Full closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between Ward Avenue Overpass and Middle Street on Sunday night July 20, through Friday morning, July 25, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for the H-1 Rehabilitation Project.

The H-1 Rehabilitation project will upgrade the freeway sub-surface and asphalt to provide a longer-lasting, smooth riding surface, provide an additional lane in each direction, install upgraded lighting, improve drainage, and install glare screens along the median.

Two right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Radford Drive Overpass and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) on Monday, July 21, to Friday morning, July 25, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for overhead sign work.

 

5) KAPOLEI TO EWA BEACH (NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Kualakai Parkway and Fort Weaver Road on Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25, from 8 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. for overhead sign work.

 

6) WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Tuesday, July 22, through Friday morning, July 25, from 7:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for road widening and utility installations.

7) WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU

Alternating lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for road repairs and utility installations.

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between Koko Head Avenue Off-Ramp (Exit 26A) and King Street Off-Ramp (Exit 25A) on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.,for overhead sign work.

 

9) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND WORK)

Two right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B), on Sunday, July 20, from 3 a.m. to 12 p.m., for viaduct deck repairs.

 

10) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Radford Drive Overpass and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) from 9 p.m., Friday, July 18, through 4 a.m., Monday, July 21, for deck repairs.

Speed limits will be reduced to 15 mph in order to minimize traffic induced vibrations that may lead to cracking or delaminations in the newly repaired deck.

Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

 

 

— H-2 FREEWAY —

1) WAIPIO (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-2 Freeway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Ka Uka Boulevard Off-Ramp (Exit 2) and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday, July 20, through Thursday, July 24, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the rail project.

 

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY —

1) MOANALUA

Left lane closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway, in the westbound direction, between the Puuloa Road Overpass and the Alakapuna Street Overpass on Thursday, July 24 through Friday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tree trimming.

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) MAKAHA

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Jade Street and Makaha Valley Road on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for paving and drain line work. Traffic will be contraflowed using the remaining open lane.

During these hours, the east entrance to Lahilahi Street may also be closed as needed. Access will still be available at the west entrance to Lahilahi Street

                                                       

2) MAILI

Single lane closure in the eastbound direction at the intersection of Farrington Highway and St. Johns Road between Liopolo Street and Manununu Street, on Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for construction at Maili Beach Park.

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) HAWAII KAI

Lane closures on Kalanianaole Highway in the east bound direction between West Hind Drive and Halemaumau Street on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for cold planning as part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project. Left turns are permitted near Kirkwood Street, and U-turns are permitted at West Halemaumau Street.

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) WAHIAWA

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Kilani Avenue and Olive Avenue on Thursday, July 24, through Friday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for utility replacements.

 

2) PEARL CITY

One right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the eastbound direction between Puu Momi Street and Kaahumanu Street on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for guardrail repair.

Partial closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Waihau Street and Ka Uka Boulevard on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations and sidewalk repairs.

 

5) KALIHI

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the eastbound direction at the Middle Street intersection, between the Airport Viaduct and Puuhale Road on Tuesday, July 22, through Wednesday, July 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for manhole survey.

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between Elliott Street and Aolele Street on Friday night, July 18, through Monday morning, July 21, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. as a safety precaution due to deck repairs happening above.

 

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure on Nimitz Highway at the intersection of Valkenburgh Street and Nimitz Highway from 9 p.m., Friday, July 18, through 9 a.m., Sunday, July 20, due to deck repairs happening above.

Lane closures on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between Waiakamilo Road and Smith Street on Sunday, July 20, through Thursday, July 24, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. for the Rail Project.

Right lane closure on the Pali Highway in the southbound direction between the tunnels and Waokanaka Street on Saturday, July 19, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., for road maintenance.

2) HONOLULU TO KANEOHE

Alternating lane closures on Pali Highway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between Waokanaka Street and Castle Junction on Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m, daily, for the pavement marking installations.

Left lane closure on Pali Highway in the eastbound direction between School Street and Pauoa Road on Saturday, July 19, from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., for utility maintenance.

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD —

 

1)    HONOLULU

Lane closures on Vineyard Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Palama Street and Aala Street on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for gutter, curb and sidewalk installations.

The Vineyard Boulevard Resurfacing Project will resurface 10.5 lane miles from Palama Street to the H-1 Freeway On-Ramp. The repairs include sidewalks, curbs, gutters, installing bus pads, replacing existing traffic signal heads, energy-efficient, LED optical units, extending left turn lanes at the Palama Street and Liliha Street intersections, and landscaping.

 

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Two lane closures on the Vineyard Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Queen Emma Street and Miller Street on Sunday, July 13, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., for repaving work.

 

3) HONOLULU

Lane closure on Vineyard Boulevard in the westbound direction between H-1 Freeway Off-Ramp and Punchbowl Street on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the Vineyard Boulevard Resurfacing project.

Single lane closure on Kaneohe Bay Drive in both directions between Kamehameha Highway and Nanamoana Street on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road work.

Right lane closed on Liliha Street in the northbound, direction between North Vineyard Street and North Kuakini Street on Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.,daily, for water main installations.

 

— FORT BARRETT ROAD —

Lane closures on Fort Barrett Road in both directions between Farrington Highway and Roosevelt Avenue on Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for utility maintenance.
