OAHU

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Closure of the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Closure of the Nimitz Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 18) to Kakoi Street from the westbound H-1 Freeway on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

3) HONOLULU TO PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two to three left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between Zipper Hale and the H-1/H-2 Split on Sunday night, Oct. 2, through Friday morning, Oct. 7, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for restriping of the Zipper lane.

4) HONOLULU TO PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Three left lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the H-1/H-2 Split, nightly, for zipper barrier replacements.

  • Lanes will be closed on Sunday night, Oct. 2, through Monday morning, Oct. 3, from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
  • Lanes will be closed on Monday night, Oct. 3, through Friday morning, Oct. 7, from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.

5) KUNIA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Kunia Road Off-Ramp (Exit 5B) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Sunday night, Oct. 2, through Friday morning, Oct. 7, nightly, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for maintenance work.

6) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to four lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Kaahumanu Street Overpass and the H-1/H-2 Split on Friday night, Sept. 30, through Saturday morning, Oct. 1, and Monday night, Oct. 3, through Friday morning, Oct. 7, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for The Rail project.

Up to four lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Kaahumanu Street Overpass on Friday night, Sept. 30, through Saturday morning, Oct. 1, and Monday night, Oct. 3, through Friday morning, Oct. 7, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., nightly, for The Rail project.

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Nanakuli Avenue and Haleakala Avenue on Sunday night, Oct. 2, through Friday morning, Oct. 7, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for concrete barrier installations.

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) HALAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction between Kalaloa Street and Salt Lake Boulevard, from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m., for The Rail project.

Roving closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Puula Road and Comsat Road on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

— PALI HIGHWAY —

1) NUUANU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Castle Junction and Waokanaka Street on Sunday night, Oct. 2, through Friday morning, Oct. 7, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for Pali Tunnel lighting replacement.

 

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Ala Moana Boulevard in the westbound direction between Atkinson Drive and Piikoi Street on Tuesday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Wednesday, Oct. 5, for crane removals.

  • Right lane will be closed 24/7.
  • Center lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., weekdays.
  • One lane will be contraflowed in the eastbound direction from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., weekdays.

 

— KUALAKAI PARKWAY —

1) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Kualakai Parkway in the southbound direction between Farrington Highway and the University of Hawaii West Oahu on Friday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 7, over a 24-hour period, for The Rail project.

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, Sept. 30, through Saturday morning, Oct. 1, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed, and some turns may be restricted.

There may be a 24/7 lane closure in the northbound direction within the construction zone. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.

 

KAUAI

— KAUMUALII HIGHWAY —

1) KALAHEO (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway in the eastbound direction between Hokua Road and Lauoho Road on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for tree trimming. Traffic will be contraflowed. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

2) KOLOA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in both directions between Maluhia Road and Cane Road on Sunday night, Oct. 2, through Friday morning, Oct. 7, from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., nightly, for resurfacing work. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

3) LAWAI (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the westbound direction between Upa Road and Piko Road on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 7 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for tree trimming. Traffic will be contraflowed through the open lane. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

4) WAIMEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in both directions between Waimea Canyon Drive and Waimea River Bridge on Sunday night, Oct. 2, through Friday morning, Oct. 7, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for resurfacing work. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

MAUI

— HANA HIGHWAY —

1) HAIKU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24/7 lane closure on Hana Highway in the vicinity of Mile Marker 13, on Friday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 7, for slope stabilization work. Traffic will be contraflowed through the open lane.

2) HAIKU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Hana Highway in the eastbound direction between the Garden of Eden Arboretum and Keanae Road on Friday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 7, over a 24-hour period, for roadway improvements.

— KUIHELANI HIGHWAY —

1) KAHULUI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Kuihelani Highway in the northbound direction between Honoapiilani Highway and Puunene Avenue on Friday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 7, over a 24-hour period, for paving work.

 

— KAAHUMANU AVENUE —

1) KAHULUI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kaahumanu Avenue in the westbound direction between Hana Highway and Kahului Beach Road on Friday night, Sept. 30, through Saturday morning, Oct. 1, and on Tuesday night, Oct. 4, through Saturday morning, Oct. 8, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for utility installations.

 

BIG ISLAND

— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) HAKALAU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closures on Umauma Bridge in the vicinity of Hakalau (Route 19, Milepost 16) in both directions over a twenty-four hour period, seven days a week for bridge rehabilitation. Travel speed on Umauma Bridge is reduced to 20-mph, and vehicles that exceed statutory size-weight limits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis upon application of their respective oversize-overweight vehicle permits. Maximum width for any vehicle with permit passing over the bridge is 12 feet.

 

LANAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Lanai.

MOLOKAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Molokai.
