HONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation advises Honolulu residents of an expected increase in aircraft traffic over the area due to airfield maintenance work at the Honolulu International Airport.

Reef runway 8R-26L is being closed for pavement maintenance on Tuesday, September 16, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Flight patterns will be modified, resulting in increased air traffic over Downtown Honolulu.
