OAHU

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Gulick Avenue Overpass from 8:30 p.m. on Friday night, May 27, through 5 a.m., Saturday morning, May 28, for bridge maintenance work.

 

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY —

1) HALAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Partial closure of the H-201 Moanalua Freeway Off-Ramp to Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction on Friday, May 27, through Friday, June 3, over a 24-hour period for the rail project.

 — KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) HAWAII KAI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Hanauma Bay Road and Sandy Beach on Friday night, May 27, through Saturday morning, May 28, from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. for striping installations and sign and utility replacements. Motorists are advised to take Lunalilo Home Road, Hawaii Kai Drive, and Kealahou Street as an alternative route.

 

 — KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) KAAAWA (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Huamalani Road and Kualoa Regional Park on Saturday, May 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

2) PUPUKEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24/7 lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Ke Nui Road and Paumalu Place from Friday, May 27, through Friday, June 3, for bridge repair work. Traffic will be contraflowed through the open lane.

 

 — NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closures on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction at the Valkenburgh Street Intersection on Saturday, May 28, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for underground utility repairs.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between Puuloa Road and Sand Island Access Road on Saturday, May 28, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for electrical maintenance.

 

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Two right lanes closed on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between Pacific Street and Sumner Street on Saturday, May 28, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

 — PALI HIGHWAY —

1) MAUNAWILI TO NUUANU (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kamehameha Highway and Nuuanu Pali Drive on Saturday, May 28, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

 — MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, May 27, through Saturday morning, May 28, and Tuesday night, May 31, through Saturday morning, June 4, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed, and some turns may be restricted.

There may be a 24/7 lane closure in the northbound direction within the construction zone. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.

 

 — KEAHUMOA STREET —

1) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closures of Keahumoa Street near the Kroc Center in both directions on Saturday, May 28, over a twenty-four hour period, for the rail project.

KAUAI

— NAWILIWILI ROAD —

1) LIHUE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Nawiliwili Road in the eastbound direction between Kaumualii Highway and Kanani Street on Friday, May 27, through Friday, June 3, twenty-four hours a day, for highway reconstruction work. Traffic will be contraflowed. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

MAUI

— OLD HALEAKALA HIGHWAY —

1) KAHULUI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour lane shifts on Old Haleakala Highway in both directions between Aalele Street and Kala Road on Friday, May 27, through Friday, June 3, for roadway construction. Motorists are advised to follow all traffic control signs and drive with caution through the work zone. Flaggers will be stationed at the site to direct motorists through the area.

 

— HANA HIGHWAY —

1) HAIKU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Hana Highway in the eastbound direction between the Garden of Eden Arboretum and Keanae Road on Friday, May 27, through Friday, June 3, over a 24-hour period, for roadway improvements.

 

BIG ISLAND

— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) HAKALAU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closures on Umauma Bridge in the vicinity of Hakalau (Route 19, Milepost 16) in both directions over a twenty-four hour period, seven days a week for bridge rehabilitation. Travel speed on Umauma Bridge is reduced to 20-mph, and vehicles that exceed statutory size-weight limits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis upon application of their respective oversize-overweight vehicle permits. Maximum width for any vehicle with permit passing over the bridge is 12 feet.

 

LANAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Lanai.

MOLOKAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Molokai.
