— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from 8 p.m. Saturday night, Apr. 25, through 6 p.m., Sunday, Apr. 26, for deck widening.

  • Three right lanes closed from 8 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 25, through 10 a.m., Sunday morning, Apr. 26
  • Two right lanes closed Sunday, Apr. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • One right lane closed Sunday, Apr. 26, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

2) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Three left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) and the H-1/H-2 Split from 11 p.m, Saturday night, Apr. 25, through 9 a.m. Sunday morning, Apr. 26, for striping work.

3) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) and the H-1/H-2 Split from 8 p.m., on Sunday night, Apr. 26, through 4:30 a.m., Monday morning, Apr. 27, for striping work.

  • Two left lanes closed Sunday, Apr. 26, from 8 p.m. through 11 p.m.
  • Three left lanes closed from 11 p.m., Sunday, Apr. 26, through 4:30 a.m. Monday morning, Apr. 27

4) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Three left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, Apr. 26, through Friday morning, May 1, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

  • Three left lanes closed in the eastbound direction from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Three left lanes closed in the westbound direction from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

5) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) from 9 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 24, through 12:01 a.m. on Monday morning, Apr. 27. All ramps will remain open.

Speed limits will be reduced to 15 mph in order to minimize traffic induced vibrations that may lead to cracking in the newly repaired deck.  Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND WORK)

2) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and Waiawa Road on Sunday, Apr. 26, through Friday morning, May 1, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly, for the rail project.

3) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on the Farrington Highway eastbound on-ramp to the H-2 Freeway in the northbound direction on Sunday, Apr. 26, through Friday morning, May 1, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the rail project.

 — KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) WAIMANALO (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the Kailua-bound direction between Aloiloi Street and Saddle City Road on Saturday, Apr. 25, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tree trimming.

 

 — KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) MILILANI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Waihau Street and Kuahelani Avenue on Friday, Apr. 24, through Wednesday, Apr. 29, for bus pad installations.

2) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Honolulu Rail Transit will be working on Kamehameha Highway this week at various locations.

  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Waiawa Road and Acacia Road.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Acacia Road and Waimano Home Road.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Lipoa Place and Pali Momi Street
  • Lane closures in both directions between Pali Momi Street and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday.
  • Lane closures in both directions between Puu Poni Street and Kaonohi Street, Monday through Friday.

 — NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) PEARL HARBOR (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between O’Malley Boulevard and Valkenburgh Street on Sunday night, Apr. 26, through Friday morning, May 1, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly, for pavement marking installations.

2) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Aolele Street and Elliott Street from 9 p.m. Friday, Apr. 24, through 12:01 a.m. Monday morning, Apr. 27, as a safety precaution due to deck repairs happening above.

 

 — PALI HIGHWAY —

1) NUUANU (WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closure on the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Pali Tunnels and Waokanaka Street on Saturday, Apr. 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for tree trimming.

 

 — ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Ala Moana Boulevard in the westbound direction between Koula Street and Punchbowl Street on Saturday, Apr. 25, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. for roadside maintenance.

 

 — WAIALAE AVENUE —

1) KAIMUKI (WEEKEND/NIGHTWORK)

Left lane closures on Waialae Avenue in both directions between Kapahulu Avenue and South King Street from 9 p.m., Friday night, Apr. 24, through 5 a.m. Saturday morning, Apr. 25, for striping and road maintenance.

MAUI

—HANA HIGHWAY—

1) PAIA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Hana Highway in the westbound direction between Kulani Place and Lae Place, on Sunday, Apr. 26, through Friday morning, May 1, from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly, for sewage improvements.

 

KAUAI

— KAUMUALII HIGHWAY —

1) PUHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the eastbound direction between Halfway Bridge and Kipu Road, on Sunday night, Apr. 26, through Friday morning, May 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for road repaving. Traffic will be contraflowed through the remaining open lane.  Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

 — KUHIO HIGHWAY —

1) KILAUEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) in both directions between Anini Vista Drive and Kahiliholo Road on Sunday, Apr. 26, through Friday morning, May 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for tree cutting and removal operations. Lanes will be narrowed. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

 

 BIG ISLAND
