OAHU

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Nuuanu Avenue overpass and Liliha Street overpass on Saturday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Sept. 20, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

2) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Liliha Street overpass on Saturday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Sept. 20, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Punchbowl Street onramp and the Palama Street offramp (Exit 20C) on Sunday night, Sept. 15, through Friday morning, Sept. 20, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. The School Street onramp to the H-1 Freeway westbound will also be closed.

 

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Liliha Street overpass and the Palama Street overpass on Sunday night, Sept. 15, through Friday morning, Sept. 20, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

5) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two to three lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Halawa Heights/Stadium offramp (Exit 13B) and Radford Drive on Friday night, Sept. 13, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. for marking installations.

 

6) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Three lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Gulick Avenue overpass on Sunday night, Sept. 15, through Friday morning, Sept. 20, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for bridge work.

 

7) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Makakilo Drive overpass and the Campbell Industrial Park/Barbers Point Harbor offramp (Exit 1) on Sunday night, Sept. 15, through Friday morning, Sept. 20, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex Phase 2 project. Motorists will be directed to Makakilo/Kapolei/Kalaeloa offramp (Exit 2) as an alternate route.

8) WAIMALU TO AIEA (WEEKEND WORK)

Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Pearlridge/Waimalu offramp (Exit 10) and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., for shoulder widening work.

1) MILILANI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closures on the H-2 Freeway in the northbound direction between Ka Uka Boulevard and Meheula Parkway on Sunday night, Sept. 15, through Friday morning, Sept. 20, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for expansion joint replacements.

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTES 93/930) —

1) MAKAHA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in both directions between Kili Drive and Hakimo Road on Sunday night, Sept. 15, through Friday morning, Sept. 20, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for striping work as part of the Farrington Hwy Resurfacing, Phase II from Hakimo Road to Kili Drive project. Traffic will be contraflowed.

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY (ROUTES 61/72) —

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between East Hind Drive and Laukahi Street on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., for structural maintenance.

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY (ROUTE 92) —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) in both directions between Libby Street and Alakawa Street on Sunday night, Sept. 15, through Friday morning, Sept. 20, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., for sewer work.

 

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closures on the Dillingham Boulevard offramp from Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for deck repairs.

 

— PALI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 61) —

1) NUUANU TO KANEOHE (WEEKEND AND WEEKLY CLOSURE)
Closure of the Pali Highway (Route 61) in both directions between Waokanaka Street and Kamehameha Highway for slope stabilization. Access to the Pali Highway is as follows:

Sundays through Fridays

  • Both directions will be open from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.

2) NUUANU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Pali Highway (Route 61) in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Wylie Street overpass and Pauoa Road offramp on Sunday night, Sept. 15, through Friday morning, Sept. 20, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project. One lane will be tentatively closed from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. Detour signs to Wylie Street and Nuuanu Avenue will be posted.

3) NUUANU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on the Pali Highway (Route 61) in the Kailua-bound direction between the Pauoa Road underpass and Wylie Street overpass on Sunday night, Sept. 15, through Friday morning, Sept. 20, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project. One lane will be tentatively closed from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m.

4) NUUANU (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane and frontage road on the Pali Highway (Route 61) in the Kailua-bound direction between Dowsett Avenue and Nuuanu Pali Drive on Monday, Sept. 16, through Friday, Sept. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sewer work.

 

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closure on Ala Moana Boulevard in both directions in the vicinity of Bishop Street on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., for electrical maintenance.

 

— JARRETT WHITE ROAD —

1) MOANALUA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Jarrett White Road in the southbound direction between Tripler Hospital and Puuloa Road on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass trimming.

 

—PUULOA ROAD —

1) MOANALUA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Puuloa Road in the southbound direction between Jarrett White Road and Nimitz Highway on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass trimming.

 

 — KALIHI STREET (ROUTE 63) —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane and sidewalk closure on Kalihi Street (Route 63) in the northbound direction between Dillingham Boulevard and King Street on Friday night, Sept. 13, through Friday night, Sept. 20, for the Kalihi Street Resurfacing project.

  • Sidewalk will be closed continuously from 7 p.m. on Friday night, through 7 p.m. on Sunday night.
  • Right lane will be closed on Saturday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Right lane will be closed on Friday night through Sunday night from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight.
  • Right lane will be closed on Monday night through Friday morning from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

 

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (SIDEWALK AND BIKE PATH CLOSURE)

The west shared use walkway and bike path are closed on Middle Street between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, Sept. 13, through Friday night, Sept. 20, over a 24-hour period, for the Middle Street pavement reconstruction project. Pedestrians are directed to use the east sidewalk.

 

KAUAI

— KAUMUALII HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

1) HANAPEPE (24-HOUR CLOSURE)

The Hanapepe River Bridge on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) between Puolo Road and Iona Road will be closed, and traffic will be shifted to the adjacent temporary bridge over a twenty-four-hour period, seven days a week. Speed limit is reduced to 25 mph.

 

2) KOLOA (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure and shifts on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the northbound direction between Omao Road and Maluhia Road on Sunday, Sept. 15, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., for tree trimming.

 

MAUI  

— HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTES 36/360) —

1) WAILUA (24-HOUR WORK)

Lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36) in the northbound direction in the vicinity of Wailua Valley State Wayside Park on Saturday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Sept. 20 over a 24-hour period, for utility installation work.

 

— LAHAINA BYPASS (ROUTE 3000) 

1) LAHAINA (WEEKEND WORK)

Construction scheduled on Lahaina Bypass (Route 3000) in both directions at the Kai Hele Ku Street intersection on Friday, Sept. 13, through Friday, Sept. 20, for inspection of the Lahaina Bypass. No lanes are closed but an increase in activity will occur at the intersection and at driveways along Kai Hele Ku Street.

 

HAWAII ISLAND

— DANIEL K. INOUYE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 200) — 

1) NORTH HILO (24-HOUR CLOSURE)

Shoulders are closed on the Daniel K. Inouye Highway (Route 200) in both directions at the Mauna Kea Access Road intersection, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Exercise caution when traveling through the area. 

— MAUNA KEA ACCESS ROAD (ROUTE 210) —

1) NORTH HILO (24-HOUR CLOSURE)

Mauna Kea Access Road (Route 210) is closed in both directions at the Daniel K. Inouye Highway intersection, over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week.

LANAI

No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Lanai.

MOLOKAI

No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Molokai.
