Update 4/28/26: There will be no further lane closures on Piilani Highway (Route 31) on Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 29 as the raised crosswalk work has been completed.
Update 4/27/26: Spot spraying along Hana Highway (Route 360) has been canceled for Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28.
— SOUTH HIGH STREET/HONOAPIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —
1) WAILUKU
Roving single lane closure on South High Street (Route 30) in the northbound direction, between mile marker 0 and 1, in the vicinity of Main Street and Kuikahi Drive, from Thursday, April 30 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for tree crown raising. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane.
2) WAILUKU TO WAIKAPU
Alternating single lane closure on South High Street/Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in either direction, between mile marker 0 and 3, in the vicinity of Main Street and Maui Tropical Plantation, from Wednesday, April 29 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for storm drain cleaning. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with a lane shift.
3) UKUMEHAME
Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in either direction, between mile marker 10.95 and 11.95, in the vicinity of Papalaua Wayside Park and Ukumehame Pakr, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the installation of pavement markers and striping. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with a lane shift.
4) KAANAPALI TO LAHAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT)
Roving single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction, between mile marker 19.5 and 24, in the vicinity of Kaanapali Parkway and Hokiokio Place, on Sunday, April 26, from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. for the Maui Marathon. 5) LAHAINA
Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction, between mile marker 19.86 and 20.25, in between Shaw Street and Aholo Road and from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to replace drain inlet in the roadway.
6) LAHAINA
Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction, between mile marker 20.25 and 20.8, between Dickenson Street and Shaw Street, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May1, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to clean the median. One lane in the southbound direction will be open for through traffic.
7) LAHAINA (24/7 CLOSURE)
Left lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction between mile marker 20.5 and 20.8 in the vicinity of Prison Street and Dickenson Street, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, for drain line replacement work. 8) LAHAINA
Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between mile markers 20.79 and 20.95 in the vicinity of Lahainaluna Road and Dickenson Street, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for replacement of drain inlet in the roadway. One southbound lane will remain open for through traffic.
9) LAHAINA
Two lanes closed on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction between mile markers 21.1 and 21.35 in the vicinity of Papalaua Street and Hinau Street from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for drain line work. Northbound traffic will be contraflowed into one southbound lane. There will be one lane open in each direction.
10) HONOKOHAU
Intermittent road closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in both directions, between mile marker 35 and 37, in the vicinity of Honokohau Bay, from Monday, April 27 to Thursday, April 30, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 1, for rockfall mitigation. — PIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 31) —
1) KIHEI (NIGHTWORK)
Single lane closure on Piilani Highway (Route 31), in either direction on the Wailea side of the roundabout near Kulanihakoi High School, nightly from Monday, April 27 to Wednesday, April 29, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday, April 28 with the last closure opening on Wednesday, April 29. 2) KIHEI (24/7 CLOSURE)
Shoulder closure on Piilani Highway (Route 31), in the northbound direction, in the vicinity of East Waipuilani Road, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice for construction of a new intersection for Maui Research & Technology Park residential subdivision. — HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 36/360) —
1) KAHULUI TO KUAU
Roving single lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36), in either direction, between mile marker 0.19 and 8.3, in the vicinity of Hobron Avenue to Holomua Road, from Wednesday, April 29 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for storm drain cleaning.
2) SPRECKELSVILLE
Single lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36), in the eastbound direction, between mile marker 4.6 and 5, in the vicinity of Alakapa Place to Nonohe Place, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for tree and hedge trimming. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with a lane shift.
3) HUELO (NIGHTWORK)
Full road closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in both directions, between mile marker 3 and 4, in the vicinity of East Waipio Road and Door of Faith Road, from 10 p.m. on Thursday, April 30 to 12 a.m., Friday, May 1, for HECO work. 4) HUELO TO KAILUA (NIGHT WORK)
Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in either direction, between mile marker 3 and 6, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 12:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., for weed control spot spraying, weather permitting.
- Spot spraying for Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28 has been canceled.
5) WAIKAMOI TO HONOMANU (NIGHT WORK)
Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in either direction, between mile marker 10 and 13, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 12:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., for weed control spot spraying, weather permitting.

6) HONOMANU TO WAILUA
Roving single lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in either direction, between mile marker 12 and 19 from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail landscaping.
7) HONOMANU (NIGHT WORK)
Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in either direction, between mile marker 13.5 and 16.2 from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 12:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., for weed control spot spraying, weather permitting.
- Spot spraying for Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28 has been canceled.
8) WAILUA (NIGHT WORK)
Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in either direction, between mile marker 18 and 20, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 12:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., for weed control spot spraying, weather permitting.

Shoulder closure on Kula Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 9.8 and 10, at the intersection with Omaopio Road, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice for intersection improvements. 2) KULA
Roving single lane closure on Kula Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 9.8 and 10, at the intersection with Omaopio Road, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for intersection work. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane. The westbound lane on the county’s Omaopio Road mauka of the intersection will also be closed during working hours for shoulder work. Lane shift on Kula Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 10.9 and 11.1, in the vicinity of Hanipala Place, on Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for guardrail repair.
4) WAIOHULI
Single lane closure on Kula Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 15 and 15.2, in the vicinity of Polipoli Road and Lepelepe Place, on Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for guardrail repair.
5) WAIOHULI
Single lane closure on Kula Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 15.3 and 15.4, in the vicinity of Lauie Drive and Malia Ukli Place, on Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for guardrail repair.
— HALEAKALA HIGHWAY/KEKAULIKE AVENUE (ROUTE 377) —
1) KULA
Single lane closure on Haleakala Highway (Route 377), in the northbound direction, between mile marker 2 and 2.5, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for emergency guardrail repair. Traffic will alternated in the open lane.
2) KULA
Single lane closure on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377), in the southbound direction, between mile marker 7.8 and 8.2, in the vicinity of Waiakoa Road and Alae Road, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for emergency guardrail repair. Traffic will maintained in both directions with a lane shift.
3) KULA
Roving single lane closure on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377), in the northbound direction, between mile marker 8 and 8.5, in the vicinity of Waiakoa Road and Waipoli Road, from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree removal. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane.
