OAHU

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) AIEA TO PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Mahiko Pedestrian Overpass and the H-1/H-2 Split on Friday night, July 29, through Friday morning, Aug. 5, for restriping of the ZipperLane.

  • Friday night, July 29, through Sunday morning, July 31 – Two lanes closed from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and three lanes closed from 10:30 p.m. to 9 a.m., nightly.
  • Sunday night, July 31, through Friday morning, Aug. 5 – Two lanes closed from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and three lanes closed from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly.

 

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between Ainakoa Avenue and the Vineyard Boulevard Off-Ramp (Exit 22) on Saturday, July 30, from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) and the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A) on Saturday, July 30, from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Saturday, July 30, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

5) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to four left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Waiawa Road Overpass and the Kaahumanu Street Overpass on Friday night, July 29, through Saturday morning, July 30, and Monday night, Aug. 1, through Friday morning, Aug. 5, for the rail project.

  • Three left lanes closed from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Four left lanes closed from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Up to four left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Kaahumanu Street Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Friday night, July 29, through Saturday morning, July 30, and Monday night, Aug. 1, through Friday morning, Aug. 5, for the rail project.

  • Three left lanes closed from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Four left lanes closed from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Closure of the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Sunday night, July 31, through Friday morning, Aug. 5, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for pavement striping installations.

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Haleakala Avenue and Nanakuli Avenue on Friday night, July 29, through Saturday morning, July 30, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. for utility relocation.

 

2) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Waiawa Road and the Kamehameha Highway Overpass on Sunday night, July 31, through Friday morning, Aug. 5, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for pavement striping installations.

 

 — KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between West Hind Drive and Ainakoa Avenue on Friday night, July 29, through Saturday morning, July 30, from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. for maintenance work.

 

2) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the westbound direction between Halemaumau Street and Ainakoa Avenue on Friday night, July 29, through Saturday morning, July 30, from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. for maintenance work.

 

3) HAWAII KAI TO AINA HAINA (WEEKEND WORK)

Shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the westbound direction between Lunalilo Home Road and Ainakoa Avenue on Saturday, July 30, from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

4) MAUNAWILI TO WAIMANALO (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Kailua Road and Flamingo Street on Saturday, July 30, from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

 — KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) HALAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction between Kalaloa Street and Salt Lake Boulevard on Friday, July 29, through Friday, Aug. 5, over a 24-hour period, for the rail project.

 — LIKELIKE HIGHWAY —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Likelike Highway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between Makuahine Street and Wilson Street on Saturday, July 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

 — MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, July 29, through Saturday morning, July 30, and Monday night, Aug. 1, through Saturday morning, Aug. 6, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed, and some turns may be restricted.

There may be a 24/7 lane closure in the northbound direction within the construction zone. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.

 

 

KAUAI

— KAUMUALII HIGHWAY —

1) KALAHEO (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway in the eastbound direction between Hokua Road and Lauoho Road on Sunday, July 31, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for tree trimming. Traffic will be contraflowed. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

2) KOLOA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in both directions between Maluhia Road and Cane Road on Sunday night, July 31, through Friday morning, Aug. 5, from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., nightly, for resurfacing work. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

3) LAWAI (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the westbound direction between Upa Road and Piko Road on Sunday, July 31, from 7 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for tree trimming. Traffic will be contraflowed through the open lane. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

4) PUHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in both directions between Kipu Road and Kahili Road on Sunday night, July 31, through Friday morning, Aug. 5, from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., nightly, for road restriping. Traffic will be contra flowed through the remaining open lane. Motorists are advised to expect delays and drive with caution through the project zone.

 

5) WAIMEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in both directions between Waimea Canyon Drive and Waimea River Bridge on Sunday night, July 31, through Friday morning, Aug. 5, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for resurfacing work. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

— KAPULE HIGHWAY —

1) LIHUE (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kapule Highway (Route 51) in both directions between Rice Street and Kuhio Highway on Sunday, July 31, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., for the Annual Run/Walk Bicycling Fundraiser Event.

 

 — KUHIO HIGHWAY —

1) KILAUEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kuhio Highway in the southbound direction between Kapuna Road and South Koolau Road on Sunday night, July 31, through Friday morning, Aug. 5, from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., nightly, for resurfacing work.

 

 — NAWILIWILI ROAD —

1) LIHUE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Nawiliwili Road in the eastbound direction between Kaumualii Highway and Kanani Street on Friday, July 29, through Friday, Aug. 5, twenty-four hours a day, for highway reconstruction work. Traffic will be contraflowed. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

 

MAUI

— HANA HIGHWAY —

1) HAIKU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Hana Highway in the eastbound direction between the Garden of Eden Arboretum and Keanae Road on Friday, July 29, through Friday, Aug. 5, over a 24-hour period, for roadway improvements.

 

— KUIHELANI HIGHWAY —

1) KAHULUI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Kuihelani Highway in the northbound direction between Honoapiilani Highway and Puunene Avenue in the vicinity of Maui Lani Parkway on Friday, July 29, through Friday, Aug. 5, over a 24-hour period, for paving work.

 

 

BIG ISLAND

— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) HAKALAU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closures on Umauma Bridge in the vicinity of Hakalau (Route 19, Milepost 16) in both directions over a twenty-four hour period, seven days a week for bridge rehabilitation. Travel speed on Umauma Bridge is reduced to 20-mph, and vehicles that exceed statutory size-weight limits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis upon application of their respective oversize-overweight vehicle permits. Maximum width for any vehicle with permit passing over the bridge is 12 feet.

 

 

LANAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Lanai.

MOLOKAI
No weekend lane closures are currently scheduled on Molokai.
