— H-1 FREEWAY — 

1) KAPOLEI TO KUNIA 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between the Kalaeloa Interchange and the Kunia Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14 for various maintenance activities to address complaints.   

2) EWA BEACH TO PEARL CITY  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kunia Interchange and the Pearl City Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14 for installation of delineators. 

3) PEARL CITY 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B) from the westbound H-1 Freeway, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15, for slope improvements. 

4) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Three to four lanes closed on the right-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Manager’s Drive overpass and the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10), from 7 p.m. Saturday, May 9, through 9 a.m. Sunday, May 10 for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. The Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10) from the westbound H-1 Freeway will be closed during this work. 

Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure.  

5) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three to four lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Manager’s Drive overpass and the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10), from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Monday, May 11 and Thursday, May 14 for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. The Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10) from the westbound H-1 Freeway will be closed during this work. 

Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. One side to be closed at a time. 

6) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Three to four lanes closed on the left-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Waiawa Road overpass and the Mahiko Pedestrian overpass, from 7 p.m. Friday, May 8, through 8 a.m. Saturday, May 9 for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.  

Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. 

7) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating three to four lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Waiawa Road overpass and the Kaamilo Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13 for work on the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. One side to be closed at a time.  

8) AIRPORT VIADUCT TO KAHALA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between Puuloa Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14 to address pothole, litter, and sign requests.  

9) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, between the Ola Lane overpass and Richard Lane, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1awidening.com/.  

 

— H-2 FREEWAY — 

1) WAIPAHU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the Honolulu-bound H-2 Freeway, between the Ka Uka Boulevard on-ramp and the Waipio Self Storage, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for construction of access road. 

 

— PALI HIGHWAY/ KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY/ KAILUA ROAD (ROUTE 61) — 

1) NUUANU TO KAILUA  

Alternating single lane closure on Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between Waokanaka Street and the Pali Tunnels, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for pavement markings work. Note: Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side/direction to be closed at a time. 

2) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kailua-bound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 61) approximately half a mile after Castle Junction, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for storm drain cleaning and CCTV Inspections.  

3) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of Honolulu-bound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 61) approximately half a mile before Castle Junction, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for storm drain cleaning and CCTV Inspections.  

4) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kailua-bound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 61) approximately 0.62 miles after Castle Junction, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for storm drain cleaning and CCTV Inspections.  

5) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Honolulu-bound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 61) approximately 0.62 miles after Castle Junction, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for storm drain cleaning and CCTV Inspections.  

6) KAILUA TO MAKAPUU 

Roving shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between the Castle Junction and the Castle Medical Center, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.  

7) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61), possible in either direction, between Ulumanu Drive and Uluhala Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for traffic signals project. Potential closures of a single lane in both directions (for a total of two lanes) may be necessary. 

 

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY/ KALIHI STREET (ROUTE 63) — 

1) KALIHI (DAY + NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound Kalihi Street (Route 63) between Colburn Street and Eluwene Street, Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for HART utility work. One lane to remain open at all times.

2) KALIHI (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound Kalihi Street (Route 63) between Hart Street and Kahanu Street, 24-hours a day, seven days a week, beginning Monday, May 11 for HART restriping work.

3) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating single lane closure on Kalihi Street (Route 63) possible in either direction through the North King Street intersection, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Friday, May 8 for striping work. Closure may be of the left or right lanes, one direction/side to be closed at a time. 

4) KANEOHE  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Likelike Highway (Route 63), between the Kaneohe-end of the Wilson Tunnels and the Kahekili Highway intersection, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for grass trimming and litter removal.   

 

— SAND ISLAND ACCESS ROAD (ROUTE 64) —  

1) HONOLULU 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Sand Island Access Road (Route 64) possible in either direction, between Pahounui Drive and Mikole Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for grass trimming and litter removal.  

 

— KANEOHE BAY DRIVE (ROUTE 65) —  

1) KANEOHE 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65) between Aumoku Street and Nohonani Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for erosion control work.  

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 72) —  

1) KAILUA TO MAKAPUU 

Roving shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, between the Castle Medical Center and Makapuu Lighthouse Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.  

2) AINA HAINA  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) between Waa Street and Wailupe Beach, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12 through Thursday, May 14 for fencing installations. 

 

— FORT WEAVER ROAD (ROUTE 76) —  

1) KUNIA TO EWA BEACH 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Fort Weaver Road (Route 76) between the H-1 Freeway overpass and Aawa Drive, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14 for mechanical mowing, grass trimming and litter removal. 

 

— JOSEPH P. LEONG/ KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) HALEIWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating single lane closure on Jospeh P. Leong/ Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between Opaeula Stream Bridge and Kapuhi Street, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Sunday, May 10 through Thursday, May 14, for striping work toward Waimea as part of the Kamehameha Highway Rehabilitation project. One direction will be closed at a time. 

2) HALEIWA TO KAHALUU  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between the Haleiwa Town intersection and the Kahaluu Roundabout, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for tree trimming, pothole filling and sign maintenance.  

3) WAIMEA (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Single lane closure on Kahuku-bound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Iliohu Place and Waimea Valley Road, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week to install a permanent rockfall protection system. Traffic in both directions will be maintained by alternating vehicles (contraflow) in the remaining lane with flaggers. 4) LAIE   

Lane shift on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between Wahinepee Street and Anemoku Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for utility work at and around Laieloa Stream Bridge. Project website: https://laieloabridge.com/ 

 

— KAHEKILI/ KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) KAHALUU TO KANEOHE 

Roving shoulder closure on Kahekili Highway/Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between the Hygienic Store and Castle Junction, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for graffiti removal, sign maintenance, grass and tree trimming, and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.  

