ADDED 6/17/26

1) PEARL HARBOR/HICKAM 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Center Drive and South Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 19 for form removal work fronting the Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam, Nimitz Gate.

4) MOANALUA

Lane shift to the left-hand side of westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, along the Moanalua Valley/Salt Lake/Red Hill off-ramp (Exit 2), from 9 a.m. to 11:30a.m. on Tuesday, June 16 to repair fencing just after the off-ramp.

9) AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kaamilo Street overpass and the Kaahumanu Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, June 16 for work on the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. 

Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. One side to be closed at a time.  

13) HONOLULU

Single lane and ramp closure on the right-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, at the Likelike Highway off-ramp (Exit 20A), from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, June 15 for emergency attenuator repairs. The Likelike Highway off-ramp will be closed during this work. Please proceed with caution.

 

— H-1 FREEWAY — 

1) KAPOLEI TO KUNIA 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between the Kalaeloa Interchange and the Kunia Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Wednesday, June 17 for various maintenance activities to address complaints.   

2) KAPOLEI TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Makakilo interchange and the Waipahu/Ewa Beach Interchange, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Sunday, June 14 through Thursday, June 18 for demolition and installation of new precast panels. This closure may be of the left, or right lanes, one side to be closed at a time. The left lane of the Makakilo off-ramp (Exit 2) will also be closed during this work. 

3) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three lanes building to four closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Manager’s Drive overpass and the Kaamilo Street overpass for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. Closure hours vary by day of the week and are:  

  • 7 p.m. Friday, June 12, through 8 a.m. Saturday, June 13  
  • 7 p.m. Saturday, June 13 through 9 a.m. Sunday, June 14 

Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. One side to be closed at a time.  

4) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Managers Drive overpass and the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10), from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, June 16 Wednesday, June 17 through Thursday, June 18 for work on the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. 

Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. One side to be closed at a time.  

5) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Kaamilo Street overpass for refreshing of temporary striping for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. Work hours vary by day of the week and are scheduled as follows: 

  • 7 p.m. Friday, June 12 to 6 a.m., Saturday, June 13  
  • 7 p.m. Saturday, June 13 to 8 a.m., Sunday, June 14 

Note: This eastbound closure will only be implemented if there is rain and the westbound closure (entry #3) cannot be used for the night. Work will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side to be closed at a time. The eastbound H-1 Freeway on-ramp from Moanalua Road/Waimalu will be closed during this work.  

6) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Kaamilo Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, June 16 through Thursday, June 18 for refreshing of temporary striping for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.  

Note: This eastbound closure will only be implemented if there is rain and the westbound closure (entry #4) The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side to be closed at a time. The eastbound H-1 Freeway on-ramp from Moanalua Road/Waimalu will be closed during this work.  

7) PEARL CITY 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B) from the westbound H-1 Freeway, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, for slope improvements.  

8) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Waimalu on-ramp and the Aiea/Halawa off-ramp (Exit 13A) from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Friday, June 12 for striping and markings installations.

9) AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three building to four lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kaamilo Street overpass and the Kaahumanu Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, June 16 for work on the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.

9) SALT LAKE TO STADIUM (WEEKEND/ NIGHT WORK) 

Closure of three lanes building to four on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kaimakani Street overpass and the Nimitz Highway/Airport off-ramp (Exit 15), continuously closed from 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12 through 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 for paving and guardrail work as part of the H-1 Salt Lake Rehabilitation project. The fourth lane will be closed during the following hours:  

  • 7 p.m. Friday, June 12 to 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 13 
  • 7 p.m. Saturday, June 13 to 7 a.m. on Sunday, June 14 

10) STADIUM TO AIRPORT VIADUCT (WEEKEND WORK) 

Three lanes closed on the left-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, between Luapele Drive and Valkenburgh Street, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 for striping work as part of the H-1 Salt Lake Rehabilitation project.  

11) AIRPORT VIADUCT TO KAHALA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between Puuloa Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Thursday, June 18 to address pothole, litter, and sign requests.  

12) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Ola Lane overpass and Richard Lane, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1awidening.com/.

13) HONOLULU

Single lane and ramp closure on the right-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, at the Likelike Highway off-ramp (Exit 20A), from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, June 15 for emergency attenuator repairs. The Likelike Highway off-ramp will be closed during this work. Please proceed with caution.

