Maui Christmas Parade to temporarily close parts of High Street, Main Street on First Friday

KAHULUI – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) informs the travelling public that the County of Maui Christmas parade from the County Building to Market Street will temporarily close parts of state routes, High Street (Route 30) and Main Street (Route 32). The closures for the parade will take place on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The parade begins at the front lawn of the County Building at High Street and Wells Street at 5:45 p.m. It proceeds north on High Street, then travels east on Main Street and ends at Market Street (which will be closed for “First Friday”).

Both directions along the parade route will be closed to motorists. Portable electronic signs have been posted in the area to alert drivers of the temporary lane closures.
