— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) PEARL CITY

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Kaamilo Street Overpass between the Kaonohi Street Overpass and the Aiea/Kaneohe/Honolulu Off-Ramp (Exit 13A) on Monday, Apr. 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for the rail project.

2) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass for the rail project.

  • Lanes closed on Saturday night, June 27, through Sunday morning, June 28, from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Lanes closed on Sunday night, June 28, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.The number of lanes closed will vary depending on the location of the roadwork.

3) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU

Right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for deck widening.

4) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from 8 p.m. Saturday night, June 27, through 6 p.m., Sunday, June 28, for deck widening.

  • Three right lanes closed from 8 p.m., Saturday, June 27, through 10 a.m., Sunday morning, June 28.
  • Two right lanes closed Sunday, June 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • One right lane closed Sunday, June 28, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

5) SALT LAKE

Lane closure of the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A) to Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for The Rail Project.

6) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Two lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction from the Radford Drive Overpass to the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) on Tuesday night, June 30, through Friday morning, July 3, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., for deck sealing. All ramps will remain open.

 

7) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) from 9 p.m. on Friday, June 26, through 12:01 a.m. Monday morning, June 29. During this time, a shoulder lane will be open for use and all ramps will remain open.

Speed limits will be reduced to 15 mph in order to minimize traffic induced vibrations that may lead to cracking in the newly repaired deck.  Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

 

8) SALT LAKE TO PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Three right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Radford Drive Overpass and the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) on Sunday night, June 28, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for pavement marking installations.

 

9) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Sunday night, June 28, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for striping work.

10) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND WORK)

Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the H-1/H-2 Split and the Waikele/Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 7) on Saturday, June 27, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for electrical work.

 

11) WAIPAHU

Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waikele/Waipahu On-Ramp (Exit 7) and the Kunia/Waipahu/Ewa Off-Ramp (Exit 5) on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

 

— H-2 FREEWAY —

1) MILILANI TO WAHIAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Alternating lane closure on the H-2 Freeway in the northbound direction between the Mililani Mauka Off-Ramp (Exit 5A) and the Wahiawa Off-Ramp (Exit 8) on Sunday night, June 28, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge joint repair.

 

2) MILILANI TO WAHIAWA One to two lanes closed on the H-2 Freeway in the northbound direction between the Ka Uka Boulevard Overpass and the Mililani Mauka Off-Ramp (Exit 5A) on Monday night, June 29, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for bridge joint repair.

— H-3 FREEWAY —

1) HALAWA TO KANEOHE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure of the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between the Halawa Valley Street Underpass and the Likelike Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 9) from 7 p.m. Saturday, June 27, through 7 a.m. Sunday morning, June 28, for routine tunnel cleaning and maintenance.

 

2) KANEOHE

Right shoulder closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Mokapu Saddle Road On-Ramp and the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for roadside maintenance.

 

3) KANEOHE

Right shoulder closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between the Kamehameha Highway On-Ramp and the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

 

4) KANEOHE

Left shoulder closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Honolulu-Bound direction between the Mokapu Saddle Road Underpass and the Kamehameha Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 11) on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily, for median maintenance.

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) NANAKULI TO KAENA POINT

Alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Nanakuli Avenue and Kaena Point on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for overhead sign replacements.

 

2) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two lanes closed on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and Waiawa Road on Sunday night, June 28, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Kalaniiki Street and Waa Street on Thursday, July 2, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for utility installations.

 

2) HAWAII KAI

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Nenue Street and East Hind Drive on Monday, June 29, through Tuesday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for sewage work.

 

3) HAWAII KAI

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between West Hind Drive and West Halemaumau Street on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement striping installations as part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project.

 

4) HAWAII KAI

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Kealahou Street and the Hawaii Kai Golf Course on Wednesday, July 1, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for manhole work.

 

5) KAILUA Right shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the northbound direction between Keolu Drive and Ulupii Street on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for roadside maintenance.

 

6) WAIMANALO

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the westbound direction between Makapuu Lighthouse Road and Hughes Road on Monday, June 29, through Tuesday, June 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for road repaving work.

