Filming to take place at H-3 Freeway Tunnels; one lane to be closed in either direction November 19 and 20

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) notifies the traveling public of the following lane closures on the H-3 Freeway at the Harano Tunnel for a film production:

Nov. 19 and 20, 2018

  • 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. – Closure of the left lane in the Honolulu/Halawa bound direction
  • 5 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Closure of the left lane in the Kaneohe/Kailua bound direction

The H-3 Freeway will remain open; however, motorists are advised to account for extra travel time or to consider using alternate Koolau routes such as Likelike Highway or Pali Highway. Filming is also taking place at the Lanai Lookout along Kalanianaole Highway. HDOT manages the parking lot at the lookout, which is closed until Nov. 21, 2018.
