The closure of the Kapaa Bypass Road has been moved from Wednesday, March 11 to Sunday, March 15 due to inclement weather. The closure will run nightly from Sunday to Friday mornings 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

 

 

— KAUMUALII HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

 

 1) PUHI TO KOLOA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Shoulder closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50), possible in either direction, between mile post 1.7 to 6.6 in the vicinity of  Puhi Road and Maluhia Road, on Saturday, March 7 from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. for clearing the shoulder.

 

— KAPULE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 51) —

 

1) LIHUE

Right shoulder closure on Kapule Highway (Route 51), possible in either direction, between mile post 0.9 to 1.9, in the vicinity of Rice Street and Ahukini Road, on Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grading the shoulder.

 

2) LIHUE

Right shoulder closure on Kapule Highway (Route 51), possible in either direction, near mile post 1.9, in the vicinity of Ahukini Road, on Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grading the shoulder.

 

 

— KUHIO HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

 

  

1) LIHUE (NIGHT WORK)

Center lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) in both directions, between mile post 0.1 to 0.4, in the vicinity of Hardy Street and Ahukini Road nightly on Sunday, March 8 to Friday, March 13  from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for waterline replacement. 2) LIHUE TO WAILUA (NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56), possible in either direction, between mile post 3 to 7, in the vicinity of Kauai Beach Drive to Fernandes Road, on Monday, March 9, Wednesday, March 11, and Friday, March 13 from 1 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. for cutting the grass.

 

3) WAILUA (NIGHT WORK)

Full closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56), in the southbound direction on Wailua mauka bridge, between mile post 5.7 to 5.9, in the vicinity of Wailua Marina Road and Kuamoo Road nightly, on Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for concrete work on the Wailua Mauka Bridge. Traffic will be routed to the Wailua Plantation Bridge. 4) KEALIA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56), possible in either direction, between mile post 10.3 to 10.6, in the vicinity of Kealia Road to Kamole Road, on Saturday, March 7 from 1 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for cutting the grass.

 

5) KEALIA

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56), possible in either direction, between mile post 10.4 to 12.4, in the vicinity of Kealia Road, on Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for cutting the grass.

 

6) MOLOAA TO KILAUEA

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56), possible in either direction, between mile post 20 to 22, in the vicinity of Koolau Road and Kaluamakua Place, on Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for cutting the grass.

 

7) KALIHIWAI TO PRINCEVILLE

Lane shift on Kuhio Highway (Route 56), possible in either direction, between mile post 24.4 to 28.1, in the vicinity of Kahiliholo Road to Emmalani Drive, on Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for striping.

 

8) PRINCEVILLE (NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560), between mile post 0.3 to 1.2, in the vicinity of Hanalei Plantation Road and Ohiki Road, on Thursday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for guardrail installation. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

 

9) HANALEI

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560), possible in either direction between mile post 2.6 to 2.9, in the vicinity of Aku Road and Mahimahi Road, on Thursday, March 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for work on a future drain line. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

 

 

— NAWILIWILI ROAD (ROUTE 58) —

 

1) NAWILIWILI

Single lane closure on Nawiliwili Road (Route 58) possible in either direction between mile post 0.0, to 0.3 in the vicinity of Wilcox Road and Niumalu Road on, Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for tree trimming.

 2) PUA LOKE (NIGHT WORK)

Intersection partially closed at Nawiliwili Road (Route 58) and Haleko Road, in the northbound direction at mile post 1.8, on, Wednesday, March 11 to Thursday, March 12 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for underground survey work for future installation of sewer and waterlines. 3) PUA LOKE (NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closed on Nawiliwili Road (Route 58) after Kukui Grove Street, in the northbound direction at mile post 1.9, also, right turn pocket on Kaumualii Highway will be closed eastbound on, Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for sewer line installation.

 

  

— HALEWILI ROAD (ROUTE 540) —

 

 

1) KALAHEO TO ELEELE

Single lane closure on Halewili Road (Route 540), possible in either direction, between mile post 0.0 to 3.8, in the vicinity of Kaumualii Highway, on Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for cutting the grass.

 

 

— WAIMEA CANYON DRIVE (ROUTE 550) —

 

 

1) KOKEE

Single lane closure of Waimea Canyon Drive (Route 550), between mile post 0.1 to 3.2, in the vicinity of Huakai Road on Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for pavement marker and striping. 2) KOKEE

Single lane closure of Waimea Canyon Drive (Route 550), possible in either direction between mile post 4.6 to 11.5, on Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for shoulder reconstruction. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

 

— KAPAA BYPASS ROAD (ROUTE 5600) —

  

1) WAILUA TO KAPAA (NIGHT WORK)

Complete closure of Kapaa Bypass Road (Route 5600), between mile post 1 to 3, in the vicinity of Kuhio Highway and Olohena Road, nightly on Wednesday, March 11 to Friday, March 13  Sunday, March 15 to Friday, March 20 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving.
