Maui Lane Closures

FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 2 – JULY 8

PLEASE NOTE:

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

There will be no daytime roadwork scheduled on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day, unless permitted.

 

— HONOAPIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —

1) OLOWALU

Right shoulder closure and lane shift on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction between mile markers 12.5 and 14.6, Pohaku Aeko Street and Luawai Street, on Wednesday, July 6 through Friday, July 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree pruning.

2) OLOWALU

Right lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between mile markers 14.5 and 15.9, Luawai Street and Maui Paintball, on Wednesday, July 6 through Friday, July 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., landscape maintenance.

3) LAHAINA

Left lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) possible in either direction between mile markers 19.8 and 21, Aholo Road and Lahainaluna Road, on Tuesday, July 5 through Thursday, July 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping of center median.

 

— PIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 31) —

1) KIHEI (24/7 MODIFICATION)

Piilani Highway (Route 31) reduced to two lanes (one lane in each direction) between Kaonoulu Street and Piikea Avenue effective May 17 and Kulanihakoi Street at Piilani Highway restricted to right-in/right-out for Phase 1 of the Kihei Roundabout construction. — KAAHUMANU AVENUE (ROUTE 32) —

1) WAILUKU

Left lane closure on Kaahumanu Avenue (Route 32) in the westbound direction between mile markers 0.7 and 0.9, Lunalilo Street and Maui Lani Parkway, on Wednesday, July 6 through Thursday, July 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping.

 

— HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTES 36/360) —

1) KAHULUI TO HAIKU

Single lane and shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 36) in both directions between mile markers 0.2 and 8.4, E Kaahumanu Avenue and Holomua Road, on Wednesday, July 6 through Friday, July 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for storm drain cleaning. The bike lane, shoulder and pedestrian sidewalk will be closed.

2) PAIA

Alternating lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36) possible in either direction between mile markers 7.4 and 7.6, Kuau Beach Place and Aolani Place, on Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, July 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for sewer pipe installation.

3) KEANAE

Single lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 360) in the westbound direction between mile markers 12 and 13, near Kaumahina State Wayside Park and Honomanu Stream, on Wednesday, July 6 through Friday, July8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for road striping work.

 

— KEKAULIKE AVENUE (ROUTE 377) —

1) KULA

Single lane closure on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377) possible in either direction near mile marker 8.1, Alae Road and Kekaulike Avenue, on Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, July 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for waterline installation.

 

PUUNENE AVENUE (ROUTE 3500)

1) KAHULUI

Left lane closure on Puunene Avenue (Route 3500) in the southbound direction near mile marker 1, intersection with Kuihelani Highway, on Tuesday, July 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree pruning.