— H-2 FREEWAY — 

1) WAIPAHU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the Honolulu-bound H-2 Freeway, between the Ka Uka Boulevard on-ramp and the Waipio Self Storage, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for construction of access road. 

 

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY — 

1) HONOLULU TO HALAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Three lane closure on the left-hand side of the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between Richard Lane and the Halawa Interchange, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the evening of Sunday, June 14 through Tuesday, June 16 for repaving work. Single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between Moanalua Road and Ala Kapuna Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Thursday, June 18 for new bust stop shelter installation.

4) MOANALUA

Lane shift to the left-hand side of westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, along the Moanalua Valley/Salt Lake/Red Hill off-ramp (Exit 2), from 9 a.m. to 11:30a.m. on Tuesday, June 16 to repair fencing just after the off-ramp.

— H-3 FREEWAY —  

1) HALAWA TO KANEOHE (WEEKEND WORK) 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of Honolulu-bound H-3 Freeway, between the Halawa Interchange and the Harano Tunnels, from 3 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 13 for grass trimming, leaf blowing and shoulder scraping work (i.e. removal of moss).  

 

— PALI HIGHWAY/ KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY/ KAILUA ROAD (ROUTE 61) — 

1) NUUANU  

One to two lanes closed on Pali Highway (Route 61) one in each direction, between School Street and Waokanaka Street, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18 for maintenance of crosswalk gateways and delineators.  

2) NUUANU  

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of Kailua-bound Pali Highway (Route 61) between the Wyllie Street on-ramp and Coelho Way, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for installation of striping at new speed table. 

3) NUUANU TO KAILUA  

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction between Waokanaka Street and the Pali Tunnels, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Thursday, June 18 for mechanical mowing and tree trimming.  

4) NUUANU TO KAILUA  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between Waokanaka Street and the Pali Tunnels, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for grass trimming and litter removal.  

5) NUUANU TO KAILUA 

Single lane closure on Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between the Pali Tunnels and Castle Junction, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for pavement marking work. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one direction/side to be closed at a time. 

6) KAHALUU TO KANEOHE 

Roving shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between Castle Junction and Castle Medical Center, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.  

7) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61), possible in either direction, between Ulumanu Drive and Uluhala Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for traffic signals project. Potential closures of a single lane in both directions (for a total of two lanes) may be necessary. New signals activate, Monday, June 15. 8) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Honolulu-bound Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61) between the Castle Medical Center and Hamakua Drive, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for grass and tree trimming.  

 

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY/ KALIHI STREET (ROUTE 63) — 

1) KALIHI (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound Kalihi Street (Route 63) between Hart Street and Kahanu Street, 24-hours a day, seven days a week for HART restriping work.

  • North King Street & Kalihi Street 
  • Likelike Highway& North School Street 
  • Likelike Highway& Kamehameha Highway 
  • Likelike Highway& Kula Kolea Drive

— KANEOHE BAY DRIVE (ROUTE 65) —  

1) KANEOHE TO KAILUA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kailua-bound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65) between Kamehameha Highway and Mokapu Boulevard, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for tree trimming.  

2) KANEOHE 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65) between Aumoku Street and Nohonani Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for erosion control work.  

3) KANEOHE  

Alternating single lane closure on Kailua-bound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65) between Nohea Place and Puaae Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for cleaning of stormwater treatment devices just before the intersection of Puaae Road.  

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 72) —  

1) KAILUA TO MAKAPUU 

Roving shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, between the Castle Medical Center and Makapuu Lighthouse Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.  

 

— FORT WEAVER ROAD (ROUTE 76) — 

1) EWA BEACH 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Fort Weaver Road (Route 76) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of West Loch Golf Course, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for cleaning of stormwater treatment devices. One direction to be closed at a time. 

2) EWA BEACH 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound Fort Weaver Road (Route 76) in the vicinity of Coral Creek Golf Course, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for cleaning of stormwater treatment devices. One direction to be closed at a time. 

3) EWA BEACH 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of northbound Fort Weaver Road (Route 76) in the vicinity of Ewa Beach Town Center and Iroquois Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for drilling and excavation fronting Longs Drugs, Ewa Beach.  

