OAHU

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Pali Highway Overpass and Ainakoa Avenue on Sunday night, Jan. 22, through Friday morning, Jan. 27, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., nightly, for pavement marking installations.

 

2) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions at the Makakilo Drive Overpass on Sunday night, Jan. 22, through Friday morning, Jan. 27, for The Rail project.

  • Westbound lanes closed from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Eastbound lanes closed from 10 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.

3) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) and the Military Access Road Overpass on Sunday night, Jan. 22, through Friday morning, Jan. 27, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., nightly, for pavement marking installations.

 

 — H-3 FREEWAY —

1) HALAWA (WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction in the vicinity of the Halawa Interchange on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

2) KANEOHE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the H-3 Freeway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Underpass and the Halawa Interchange from 7 p.m. on Saturday night, Jan. 21, through 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, Jan. 22, for routine tunnel maintenance.

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in both directions between Kahualii Street and the Kamehameha Highway Overpass on Saturday, Jan. 21, and Monday, Jan. 23, through Friday, Jan. 27, for The Rail project.

  • Westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday’s eastbound lane closure will reopen at 5:30 p.m.

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in the eastbound direction between Arizona Street and Center Drive on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., for The Rail project.

Closure of Likelike Highway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between Nalanieha Street and Kahekili Highway on Sunday night, Jan. 22, through Friday morning, Jan. 27, from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., nightly, for tunnel lighting replacements.

 

 — NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

Left lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Sand Island Access Road and Kakoi Street on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., for electrical maintenance.

Right lane closure on the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Pali Tunnel and Nuuanu Pali Drive on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

Lane closures on Salt Lake Boulevard in the westbound direction at the Kamehameha Highway Intersection on Friday night, Jan. 20, through Saturday morning, Jan. 21, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for The Rail project.

— HALONA STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24/7 closure of Halona Street between Kokea Street and Kohou Street at the Halona Street Bridge beginning Friday, Jan. 20, for bridge replacement work. The bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic and open to pedestrians and bicyclists. Traffic will be detoured around the closure.

 

 — MCCULLY STREET —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on McCully Street in both directions between South Beretania Street and Bingham Street on Friday night, Jan. 20, through Saturday morning, Jan. 21, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., for maintenance work.

 

KAUAI

— KAUMUALII HIGHWAY —

1) KALAHEO (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the eastbound direction between Hokua Road and Lauoho Road on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for tree trimming. Traffic will be contraflowed. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

2) LAWAI (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the westbound direction between Upa Road and Piko Road on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 7 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for tree trimming. Traffic will be contraflowed through the open lane. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

3) OMAO (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the Lihue-bound direction between Punee Road and Kahili Road on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., for tree trimming.

 

 — KUHIO HIGHWAY —

1) WAILUA (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closures on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between Kuamoo Road and Leho Drive on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., for utility repairs. Traffic will be contraflowed in the northbound lane.

 MAUI

— HALEAKALA HIGHWAY —

1) MAKAWAO (WEEKEND WORK)  CANCELED

Lane closure on Haleakala Highway in both directions at the Haliimaile Road Intersection on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for utility installations.

 

BIG ISLAND

— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) HAKALAU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closures on Umauma Bridge in the vicinity of Hakalau (Route 19, Milepost 16) in both directions over a twenty-four hour period, seven days a week for bridge rehabilitation. Travel speed on Umauma Bridge is reduced to 20-mph, and vehicles that exceed statutory size-weight limits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis upon application of their respective oversize-overweight vehicle permits. Maximum width for any vehicle with permit passing over the bridge is 12 feet.


LANAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Lanai.

MOLOKAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Molokai.
