Kauai Lane Closures

FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 2 – JULY 8

PLEASE NOTE:

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

There will be no daytime roadwork scheduled on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day, unless permitted. Kuhio Highway special use lanes will not be operational.

KAUMUALII HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

1) KOLOA

Right lane closure of Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction between mile markers 5.7 and 9.2, Kahili Road and Upa Road, on Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, July 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for grass trimming and shoulder work.

 

— KUHIO HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

1) WAILUA (NIGHT WORK)

Two-lane closure of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction between mile markers 5.6 and 6.7, Leho Drive and Kapaa Bypass, on Tuesday evening, July 5 through Friday morning, July 8, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for road widening.

2) PRINCEVILLE (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction between mile markers 3.4 and 3.9, Kumu Road and Waipa Stream, on Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, July 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree trimming and grass cutting.

 

— KUAMOO ROAD (ROUTE 580) —

1)  WAILUA

Right lane closure on Kuamoo Road (Route 580) possible in either direction between mile markers 0 and 4.5, Wailua Road and Aina Pono Street, on Tuesday, July  5 through Friday, July 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree trimming and grass cutting.
