In observance of Good Friday, on Friday, April  18, there will be no contraflow or lane closures, unless otherwise permitted. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. — KAUMUALII HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

1) LIHUE TO PUHI (NIGHT WORK)

Roving single lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 0.0 to 1.9, in the vicinity of Rice Street and Anonui Street on, Monday, April 14, to Wednesday, April 16, from 12:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. for installation of raised pavement markers.

2) LIHUE TO OMAO

Roving right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 0.0 to 8.4, in the vicinity of Rice Street and Punee Road on, Monday, April 14, to Thursday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for cutting grass.

3) OMAO TO LAWAI

Roving lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 8.4 to 10.3, in the vicinity of Punee Road and Koloa Road on, Monday, April 14, to Thursday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for installation of raised pavement markers.

 

— KUHIO HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

1) LIHUE (NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction, between mile post 4.1 to 4.9, in the vicinity of Wailua Golf Course, on Monday, April 14 to Thursday, April 17 from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for guardrail repair.

2) WAILUA (NIGHT WORK)

Full closure of the Wailua Plantation Bridge, Kuhio Highway (Route 56) between mile post 5.6 to 5.9, at 9 p.m. Monday, April 14 through 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 15 with a possible closure at 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 through 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 for deck panel replacement. 3) KAPAA (NIGHT WORK/WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 8 to 9.5, in the vicinity of Akia Road and St. Catherine’s, nightly, Sunday, April 13 to Friday, April 18 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for resurfacing, concrete, and electrical work. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

4) MOLOAA

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction on Moloaa Bridge at mile post 18.4 to 18.6 on Monday, April 14 and Tuesday, April 15 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for bridge inspection.

5) KILAUEA

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction on the Kilauea Stream Bridge at mile post 22.9 to 23.2 on Tuesday, April 15 through Thursday, April 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for bridge inspection.

6) KILAUEA TO KALIHIWAI (NIGHT WORK)

Roving single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction between mile posts 23.8 and 25, vicinity of Kalihiwai Road to Kalihiwai River, on Tuesday, April 15 through Thursday, April 17, from 1 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. for cleaning of culverts.

7) KALIHIWAI TO PRINCEVILLE (NIGHT WORK)

Roving single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 24.4 to 28.1, in the vicinity of Kalihiholo Road and Emmalani Drive, on Monday, April 14, to Thursday, April 17, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for replacement of signs and markers.

8) HANALEI

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction, between mile post 0.3 to 1.2, in the vicinity of Hanalei Plantation Road and Ohiki Road, on Monday, April 14 to Thursday, April 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for drain line and gutter installation. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

*Note: on Wednesday, April 16, there may be short holds (roughly 5 minutes) of traffic while the pipe is being moved for safety.

9) HANALEI

Roving single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction between mile posts 1 and 2, Hanalei Bridge to the wildlife refuge, on Monday, April 14 through Thursday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

10) HANALEI

Right lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) in the westbound direction, between mile post 2.8 to 3.3, in the vicinity of Malolo Road and Anae Road on Monday, April 14 to Thursday, April 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for sidewalk installation. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

11) HANALEI TO WAIKOKO (NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction, between mile post 3.3 to 4.3, in the vicinity of Kumu Road, on Monday, April 14 to Thursday, April 17 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

12) WAIKOKO (24/7 CLOSURE)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction between mile post 4.3 to 4.5, in the vicinity of Waikoko Bridge and Lumahai Trailhead, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for slope stabilization of Waikoko Hillside. — HALEWILI ROAD (ROUTE 540) —

1) KALAHEO

Single lane closure on Halewili Road (Route 540) possible in either direction, between mile post 0 to 1, in the vicinity of Kaumualii Highway on Monday, April 14 to Thursday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for striping and marking installation. Traffic will be alternated through the open lane.

2) ELEELE

Roving shoulder closure with lane shift on Halewili Road (Route 540) possible in either direction, between mile post 1.5 to 2.5, in the vicinity of McBride New Mill Road on Monday, April 14 to Thursday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for vegetation clearing.

 

— WAIMEA CANYON DRIVE (ROUTE 550) —

1) KOKEE (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Waimea Canyon Drive (Route 550) possible in either direction, between mile post 6.7 to 6.8, on Saturday, April 12, from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for tree trimming.

2) KOKEE 

Single lane closure on Waimea Canyon Drive (Route 550) possible in either direction, between mile post 11.5 to 14, on Monday, April 14 to Thursday, April 17, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for shoulder stabilization, guardrail, and striping. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

 

— KUAMOO ROAD (ROUTE 580) —

1) WAILUA HOMESTEADS

Single lane closure on Kuamoo Road (Route 580) possible in either direction, between mile post 1.7 to 4, in the vicinity of Kahawai Place and Hawaiiana Street on Monday, April 14 to Thursday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for striping and marker installation. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

 

— MAALO ROAD (ROUTE 583) —

1) HANAMAULU/WAILUA (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on Maalo Road (Route 583) possible in either direction, between mile post 1 to 2, on Saturday, April 12, from 4 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for grass cutting.
