Left lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Gulick Avenue Overpass on Friday night, May 27, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for bridge maintenance work.

 

3) HONOLULU TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Roving lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Airport Off-Ramp and the Aiea/Pearlridge Off-Ramp (Exit 13A) on Sunday night, May 22, through Friday morning, May 27, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for pavement marking installations.

 

4) KAHALA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Waialae Avenue Off-Ramp (Exit 26B) and Ainakoa Avenue on Sunday, May 22, from 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for the Honolulu Ekiden Run.

 

5) PEARL CITY

Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kaahumanu Street Overpass and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Wednesday, May 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for utility replacements.

 

6) PEARL CITY

Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Aiea Heights Drive Overpass and the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) on Monday, May 23, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for marker installations and sign modifications.

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, May 22, through Friday morning, May 27, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

The number of lanes closed will vary depending on the location of the roadwork.

Shoulder closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction at the Ka Uka Boulevard intersection on Monday, May 23, through Friday, March 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for soil testing.

 

8) MILILANI

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street on Monday, May 23, through Friday, May 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for guardrail work, fencing, and shoulder improvements. One lane in both directions will be open for motorists at all times.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 freeway.

 

9) PEARL HARBOR

Lane closures on Vineyard Boulevard in both directions between Nuuanu Avenue and the Pali Highway on Wednesday, May 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree trimming.

 

— LILIHA STREET —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two lanes closed on Liliha Street in the northbound direction between North King Street and Vineyard Boulevard from 8:30 a.m., on Friday, May 20, through 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, for roadway reconstruction. Traffic will be contraflowed to provide one travel lane in either direction. Left turns will be restricted at all intersections. Special duty police officers will assist with traffic flow.

 

2) HONOLULU

Right lane closure on Liliha Street in the northbound direction between Vineyard Boulevard and School Street on Monday, May 23, through Friday, May 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for sidewalk reconstruction.

 

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, May 20, through Saturday morning, May 21, and Monday night, May 23, through Saturday morning, May 28, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed, and some turns may be restricted.

The right turn onto Nimitz Highway will not be allowed. Motorists are advised to turn left at Dillingham Boulevard and turn right onto Puuhale Road to access Nimitz Highway.

There may be a 24/7 lane closure in the southbound direction within the construction zone. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.
