AGENDA
I. Call to Order, Roll Call
II. Old Business a. Action to approve the Draft Annual Report to the 2026 Legislature, allowing for non-substantive updates and edits, as provided by the Committee members by 2/4/2026. Once finalized, the report will be transmitted to the Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation for submission on behalf of the Safe Routes to School Advisory Committee.
b. Action to approve the dispersal of SRTS special fund monies to cover the 5% central services charge incurred by Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) in fiscal year (FY) 2025-2026, as required under HRS 36-27, estimated by HDOT to be $161,252.00.
c. Update on the SRTS Special Fund Status.

V. New Business
a. Discussion on approach to meeting the law’s mandate, including:
i. Plan and program – RFQ update
ii. Staff update 1. Review the Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) Three-Year Funding Request dated October 6, 2025 and additional funding request details provided by HDOT on November 3, 2025.
iii. Projects update, include an update on dispersal of initial $8M for SRTS projects
iv. Upcoming speakers
V. Open Forum: Invitation to interested members of the public to be heard on matters not included on the agenda