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 80) — 

1) WAHIAWA 

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 80) possible in either direction, between Wilikina Drive and the H-1 Freeway overpass, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Wednesday, June 17 for sign work. Closure may be of the left or right lane; one direction/side to be closed at a time.  

2) WAHIAWA 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of northbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 80) between Ohai Street and Wilikina Drive, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Thursday, June 18 for installation of new bus stop shelter. 

3) WAHIAWA  

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of southbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 80) between Kilani Avenue and Whitmore Avenue, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for boring and drilling work. Motorists will alternate contraflow through the northbound lane.  

 

— JOSEPH P. LEONG/ KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) HALEIWA TO KAHALUU  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between Weed Circle and the Kahaluu Roundabout, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for tree trimming, pothole filling and sign maintenance.  

2) WAIMEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between Tutu Street and Kapuhi Street, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Sunday, June 14 through Thursday, June 18, for striping work as part of the Kamehameha Highway Rehabilitation project. One direction will be closed at a time. 

3) WAIMEA (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Single lane closure on Kahuku-bound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Iliohu Place and Waimea Valley Road, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week to install a permanent rockfall protection system. Traffic in both directions will be maintained by alternating vehicles (contraflow) in the remaining lane with flaggers. 4) HAUULA 

Alternating lane shift on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between the Kaipaupau Stream Bridge and Pipilani Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for asphalt and concrete repairs.  

 

— KAHEKILI/ KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) KAHALUU TO KANEOHE 

Roving shoulder closure on Kahekili Highway/Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between the Hygienic Store and Castle Junction, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.  

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY/ALA MOANA BOULEVARD (ROUTE 92) —

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Center Drive and South Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 19 for form removal work fronting the Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam, Nimitz Gate.

2) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Closures on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Awa Street and Richards Street on Sunday, June 14, through Friday, June 19, over a 24-hour period, for HART work includes: 

  • 24/7 CLOSURE: Awa Street closed 24/7 from Nimitz Highway (Route 92), in either direction through November 2026. 
  • 24/7 CLOSURE: Inside lanes in either direction on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) for installation of K-Rails, through 2030.  
  • Single lane closure on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) one in either direction, between Awa Street and Richards Street from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19, for support of drilling, traffic signal work, and civil restoration, in addition to the 24-hour lane closures. Eastbound lane will close at 8:30 a.m. 
  • Left turn restrictions and lane shift from southbound Bishop Street toward Nimitz Highway (Route 92), from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 to accommodate traffic loop installations. 
  • Bishop Street full sidewalk closure east side (Diamond Head) of Bishop Street between Aloha Tower Drive and Nimitz Highway to support wall demolition. Closure lifted at 10 p.m. nightly. 
  • Roving single lane closure on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) possible in either direction, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for CCTV work at the following intersections:  
  • Alakawa Street & Nimitz Highway 
  • Kalihi Street & Nimitz Highway 
  • Waiakamilo Street & Nimitz Highway 
  • Nimitz Highway & Sand Island Access Road 
  • NIGHT WORK: Up to two lanes closed on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) in both directions, between Awa Street and Richards Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 to support drilling work. One through lane to be maintained at all times.

Two turning-lanes closed on Ala Moana Boulevard (Route 92) one in each direction, at the intersection of Forrest Avenue and South Street, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the evening of Friday, June 12 for paving work.  

5) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK) 

Two lanes closed on Ala Moana Boulevard (Route 92) possible in either direction, between Cooke Street and Queen Street, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Saturday, June 13 for overhead street name sign work. One direction/side to be closed at a time.  

6) HONOLULU  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Koula Street and Ward Avenue, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for underground utility work. 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 93) — 

1) MAKUA TO KAPOLEI    

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Farrington Highway (Route 93) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Makua Beach and the Kalaeloa Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, June 15 and Wednesday, June 17 for various maintenance activities to address complaints.     

2) MAKAHA 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Farrington Highway (Route 93) between Kili Drive and Upena Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, June 15 through Wednesday, June 17 for HECO utility work. 

3) KO OLINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction between Kohomua Street and Center Drive, on Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19 for HART civil work. Closure times vary by direction and are scheduled as follows:  

  • Eastbound closures: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