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY/ALA MOANA BOULEVARD (ROUTE 92) — 

1) PEARL HARBOR/HICKAM  

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of westbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) along the median, at the intersection of Center Drive and O’Malley Boulevard, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13 for installation of reinforced steel for sign footing fronting the Nimitz Gate to Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam.  

2) PEARL HARBOR/HICKAM  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) at the intersection of Center Drive and O’Malley Boulevard, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15 for installation of reinforced steel for sign footing fronting the Nimitz Gate to Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam.  

3) AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Nimitz Highway (Route 92) possible in either direction, between Valkenburgh Street and Puuloa Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14 for patching of spalled concrete columns.   

4) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Closures on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Awa Street and Richards Street on Sunday, May 10, through Friday, May 15, over a 24-hour period, for HART work includes: 

  • 24/7 CLOSURE: Awa Street closed 24/7 from Nimitz Highway, in either direction through November 2026. 
  • 24/7 CLOSURE: Inside lanes in either direction on Nimitz Highway for installation of K-Rails, through 2030.  
  • WEEKEND WORK: Nimitz Highway westbound between Richards Street and Bishop Street will have a single right lane closed from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, for manhole restoration. 
  • Nimitz Highway westbound between Richards Street and Bishop Street will have a single right lane closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for manhole restoration.  
  • Nimitz Highway eastbound and westbound between Awa Street and Richards Street will have a single lane closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15, in addition to the 24-hour lane closures. 
  • 24/7 CLOSURE: Crosswalk closure and detour at Nuuanu Avenue and Nimitz Highway. Left turn restrictions between Bethel Street and Nuuanu Avenue to accommodate equipment mobilization.  
  • 24/7 CLOSURE: Nuuanu Avenue crosswalk from Nimitz Highway closed and detoured beginning Friday, Feb. 6, through March 2026. 
  • NIGHT WORK: Up to two lanes closed on east and westbound Nimitz Highway between Awa Street and Richards Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 to support drilling work.

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Koula Street and Ward Avenue, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for underground utility work.  

  

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 93) — 

1) MAKUA TO KAPOLEI   

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Farrington Highway (Route 93) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Makua Beach and the Kalaeloa Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14 for various maintenance activities to address complaints.    

 

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD (ROUTE 98) — 

1) HONOLULU 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Vineyard Boulevard (Route 98), between Liliha Street and Aala Street, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 15 for bulky item removal.  

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 99) — 

1) HALEIWA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction, between Weed Circle and Nui Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for mechanical mowing and grass trimming.  

2) PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) between Waiawa Stream and Pearl Highlands Center, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Monday, May 11, Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14 for work to reroute street light conduit. Note: The Sam’s Club driveway exit to westbound Kamehameha Highway will be closed during this work. 

3) PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane and shouder closure on the left-hand side of westbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) between Waiawa Stream and Pearl Highlands Center, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12 for work to reroute street light conduit.  

4) PEARL HARBOR  

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction between Kohomua Street and Center Drive, on Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15 for HART civil work. Closure times vary by direction and are scheduled as follows:  

  • Eastbound closures: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  
  • Westbound closures: 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

5) KALIHI (24/7 CLOSURE) 

The following closures are 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for The Rail. 

  • H-1 eastbound off-ramp to Dillingham Blvd. reduced to one lane.  
  • Middle Street southbound left turn reduced to single turn lane. 
  • Dillingham Boulevard eastbound between Middle Street and Marukai will have a single lane closed. 
  • Dillingham Boulevard westbound between GasPro and Middle Street will have a single lane closed.

— KUNIA ROAD (ROUTE 750) — 

1) KUNIA 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side Kunia Road (Route 750) possible in either direction, between the H-1 Freeway overpass and Plantation Road, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for sign work.  

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 930) — 

1) MOKULEIA  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Farrington Highway (Route 930) possible in either direction, between Hoomana Place and Terminal Access Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14 for Bomford and tree trimming work fronting Kawaihapai (Dillingham) Airfield. One direction to be closed at a time.  

  

— WHITMORE AVENUE (ROUTE 7012) — 

1) WAHIAWA  

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of westbound Whitmore Avenue (Route 7012) between Uakanikoo Street and Nani Ihi Avenue, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for sidewalk, curb and gutter work. 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 7101) — 

1) KAPOLEI  

Alternating single lane closure on westbound Farrington Highway (Route 7101) between Kapolei Golf Course Road and the Grace Pacific Recycling Plant, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for installation of Hawaiian Telcom and Spectrum risers.  

2) KAPOLEI  

Alternating single lane closure on westbound Farrington Highway (Route 7101) between Kualakai Parkway and Palehua Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for Kaloi bridge demolition work. 

3) EWA BEACH/WAIPAHU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Detour and contraflow on eastbound Farrington Highway (Route 7101) in the vicinity of Old Fort Weaver Road, on Saturday, May 9, through Friday, May 15, over a 24-hour period, as part of the Farrington Highway Widening project. Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Halawa Heights Road (Route 7241) between the Ulune Street extension and Puumakani Street, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11 for grass trimming and litter removal.  

 

— ALA NAPUNANI STREET (ROUTE 7349) — 

1) MOANALUA  

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of eastbound Ala Napunani Street (Route 7349) between the H-201 Moanalua Freeway overpass and Moanalua Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 11 for fencing work. 

 

— AOLELE STREET —

Single lane closure and lane shift on westbound Aolele Street, fronting cargo companies, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., on Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 for paving as part of HART civil work.
