FOR THE WEEK OF SEPT. 14 – SEPT. 20

SOUTH HIGH STREET/HONOAPIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —

 

 1) WAILUKU/WAIKAPU

Shoulder closure on South High Street/Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in both directions, between mile marker 0 and 3, in between Main Street and Maui Tropical Plantation, on Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., for street sweeping.

 

 2) MAALAEA/PAPALAUA WAYSIDE PARK

Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in either direction, between mile marker 7 and 10, in the vicinity of McGregor Point to Papalaua Wayside Park, on Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail installation and shoulder improvements. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with a lane shift.

 

 3) LAHAINA (24/7 CLOSURE)

Left lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in the northbound direction, between mile marker 20.5 and 20.8, between Prison Street and Dickenson Street, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, until further notice in preparation for upcoming drain line replacement work.

 

4) KAHANA (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30), in the southbound direction, between mile marker 27 and 28, in the vicinity of Hoohui Road and Kahana Nui Road, on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail repair.

 

 

KAAHUMANU AVENUE (ROUTE 32) —

 

 1) WAILUKU

Shoulder closure on Kaahumanu Avenue (Route 32), in both directions, between mile marker 0.6 and 0.65, in the vicinity of Ting’s Drive, on Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for work on sidewalk railing posts. Sidewalk will remain open.

 

2) KAHULUI (NIGHT WORK)

All lanes closed on Kaahumanu Avenue (Route 32), in the westbound direction between mile marker 2.15 and 2.19, in the vicinity of Kane Street and Lono Avenue, on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 20, for water line utility work for the Maui Palms Hampton Inn project. 3) KAHULUI (NIGHT WORK)

Left turn lane and left through lane closed on Kaahumanu Avenue (Route 32), in the eastbound direction, between mile marker 2.15 and 2.19, in the vicinity of Kane Street and Lono Avenue, on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 20, for water line utility work for the Maui Palms Hampton Inn project. Shoulder closure on Hobron Avenue (Route 32A), in both directions, between mile marker 0 and 0.39, in the vicinity of Ala Luina Street and Hana Highway, beginning Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. for street sweeping.

 

 

— KEOLANI PLACE (ROUTE 36A) —

 

1) KAHULUI

Shoulder closure on Keolani Place (Route 36A), in both directions, between mile marker 0 and 0.5, in the vicinity of Hana Highway and Palapala Drive, on Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., for street sweeping.

 

 

— HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 36/360) —

  

1) KAHULUI TO HANA (WEEKEND PERMITTED CLOSURE)  

Roving shoulder and lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36/360) in the eastbound direction beginning at the Palapala Drive and Mua Street intersection and ending at the Hana Ball Park, on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 5 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for the Hana Relay. 2) KAHULUI/SPRECKELSVILLE/PAIA/KUAU

Roving shoulder closure on Hana Highway (Route 36) in both directions between mile marker 0 and 8.5, in the vicinity of Kaahumanu Avenue to Hookipa Park, Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., for street sweeping.

 

3) HANA

Intermittent road closure on Hana Highway (Route 360) in both directions, between mile marker 20 and 21, in the vicinity of West Wailua Iki Stream, from Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept.20, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for emergency rock scaling. There may be short holds of traffic for approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

 

 

HALEAKALA HIGHWAY/KEKAULIKE AVENUE (ROUTE 377) —

  

1) KULA

Single lane closure on Haleakala Highway (Route 377) between mile marker 1 and 3, on Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree removal.

 

2) KULA

Intermittent single lane closure on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377) between mile marker 5.7 and 5.8, in the vicinity of Kekaulike Avenue and Crater Road intersection, on Monday, Sept. 16 to Tuesday, Sept.17 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree removal.

 

3) KULA (24/7 CLOSURE)

Road closure on Kekaulike Avenue (Route 377) at mile marker 8.2 in the vicinity of Alae Road and Waiakoa Road, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, for road repairs.

— LAHAINA BYPASS (ROUTE 3000) —

 

1) LAHAINA (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on the Lahaina Bypass (Route 3000) in the eastbound direction, between mile marker 4.96 and 4.97 in the vicinity of Kupuohi Street and Crater Road, on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to remove and install conductors in a manhole. Traffic will be maintained in both directions with a lane shift.

2) LAHAINA

Shoulder closure on Kahului Beach Road/Waiehu Beach Road (Route 3400) in both directions, between mile marker 0 and 2.6, in the vicinity of Kaahumanu Avenue and Kahekili Highway, on Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. for street sweeping.

 

 

— PUUNENE AVENUE (ROUTE 3500) —

 

1) KAHULUI

Shoulder closure on Puunene Avenue (Route 3500) in both directions, between mile marker 0 and 1.1, in the vicinity of Kaahumanu Avenue and Kuihelani Highway, on Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. for street sweeping.