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Honolulu Rail Transit will be working on Kamehameha Highway this week at various locations.

  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Waiawa Road and Acacia Road.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Acacia Road and Waimano Home Road.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Lipoa Place and Pali Momi Street.
  • Lane closures in the westbound direction between Pali Momi Street and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday.
  • Lane closures in both directions between Puu Poni Street and Kaonohi Street, Monday through Friday.
  • Lane closures in both directions between Salt Lake Boulevard and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday.

2) KAAAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24/7 lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Keo Place and Trout Farm Road for emergency shoreline improvements.  Traffic will be contraflowed in the remaining open lane.  Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

3) MILILANI TO WAHIAWA

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Wilikina Drive and Wikao Street on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

 

4) MILILANI

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Kuahelani Avenue to Lanikuhana Avenue on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road repaving. One lane will be open for motorists at all times.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 freeway.

 

5) MILILANI

Lane closures in various locations on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street, on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail repairs.

 

6) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kuleana Road and Puu Poni Street on Saturday, June 27, through Sunday, June 28, from 9:30 p.m. to 2  a.m. for bridge deck widening of the H-1 Freeway.

9) WAHIAWA (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Whitmore Avenue and Kilani Avenue on Saturday, June 27, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for bridge maintenance. During this time, the open lane will be contraflowed.

 

10) WAIKANE TO KAAAWA

Alternating lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Waikane Valley Road and Kaaawa Valley Road on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for guardrail installations. Traffic will be contraflowed in the open lane.

 

11) WAIKELE

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions at the Lumiaina Street intersection on Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road reconstruction.

  • Left turn lane closed on Lumiaina Street, eastbound, on Monday, June 29, through Tuesday, June 30.

The Lumiaina Street Traffic Improvements project will add a dedicated left turn lane on Lumiaina Street in the eastbound direction, turning onto the northbound lanes of Kamehameha Highway towards Mililani.  Traffic signals will be modified to provide a left-turn only green arrow for these lanes.  Work is anticipated to be completed in June 2015.

 

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY —

1) KANEOHE (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Likelike Highway in the Honolulu-Bound direction between the H-3 Freeway Overpass and the Wilson Tunnels on Saturday, June 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tree trimming.

 

2) KANEOHE

Single lane closure on Likelike Highway in both directions between the H-3 Freeway Overpass and the Wilson Tunnels on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for electrical work.

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) PEARL HARBOR

Right lane closed on Nimitz Highway at the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp to Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the rail project.

Two right lanes closed on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Aolele Street and Elliott Street from 9 p.m. Friday, June 26, through 12:01 a.m. Monday morning, June 29, as a safety precaution due to deck repairs happening above.

 

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU

Lane closure on Ala Moana Boulevard in both directions between Queen Street and Atkinson Drive on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for concrete pumping and deliveries.

 

2) HONOLULU

Right lane closed on Ala Moana Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Kahanamoku Street and Kalakaua Avenue on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for sewage maintenance.

 

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU

Roving single left lane closure on Vineyard Boulevard in both directions between Palama Street and the eastbound H-1 Freeway On-Ramp on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road repairs.

The Vineyard Boulevard Resurfacing Project will resurface 10.5 lane miles from Palama Street to the H-1 Freeway On-Ramp. The repairs include sidewalks, curbs, gutters, installing bus pads, replacing existing traffic signal heads, energy-efficient, LED optical units, extending left turn lanes at the Palama Street and Liliha Street intersections, and landscaping.

 

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Middle Street in the southbound direction between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, June 26, through Saturday morning, June 27, and Monday night, June 29, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project.

There will also be a 24/7 sidewalk closure on the west side of Middle Street. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.

 

— FORT WEAVER ROAD —

1) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure on Fort Weaver Road in both directions between the H-1 Freeway Overpass and Laulaunui Street on Sunday, June 28 through Tuesday morning, June 30, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and full closure in the southbound direction on Tuesday night, June 30, through Thursday morning, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the rail project.
