HONOLULU – The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists of a single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Papailoa Road and Pokahu Loa Way on Tuesday, September 2, through Wednesday, September 3, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for maintenance on the Lauhulu Stream Bridge. Traffic will be contraflowed through the work zone area and flagmen will be employed to keep traffic moving.

The DOT urges drivers to allow for extra travel time, to adhere to reduced speed limits, and to drive safely through the work zone area.
