Maui Lane Closures

FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 6 – JUNE 12

PLEASE NOTE:

There will be no lane closures on Thursday, June 11 in observance of the King Kamehameha I Day holiday, unless permitted. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. — SOUTH HIGH STREET/HONOAPIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —

 

 

1) WAILUKU

Roving single lane closure on South High Street (Route 30) in the northbound direction, between mile marker 0.32 and 0.53, in the vicinity of Keanu Street and Kahookele Street from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10 and Friday, June 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for tree crown raising. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane.

 

2) WAIKAPU

Roving single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in either direction, between mile marker 2.6 and 3.8 in the vicinity of Maui Tropical Plantation and Waihuali Street, from Monday, June 8 and Wednesday, June 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for tree crown raising. Traffic will be maintained with a lane shift.

 

3) LAHAINA (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction, between mile marker 19 and 20, in the vicinity of Puamana Beach Park to Lahaina Recreation Center on Saturday, June 6 and from Monday, June 8 to Friday, June 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for HECO pole work. 4) LAHAINA

Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between mile marker 19.9 and 20.9 in the vicinity of Lahainaluna Road and Aholo Road, from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for drain line work. One lane will remain open for through traffic.

 

5) LAHAINA (24/7 CLOSURE)  

Left lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction between mile marker 20.5 and 20.8 in the vicinity of Prison Street and Dickenson Street, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, for drain line replacement work. 6) LAHAINA

Two lanes closed on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in either direction at mile marker 21.20 to 21.22, from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for drain line work. Traffic in both directions will be maintained in the open lanes.

 

7) LAHAINA

Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction between mile marker 21.30 and 21.40 in the vicinity of Hinau Street and Kenui Street, from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for drain line work. One lane will remain open for through traffic.

 

8) WAHIKULI

Roving single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in either direction between mile markers 22 and 22.8 in the vicinity of Fleming Road and Leialii Parkway, from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10 and on Friday, June 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail replacement. 9) KAPALUA TO KAHAKULOA (WEEKEND)    

Shoulder closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the eastbound bound direction between mile marker 31 and 41.6 in the vicinity of Honokahua Bay to Kahakuloa Village, on Saturday, June 6, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. for the Kahakuloa Half Marathon. — PIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 31) —

 

1) KIHEI (24/7 CLOSURE)

Shoulder closure on Piilani Highway (Route 31), in the northbound direction, in the vicinity of East Waipuilani Road, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice for construction of a new intersection for Maui Research & Technology Park residential subdivision. — HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 36/360) —

 

 

1) HOOKIPA TO HAIKU

Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 36), in either direction, in between mile marker 8.5 and 14, in the vicinity of Hookipa Beach Park and Hohoani Place, from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10 and on Friday, June 12 from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

 

2) HUELO TO KAILUA (NIGHT WORK)

Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in either direction, between mile marker 3 and 6, from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10 and on Friday, June 12 from 12:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. for weed control spot spraying, weather permitting.

  • There was no spot spraying on Monday, June 8. 
  • There was no spot spraying on Tuesday, June 9 and the spraying for Wednesday, June 10 has been canceled. 

 

3) WAIKAMOI TO HONOMANU (NIGHT WORK)

Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in either direction, between mile marker 10 and 13, from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10 and on Friday, June 12 from 12:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., for weed control spot spraying, weather permitting.

4) HONOMANU (NIGHT WORK)

Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in either direction, between mile marker 13.5 and 16.2 from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10 and on Friday, June 12 from 12:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., for weed control spot spraying, weather permitting.

Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 360), in either direction, between mile marker 26 and 30 from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10 and on Friday, June 12 from 12:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., for weed control spot spraying, weather permitting.

— HALEAKALA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 37) —

 

 

1) KEAHUA

Single lane closure on Haleakala Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 2.4 and 2.6, in the vicinity of Keahua Road, from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10 and on Friday, June 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for guardrail repair. Northbound traffic will be maintained in both lanes with a lane shift.

 

— KULA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 37) —

 

1) KULA (24/7 CLOSURE)

Shoulder closure on Kula Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 9.9 and 10, at the intersection with Omaopio Road, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice for intersection improvements. 2) KULA

Single lane closure on Kula Highway (Route 37), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 9.9 and 10, at the intersection with Omaopio Road, from Monday, June 8 to Tuesday, June 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for intersection improvements. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane.

 

— CRATER ROAD (ROUTE 378) —

 

1) KULA

Single lane closure on Crater Road (Route 378), in the northbound direction, between mile markers 2.5 and 2.75, from Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10 and on Friday, June 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for guardrail repair. Traffic will be alternated in the open lane.
