Maui Lane Closures
FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 27– JULY 3
PLEASE NOTE:
There will be no lane closures on the Fourth of July holiday, observed on Friday, July 3, unless permitted. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. — SOUTH HIGH STREET/HONOAPIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —
1) WAILUKU
Roving single lane closure on South High Street (Route 30) in the northbound direction, between mile marker 0 and 1, in the vicinity of Main Street and Kuikahi Drive from Wednesday, July 1 to Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for tree crown raising. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane.
2) UKUMEHAME (WEEKEND WORK)
Shoulder closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the westbound direction, between mile marker 11.9 and 12.2, in the vicinity of Ukumehame Park, on Saturday, June 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for Hawaiian Telcom fiber optic maintenance.
3) LAHAINA
Right single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile marker 19.5 and 20, in the vicinity of Hokiokio Place and Lahaina Recreation Center, from Monday, June 29 to Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for guardrail installation. One lane will remain open in both directions.
4) LAHAINA
Right single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile markers 20.5 and 20.8 in the vicinity of Dickenson Street and Prison Street, from Monday, June 29 to Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail replacement. One lane will remain open in both directions.
5) LAHAINA
Right single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between mile markers 20.5 and 20.8 in the vicinity of Dickenson Street and Prison Street, from Monday, June 29 to Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the replacement of two catch basins.
6) LAHAINA
Right single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile markers 20.9 and 21.9 in the vicinity of Lahainaluna Road and Kapunakea Street, from Monday, June 29 to Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail replacement. One lane will remain open in both directions.
8) HONOKOHAU
Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the makai lane near mile markers 36, from Monday, June 30 to Thursday, July 2 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., for slope stabilization work. Alternating traffic will be routed through the mauka side open lane.
— PIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 31) —
1) KIHEI
Shoulder closure on Piilani Highway (Route 31), in either direction, between mile markers 0 and 7.1 in the vicinity of North Kihei Road and Wailea Ike Drive from Monday, June 29 to Thursday, July 2, from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail landscaping.
2) KIHEI (24/7 CLOSURE)
Shoulder closure on Piilani Highway (Route 31), in the northbound direction, in the vicinity of East Waipuilani Road, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice for construction of a new intersection for Maui Research & Technology Park residential subdivision. — HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 36/360) —
1) SPRECKELSVILLE
Roving lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36), in the southbound direction, between mile marker 4 and 5, in the vicinity of Stable Road and Nonohe Place, from Monday, June 29 to Tuesday, June 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree crown raising. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with a lane shift.

1) KULA (24/7 CLOSURE)
Shoulder closure on Kula Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 9.9 and 10, at the intersection with Omaopio Road, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice for intersection improvements. 2) KULA
Single lane closure on Kula Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 9.9 and 10, at the intersection with Omaopio Road, from Monday, June 29 to Thursday, July 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for intersection improvements. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane.
— KAHEKILI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 340) —
1) WAIHEE
Roving single lane closure on Kahekili Highway (Route 340), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 4 and 6.5, in the vicinity of Waihee Ridge Trail and Kaukini Loop, from Wednesday, July 1 to Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree crown raising. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane.
— WAIEHU BEACH ROAD (ROUTE 3400) —
1) WAIEHU
Single lane closure on Waiehu Beach Road (Route 3400), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 2.2 and 2.6 in the vicinity of Maui Church of Christ and Kahekili Highway (Route 340), from Monday, June 29 to Thursday, July 2 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for HECO line extension. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane.
— KAHULUI BEACH ROAD (ROUTE 3400) —
1) KAHULUI
One to two lanes will be closed on Kahului Beach Road (Route 3400), in the eastbound direction, in the vicinity of Kanaloa Avenue, on Wednesday, July 1, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. to reset barriers knocked over in a crash.
