Maui Lane Closures

—SOUTH HIGH STREET/HONOAPIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —

  

1) WAILUKU

Right lane closure on South High Street (Route 30), in the northbound direction, between mile marker 0 and 0.01, in the vicinity of North High Street and Main Street, from Wednesday, July 31 to Friday, Aug. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for tree crown raising. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with a lane shift.

 

2) WAILUKU

Right lane closure on South High Street (Route 30), in the northbound direction, between mile marker 0.11 and 0.29, in the vicinity of Aupuni Street and Malako Street, fronting Wailuku Elementary School, on Friday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for utility pole replacement. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with a lane shift.

 

3) MAALAEA/PAPALAUA WAYSIDE PARK

Shoulder closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in the eastbound direction, between mile marker 7 and 10, in the vicinity of McGregor Point to Papalaua Wayside Park, on Monday, July 29 to Friday, August 2, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for guardrail installation and shoulder improvements.

 

4) LAHAINA

Right shoulder closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in the southbound direction, between mile marker 21.4 and 21.5, near the entrance of Lahaina Cannery Mall at Keawe Street, on Monday, July 29 to Friday, Aug. 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to install a new pedestrian sidewalk.

 

5) LAHAINA

Left lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in the northbound direction, between mile marker 20.49 and 20.77, between Prison Street and Dickenson Street, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice in preparation for upcoming drain line replacement work.

 

PIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 31) —

 

1) KIHEI

Right shoulder closure on Piilani Highway (Route 31), in the northbound direction, between mile marker 2.5 and 2.6 in the vicinity of Piikea Avenue on Monday, July 29 to Friday, Aug. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to install a new traffic signal pole and base.

 

  

— HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 36/360) —

  

1) HANA

Intermittent road closure on Hana Highway (Route 360) in both directions, between mile marker 15 and 15.5, in the vicinity of Nuaailua Bay, from Monday, July 29 to Friday, Aug. 2, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for emergency rock scaling. There will be short holds of traffic for approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

 

 

— HALEAKALA HIGHWAY/KEKAULIKE AVENUE (ROUTE 377) —

  

1) KULA

Right lane closure on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377) in the eastbound direction, at mile marker 6 and 6.5, on Monday, July 29 to Friday, Aug. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for HECO tree trimming. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with a lane shift.

 

 

2) KULA (24/7 CLOSURE)

Right lane closure on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377) in the southbound direction, in the vicinity of Alae Road and Waiakoa Road, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice due to eroded embankment.

 

— LAHAINA BYPASS (ROUTE 3000) —

 

 1) LAHAINA

Lane shift and shoulder closure on Lahaina Bypass (Route 3000) in both directions, between mile marker 4.962 and 4.972, from Monday, July 29 to Friday, Aug. 2, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for permitted utility installation and associated work for the Kaiāulu o Kūkuʻia master-planned community. Travel lanes will remain open.

2) LAHAINA (NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Keawe Street, in the northbound lane (heading makai), between Lahaina Bypass (Route 3000) and Kupuohi Street, from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., the next day, beginning Monday night, July 29 to Friday morning, Aug. 2, for a concrete patch installation. Work is necessary for the Kaiāulu o Kūkuʻia master-planned community. Traffic in both directions will be maintained through alternating lane control (contraflow) in the remaining lane.

— PUUNENE AVENUE (ROUTE 3500) —

 

1) KAHULUI

Right lane closure on Puunene Avenue (Route 3500), in the northbound direction, between mile marker 0.85 and 1.085, in the vicinity of West Papa Avenue to Kuihelani Highway, on Wednesday, July 31 to Friday, Aug. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for tree crown raising.
