— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Middle Street Overpass and Ainakoa Avenue on Monday night, Feb. 8, through Friday morning, Feb. 12, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for overhead sign replacements.

 

2) PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure of the Mililani/Wahiawa Off-Ramp (Exit 8A) on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Thursday night, Feb. 11, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge repair work.

 

3) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, Feb. 7, through Friday morning, Feb. 12, for the rail project.

  • Right lanes closed in the eastbound direction on Sunday night, Feb. 7, through Thursday morning, Feb. 11, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Left lanes closed in the eastbound direction on Monday night, Feb. 8, through Friday morning, Feb. 12, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Right lanes closed in the westbound direction on Tuesday night, Feb. 9, through Friday morning, Feb. 12, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Left lanes closed in the westbound direction on Wednesday night, Feb. 10, through Friday morning, Feb. 12, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

The number of lanes closed will vary depending on the location of the roadwork.

Right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Monday night, Feb. 8, through Friday morning, Feb. 12, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for bridge deck overlay work.

  • Two lanes closed from 8 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
  • Three lanes closed from 8:45 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Paiwa Street Underpass on Monday, Feb. 8, through Friday, Feb. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for slope repair work.

Closure of the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Tuesday night, Feb. 9, through Friday morning, Feb. 12, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

1) HALAWA TO KANEOHE

Right lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between the Halawa Valley Street Underpass and the Harano Tunnel on Tuesday, Feb. 9, through Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for electrical work.

 

2) KANEOHE

Right lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in both directions at the Harano Tunnels on Tuesday, Feb. 9, through Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., daily, for tunnel maintenance.

  • Closure in the Kaneohe-bound direction on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
  • Closure in the Honolulu-bound direction on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

Shoulder closure on the H-3 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Kamehameha Highway Underpass on Monday, Feb. 8, through Friday, Feb. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for utility installations.

Left lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kailua-bound direction between the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass and the Mokapu Saddle Road Underpass on Monday, Feb. 8, through Friday, Feb. 12, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily, for median maintenance.

Alternating lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Sand Road and Kahana Valley Road on Monday, Feb. 8, through Friday, Feb. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for utility installations.

 

3) MILILANI

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street on Monday, Feb. 8, through Friday, Feb. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for guardrail work, pavement striping installations, and shoulder improvements. One lane in both directions will be open for motorists at all times.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 freeway.

 

4) PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kuleana Road and Puu Poni Street on Monday night, Feb. 8, through Wednesday morning, Feb. 10, from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m., nightly, for bridge deck overlay work.

  • Monday: Two left lanes closed in the westbound direction and one left lane closed in the eastbound direction.
  • Tuesday: One right lane closed in the eastbound direction.

Honolulu Rail Transit will be working on Kamehameha Highway this week at various locations.

  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Pali Momi Street and Honomanu Street.
  • Lane closure in the westbound direction between Lipoa Place and Pali Momi Street.
  • Lane closures in the eastbound direction between Honomanu Street and Salt Lake Boulevard, Monday through Friday.

Two lanes closed on Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction between Center Drive and Halawa Drive on Monday, Feb. 8, through Friday, Feb. 12, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily, for The Rail project. The right turn only lane approaching Radford Drive may be closed during this time.

Alternating lane closure on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, Feb. 5, through Saturday morning, Feb. 6, and Monday night, Feb. 8, through Saturday morning, Feb. 13, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project.

There will also be a 24/7 southbound median lane closure and sidewalk closure on the west side of Middle Street. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.
