Reminder: Pali Highway access hours will change August 1
Posted on Jul 26, 2019 in Highways Posts, Main, NewsHONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) reminds motorists that beginning on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, the Pali Highway access hours will be extended to the following:
Sundays through Fridays (closed on Saturday and State Holidays).
Honolulu-bound AM contraflow: 5 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Kailua/Kaneohe bound PM access: 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Emergency repairs to Pali Highway remain on schedule to allow for access in both directions beginning Sept. 1, 2019. Access on and after September 1 will be Sundays through Fridays from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Nightwork will be necessary through November and daytime single lane closures will be scheduled as needed to complete the additional slope protection work and Pali Highway improvements.
