Maui Lane Closures

FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 29– JULY 5

 

PLEASE NOTE:

There will be no closures on Thursday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday unless permitted. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. HONOAPIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —

 

1) MAALAEA/PAPALAUA WAYSIDE PARK

Shoulder closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in the eastbound direction, between mile marker 7 and 10, in the vicinity of McGregor Point to Papalaua Wayside Park, on Monday, July 1 to Wednesday, July 3, and on Friday, July 5, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for guardrail installation and shoulder improvements.

 

2) MAALAEA

Right single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in the northbound direction, between mile marker 6.49 and 6.54, in the vicinity of the Maui Ocean Center, on Monday, July 1 to Wednesday, July 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail repair.

 

3) OLOWALU

Right single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in the westbound direction, between mile marker 14 and 15, in the vicinity of Kapaiki Place and Kuahulu Place, on Monday July 1 to Wednesday, July 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail repair. Traffic will be maintained with a lane shift.

 

 

MAIN STREET/KAAHUMANU AVENUE (ROUTE 32) —

 

 1) WAILUKU/KAHULUI

Shoulder closure on Main Street/Kaahumanu Avenue (Route 32), in both directions, between mile marker 0 and 2, in the vicinity of North High Street and Hobron Avenue, on Wednesday, July 3 and Friday, July 5, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for drain cleaning.

 

2) WAILUKU

Right lane closure on Kaahumanu Avenue (Route 32), in the westbound direction, between mile marker 0.4 and 0.6, in the vicinity of Kinipopo Street and Naniloa Drive, on Tuesday, July 2 to Wednesday, July 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

 

3) WAILUKU

Left lane closure on Kaahumanu Avenue (Route 32), in either direction, between Maui Lani Parkway and Kainani Street, on Tuesday, July 2 and Wednesday, July 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

 

— KAHEKILI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 340) —

  

1) WAIHEE

Right shoulder closure on Kahekili Highway (Route 340) in the northbound direction, between mile marker 0.4 and 1.5, in the vicinity of Nawaieha Place and Wilipohaku Street, on Wednesday, July 3 and Friday, July 5, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for drain cleaning.

 

 

— HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 36/360) —

 

1) HANA

Intermittent road closure on Hana Highway (Route 360) in both directions, at mile marker 11.5, in the vicinity of Haipuaena Falls, from Monday, July 1 to Wednesday, July 3, and Friday, July 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for emergency rock scaling. There will be short holds of traffic for approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

 

— HALEAKALA HIGHWAY/KEKAULIKE AVENUE (ROUTE 377) —

  

1) KULA

Right lane closure on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377) in the northbound direction, in between mile maker 5 and 7, in the vicinity of Upper Kimo Drive and Copp Road, from Monday, July 1 to Wednesday, July 3 and Friday, July 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for utility tree trimming.

 

2) KULA (24/7 CLOSURE)

Right lane closure on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377) in the southbound direction, in the vicinity of Alae Road and Waiakoa Road, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice due to eroded embankment.

 

— LAHAINA BYPASS (ROUTE 3000) —

  

1) LAHAINA

Lane shift and shoulder closure on Lahaina Bypass (Route 3000) in both directions, between mile marker 4.962 and 4.972, from Monday, July 1 to Wednesday, July 3, and Friday, July 5, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for permitted utility installation and associated work for the Kaiāulu o Kūkuʻia master-planned community. Travel lanes will remain open.

— KAHULUI BEACH ROAD /WAIEHU BEACH ROAD (ROUTE 3400) —

 

1) KAHULUI/PAUKUKALO

Right shoulder closure on Kahului Beach Road (Route 3400) in the eastbound direction, between mile marker 0 and mile marker 2.1, in the vicinity of Kaahumanu Avenue and Makaala Drive, on Wednesday, July 3, and Friday, July 5, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for drain cleaning.

 

2) PAUKUKALO/WAIEHU

Right lane closure on Waiehu Beach Road (Route 3400), in the westbound direction, between mile marker 2.0 and 2.6, in the vicinity of Makaala Drive and Kahekili Highway, from Monday, July 1 to Wednesday, July 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail repair.
