway 
  • Waiakamilo Street & Nimitz Highway 
  • Nimitz Highway & Sand Island Access Road 
  • NIGHT WORK: Up to two lanes closed on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) in both directions, between Awa Street and Richards Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, July 6 through Thursday, July 9 to support drilling work. One through lane to be maintained at all times.

3) HONOLULU  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Ala Moana Boulevard (Route 92) between Koula Street and Ward Avenue, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 for HECO underground utility line installation. 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 93) — 

1) MAKUA TO KAPOLEI    

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Farrington Highway (Route 93) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Makua Beach and the Kalaeloa Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, July 6 through Thursday, July 9 for various maintenance activities to address complaints.     

2) KO OLINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on westbound Farrington Highway (Route 93) between the Ko Olina off- and on-ramps, from 3 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, July 4 for lighting repairs along the ramps. The westbound Farrington Highway on-ramp from Ko Olina will be closed during this work. One direction/side to be closed at a time. 

3) KO OLINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of eastbound Farrington Highway (Route 93) between Aliinui Drive and Koio Drive, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Sunday, July 5 through Thursday, July 9 for digging of electrical trench in the median. 

 

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD (ROUTE 98) — 

1) HONOLULU 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Vineyard Boulevard (Route 98) between Liliha Street and Aala Street, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 10 for bulky item removal.  

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY/KAMANANUI ROAD/WILIKINA DRIVE (ROUTE 99) — 

1) WAIALUA TO WAHIAWA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Honolulu-bound Kamehameha Highway/Kamananui Road/Wilikina Drive (Route 99) between Weed Circle and the H-2 Freeway overpass, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7 through Friday, July 10 for tree trimming.  

2) PEARL CITY 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of the westbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) between the H-1 Freeway overpass and Farrington Highway, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 6 for drain cleaning near the Waihona Street intersection. 

3) AIEA  

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) between Puu Momi Street and Puu Poni Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7 and Wednesday, July 8 for tree trimming.  

4) AIEA  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) between Puu Poni Street and Kuleana Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Monday, July 6 for tree trimming and hauling. 

5) PEARL HARBOR  

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction between Kohomua Street and Center Drive, on Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10 for HART civil work. Closure times vary by direction and are scheduled as follows:  

  • Eastbound closures: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  
  • Westbound closures: 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

6) KALIHI (24/7 CLOSURE) 

The following closures are 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for The Rail. 

  • H-1 eastbound off-ramp to Dillingham Blvd. reduced to one lane.  
  • Middle Street southbound left turn reduced to single turn lane. 
  • Dillingham Boulevard eastbound between Middle Street and Marukai will have a single lane closed. 
  • Dillingham Boulevard westbound between GasPro and Middle Street will have a single lane closed.

— KUNIA ROAD (ROUTE 750) — 

1) KUNIA (WEEKEND WORK) 

Single lane closure of the northbound lane on Kunia Road (Route 750) in the vicinity of the National Security Agency Facility, between Kunia Drive and Wright Avenue, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 5 for striping work following recent slope stabilization. — KAUKONAHUA ROAD (ROUTE 803) — 

1) WAIALUA  

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound Kaukonahua Road (Route 803) between Farrington Highway and Wilikina Drive, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7 through Friday, July 10 for tree trimming.  

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY/KAUKONAHUA ROAD (ROUTE 930) —
