HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) notifies Oahu motorists that the Campbell Industrial Park/Barbers Point Harbor offramp (Exit 1A) from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction will be closed from 10 p.m. on Tuesday, night, Sept. 17, 2019, through 4 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Sept. 18, 2019, for paving work, as part of the Kapolei Interchange Complex, Phase 2 project.

Eastbound motorists will be directed to the Makakilo/Kapolei/Kalaeloa offramp (Exit 1B) as an alternate route. To view a map of the detour route, please click here..

Electronic message boards will be posted to notify motorists of the closures and detour. Special Duty Police Officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control and safety procedures. Emergency vehicles, first responders, and TheBus have been notified of the roadwork and will not be allowed through the work zone.

HDOT reminds motorists to allow for extra travel time and to drive with caution when getting to their destinations.
