Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kaahumanu Street Overpass and the Kaonohi Street Overpass on Monday, April 25, through Friday, April 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for slope repair work.

 

2) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Waialae Avenue On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Tuesday night, April 26, through Wednesday morning, April 27, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for overhead sign replacement.

 

3) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Vineyard Boulevard Off-Ramp (Exit 20B) on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street Overpass and the Liliha Street Overpass on Wednesday night, April 27, through Thursday morning, April 28, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for overhead sign replacement.

 

4) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Houghtailing Street Off-Ramp (Exit 20B) on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Palama Street Off-Ramp (Exit 20C) and the Likelike Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 20A) on Wednesday night, April 27, through Thursday morning, April 28, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for overhead sign replacement.

 

5) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Kapiolani Boulevard Off-Ramp (Exit 25B) on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the 6TH Avenue Overpass and the Old Waialae Road Overpass on Wednesday night, April 27, through Thursday morning, April 28, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for overhead sign replacement.

 

6) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Likelike Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 20A) on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Houghtailing Street Off-Ramp (Exit 20B) and Gulick Avenue Overpass on Tuesday night, April 26, through Wednesday morning, April 27, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for overhead sign replacement.

 

7) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK) Closure of the Pali Highway On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Nuuanu Avenue Overpass and the Kinau Street Off-Ramp (Exit 22) on Wednesday night, April 27, through Thursday morning, April 28, for overhead sign replacement.

 

8) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Middle Street Off-Ramp (Exit 19A) on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Friday night, April 22, through Saturday morning, April 23, from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. for pavement striping and marker installations.

 

9) KALIHI TO KAHALA (NIGHT WORK)

Roving lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Middle Street Overpass and Ainakoa Avenue on Monday night, April 25, through Friday morning, April 29, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for overhead sign replacements.

 

10) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to four lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, April 24, through Friday morning, April 29, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

The number of lanes closed will vary depending on the location of the roadwork.

Closure of the Middle Street Off-Ramp (Exit 19A) on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between Fort Shafter/Aiea Off-Ramp (Exit 19B) and the Ola Lane Overpass on Friday, April 22, from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m., for pavement markers and striping installations.

Lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in both directions between the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass and the Mokapu Saddle Road Underpass on Monday, April 25, through Friday, April 29, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily, for median maintenance.

 

2) KANEOHE

Lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction approximately a half mile before the Harano Tunnels and the Likelike Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 9) on Tuesday, April 26, and Thursday, April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for tunnel maintenance.

Lane closures on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between West Hind Drive and Hanauma Bay Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for landscaping and road repairs as part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project.

  • Monday, April 25: Right lane closed from East Hind Drive to Nenue Street in the westbound direction.
  • Tuesday, April 26: Right lane closed from Nenue Street to East Hind Drive in the eastbound direction.
  • Thursday, April 28: Alternating single lane closure from West Hind Drive to Hanauma Bay Road in both directions.
  • Friday, April 29: Alternating single lane closure from West Hind Drive to Hanauma Bay Road in both directions.

Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Ulupii Street and Kanapuu Drive on Friday night, April 29, through Saturday morning, April 30, from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. for maintenance work.

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the southbound direction between Poalima Street and Inoaole Street on Friday, April 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for utility pole replacements.

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Malaekahana Valley Road and Sand Road on Monday, April 25, through Friday, April 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for paving, pavement striping, and guardrail installations. Traffic will be contraflowed through the remaining open lane.

 

2) KANEOHE

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kaneohe Bay Drive and Pali Highway on Wednesday, April 27, Thursday, April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

3) LAIE TO HAUULA

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Hauula Homestead Road and Cackle Fresh Egg Farm Road on Monday, March 25, through Friday, March 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., daily, for road maintenance work.

 

4) MILILANI

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street on Monday, April 25, through Friday, April 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for guardrail work, fencing, and shoulder improvements. One lane in both directions will be open for motorists at all times.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 freeway.

 

5) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Honolulu Rail Transit will be working on Kamehameha Highway this week at various locations.

  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Waiawa Road and Kaonohi Street.
  • Lane closures in both directions at the Acacia Road Intersection.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Pali Momi Street and Honomanu Street.
  • Lane closure in the westbound direction between Lipoa Place and Pali Momi Street.
  • Lane closures in the eastbound direction between Honomanu Street and Salt Lake Boulevard, Monday through Friday.

Closure of Harding Avenue in both directions between South King Street and 2nd Avenue on Monday night, April 25, through Friday morning, April 29, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for bridge repair work. Electronic message boards will be placed in the area in advance of the closure to alert drivers of the work. The location of the work will depend on previous phases.

 

— ROOSEVELT AVENUE —

1) KAPOLEI

Lane closure on Roosevelt Avenue in the westbound direction between Corregidor Street and Bougainville Street on Monday, April 25, through Friday morning, April 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for paving and electrical work.

 

— LILIHA STREET —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two lanes closed on Liliha Street in the southbound direction between Vineyard Boulevard and North King Street from 9 a.m., on Friday, April 22, through 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, for roadway reconstruction. Traffic will be contraflowed to provide one travel lane in either direction. Left turns will be restricted at all intersections. Special duty police officers will assist with traffic flow.

 

2) HONOLULU

Lane closure on Liliha Street in the northbound direction between Vineyard Boulevard and School Street on Monday, April 25, through Thursday, April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for roadway reconstruction.

 

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, April 22, through Saturday morning, April 23, and Monday night, April 25, through Saturday morning, April 30, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed, and some turns may be restricted.

There may be a 24/7 lane closure in both directions within the construction zone. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.

 

—SALT LAKE BOULEVARD —
