OAHU

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Multiple lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) and the Waikele/Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 7) on Sunday night, Mar. 29, through Friday morning, Apr. 3, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for paving and striping work.

Sunday-Friday

  • One lane closed between the H-1/H-2 Split and the Waikele/Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 7), from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
    • Two lanes closed from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

2) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction from the H-1/H-2 Split to the Waipahu Street Overpass on Saturday, Mar. 28, from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. for pavement striping.

3) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the H-1/H-2 Merge between the Waipahu Street Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, Mar. 29, through Friday morning, Apr. 3, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

4) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) from 9 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 27, through 12:01 a.m. on Monday morning, Mar. 30. All ramps will remain open.

Speed limits will be reduced to 15 mph in order to minimize traffic induced vibrations that may lead to cracking in the newly repaired deck.

Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

5) KALIHI (WEEKEND WORK)

Full closure of the Palama Street Off-Ramp (Exit 20C) of the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Saturday, Mar. 28, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for road maintenance.

H-1 Freeway westbound motorists are advised to use either the School Street Off-Ramp (Exit 21A) or the Houghtailing Street Off-Ramp (Exit 20B) to access the Kalihi/Palama area.

 

— H-2 FREEWAY —

1) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on the H-2 Freeway On-Ramp from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waipahu Street Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, Mar. 29, through Friday morning, Apr. 3, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) MAKAHA (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Makua Valley Road and Satellite Tracking Station Road on Saturday, Mar. 28, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for roadside maintenance.

 

— KAHEKILI HIGHWAY —

1) HEEIA (WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closure on Kahekili Highway in the northbound direction between Kahuhipa Street and Haiku Road on Saturday, Mar. 28, from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. for landscape maintenance.

 

 — KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure of the Kamehameha Highway On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Saturday, Mar. 28, from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. and Monday, Mar. 30, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for road repairs and striping installations.

2) MILILANI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Lanikuhana Avenue and Waihau Street on Saturday, Mar. 28, through Friday, Apr. 3, for bus pad installations.

 

 — NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Catlin Drive and Aolele Street from 9 p.m. Friday, Mar. 27, through 12:01 a.m. Monday morning, Mar. 30, as a safety precaution due to deck repairs happening above.

 

 — PUNCHBOWL STREET —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Punchbowl Street in both directions between Vineyard Boulevard and the H-1 Freeway on Sunday, Mar. 29, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for road striping installations. See below for lane closure details.

  1. Full closure of H-1 Freeway eastbound Punchbowl Street Off-Ramp (Exit 21B).
  2. Full closure of the Punchbowl Street on-ramp to the H-1 Freeway westbound.

 

MAUI

— WAIEHU BEACH ROAD —

1) WAILUKU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Waiehu Beach Road in the westbound direction between Ukali Street and Kukona Place from 8 p.m. Friday, Mar. 27, continuously through 5 a.m. Monday, Mar. 30, for bridge widening and concrete deck pours. Traffic will alternate in the eastbound lane.

KAUAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Kauai.

 BIG ISLAND
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on the Big Island.

LANAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Lanai.

MOLOKAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Molokai.
