OAHU

 

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (NIGHT/WEEKEND WORK)

Full closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between Ward Avenue Overpass and Middle Street on Sunday night July 20, through Friday morning, July 25, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for the H-1 Rehabilitation Project.

The H-1 Rehabilitation project will upgrade the freeway sub-surface and asphalt to provide a longer-lasting, smooth riding surface, provide an additional lane in each direction, install upgraded lighting, improve drainage, and install glare screens along the median.

 

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Partial closures of the Pali Highway Off-Ramp, the Kalihi On-Ramp and the Punchbowl On-Ramp on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Saturday, July 19 through Sunday, July 20, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m, daily,

3) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND WORK)

Two right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B), on Sunday, July 20, from 3 a.m. to 12 p.m., for viaduct deck repairs.

 

4) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Radford Drive Overpass and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) from 9 p.m., Friday, July 18, through 4 a.m., Monday, July 21, for deck repairs.

Speed limits will be reduced to 15 mph in order to minimize traffic induced vibrations that may lead to cracking or delaminations in the newly repaired deck.

Full closure on Nimitz Highway at the intersection of Valkenburgh Street and Nimitz Highway from 9 p.m., Friday, July 18, through 9 a.m., Sunday, July 20, due to deck repairs happening above. Left turns at the intersection will not be permitted.  Traffic will be detoured.

Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

 

— H-2 FREEWAY —

1) WAIPIO (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-2 Freeway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Ka Uka Boulevard Off-Ramp (Exit 2) and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday, July 20, through Thursday, July 24, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the rail project.

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between Elliott Street and Aolele Street on Friday night, July 18, through Monday morning, July 21, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. as a safety precaution due to deck repairs happening above.

 

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure on Nimitz Highway at the intersection of Valkenburgh Street and Nimitz Highway from 9 p.m., Friday, July 18, through 9 a.m., Sunday, July 20, due to deck repairs happening above.

 

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between Waiakamilo Road and Smith Street on Sunday, July 20, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. for the Rail Project.

 

 

— PALI HIGHWAY —

1) NUUANU (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on the Pali Highway in the southbound direction between the tunnels and Waokanaka Street on Saturday, July 19, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., for road maintenance.

 

2) NUUANU (WEEKEND WORK)       

Left lane closure on Pali Highway in the eastbound direction between School Street and Pauoa Road on Saturday, July 19, from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., for utility maintenance.

 

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

1) KAKAAKO (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

NIGHT WORK:

  • Lane closures on Ala Moana Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Cooke Street and Piikoi Street on Sunday, July 20, through Thursday morning, July 24, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for utility installations.

 

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Two lane closures on the Vineyard Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Queen Emma Street and Miller Street on Sunday, July 13, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., for repaving work.

KAUAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Kauai.

MAUI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Maui.

BIG ISLAND
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on the Big Island.

LANAI
