Special Provisions for 1994 Standard Specifications
The Special Provisions contains the latest revisions to the 1994 Standard Specifications used in developing the project specifications.
There are six categories of the Special Provisions available depending on the type of funding being used. For example, if the funding is being shared between the State and Federal governments, then use the “DOT/FEDERAL PROJECTS” to develop the project specifications.
The Technical Provisions (Divisions 200 – 600) that are dated after 11/01/04 are for projects that have not developed project specs yet as of 11/01/04. Any project specifications developed before 11/01/04, leave as is.
It is not required to make the Technical Provisions Project Specific unless changes are necessary to fit your project.
