Oahu lane closures scheduled for the week of May 23 – May 29

PLEASE NOTE:
Lane closures may change at any time without further notice and do not include roving hazard debris patrols.
All projects are weather permitting.

In observance of Memorial Day there will be no roadwork scheduled on Monday, May 25, unless permitted. Contraflow/HOV lanes will not be operational.

 

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Roving lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between Ainakoa Avenue and Middle Street on Tuesday night, May 26, through Friday morning, May 29, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for sign installations.

2) HONOLULU

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Vineyard Boulevard onramp and the Houghtailing offramp (Exit 20B) on Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., for fence repairs.

 

3) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between Lunalilo Street and the Punahou Street overpass on Thursday, May 28, through Friday, May 29, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., for road repairs. One lane in the eastbound direction and two lanes in the westbound direction will be closed.

 

4) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the eastbound Airport offramp (Exit 16) to Paiea Street/Aolele Street on Tuesday night, May 26, through Friday morning, May 29, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., for The Rail project.

5) HONOLULU

Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kapiolani Interchange and Ainakoa Avenue on Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. The speed limit in this area is reduced to 40 mph during closure hours.

 

6) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Roving lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions at the Campbell Industrial Park/Barbers Point Harbor off (Exit 1A) on Monday night, May 25, through Friday morning, May 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for lighting work.

 

7) KAPOLEI TO HONOLULU

Roving lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kunia Interchange and the Airport viaduct on Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for pothole repairs.

 

8) MOANALUA
Up to two alternating lane closures on the H-1 Freeway/H-201 Moanalua Freeway in the westbound direction between the Houghtailing Street offramp (Exit 20B) and the Ahua Street overpass on Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., for maintenance repairs. The Puuloa Road/Tripler Hospital offramp (Exit 3) will be closed during this time.
