OAHU

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) KAHALA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure of the H-1 Freeway Waialae Off-Ramp (Exit 26B) in the eastbound direction on Saturday, May 30, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. for utility installations.

2) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, May 31, through Friday morning, June 5, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

  • Three right eastbound lanes closed 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

3) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) from 10:30 p.m. on Friday, May 29, through 12:01 a.m. Monday morning, June 1. All ramps will remain open.

Speed limits will be reduced to 15 mph in order to minimize traffic induced vibrations that may lead to cracking in the newly repaired deck.  Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

4) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure of the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Sunday night, May 31, through Friday morning, June 5, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

 — FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and Waiawa Road on Sunday night, May 31, through Friday morning, June 5, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

Full closure of the Farrington Highway eastbound on-ramp to the H-2 Freeway in the northbound direction on Sunday, May 31, through Friday morning, June 5, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for the rail project.

 — KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) KAILUA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the southbound direction between Keolu Drive and Old Kalanianaole Road on Saturday, May 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for tree trimming.

 

 — KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Honolulu Rail Transit will be working on Kamehameha Highway this week at various locations.

  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Waiawa Road and Acacia Road.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Acacia Road and Waimano Home Road.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Lipoa Place and Pali Momi Street.
  • Lane closures in the westbound direction between Pali Momi Street and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday.
  • Lane closures in both directions between Puu Poni Street and Kaonohi Street, Monday through Friday.
  • Lane closures in the westbound direction between Salt Lake Boulevard and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday.

 — NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Aolele Street and Elliott Street from 10:30 p.m. Friday, May 29, through 12:01 a.m.. Monday morning, June 1, as a safety precaution due to deck repairs happening above.

 

 — MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, May 29, through Saturday morning, May 30, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project.

 

 — LEILEHUA ROAD —

1) WAIPIO ACRES (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Leilehua Road in both directions between Wikao Street and Kamehameha Highway on Sunday, May 31, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for pavement striping installations.

MAUI

— OLD HALEAKALA HIGHWAY —

1) KAHULUI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour lane shifts on Old Haleakala Highway in both directions between Aalele Street and Kala Road on Friday, May 29, through Friday, June 5, for roadway construction. Motorists are advised to follow all traffic control signs and drive with caution through the work zone. Flaggers will be stationed at the site to direct motorists through the area.

 

 —HANA HIGHWAY—

1) PAIA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane shifts on Hana Highway in both directions between Paia Mini Bypass Road and Baldwin Avenue, on Sunday night, May 31, through Friday morning, June 5, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for utility installations.


KAUAI

— KAUMUALII HIGHWAY —

1) PUHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the eastbound direction between Halfway Bridge and Kipu Road on Sunday night, May 31, through Friday morning, June 5, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for road repaving. Traffic will be contraflowed through the remaining open lane.  Motorists are advised to expect delays.


— KUHIO HIGHWAY —

1) WAILUA (WEEKEND)

Traffic signal work on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) at the Haleilio Road Intersection on Sunday, May 31, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.  During this time, the signal will be turned off and flaggers will be present.  Motorists are advised to use caution.


BIG ISLAND
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on the Big Island.

LANAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Lanai.

MOLOKAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Molokai.
