For the week of Saturday, Aug. 20, to Friday, Aug. 26

There will be no Oahu roadwork on 8/22-8/26 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. due to HDOT’s “Beat the School Jam” lane closure restriction

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) AIEA TO PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Three left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Halawa Interchange and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B), for zipper barrier replacements.

  • Lanes will be closed on Sunday night, Aug. 21, through Monday morning, Aug. 22, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Lanes will be closed on Monday night, Aug. 22, through Friday morning, Aug. 26, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on the Pali Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 21A) from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Sunday night, Aug. 21, through Monday morning, Aug. 22, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for guardrail repairs.

3) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the McCully Street Overpass and the Ward Avenue Overpass on Wednesday night, Aug. 24, through Thursday morning, Aug. 25, from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. for utility installations.

4) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction at the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A) on Tuesday night, Aug. 23, through Wednesday morning, Aug. 24, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for guardrail maintenance.

5) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the Kamehameha Highway On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Pearl Harbor Interchange on Wednesday night, Aug. 24, through Thursday morning, Aug. 25, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for guardrail maintenance.

6) HONOLULU TO KAHALA (WEEKEND WORK)

Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between University Avenue Off-Ramp (Exit 24B) and Ainakoa Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for maintenance work.

7) HONOLULU TO PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the H-1/H-2 Split on Sunday night, Aug. 21, through Friday morning, Aug. 26, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for restriping of the Zipper lane.

8) KUNIA (WEEKEND WORK)

Closure of the Kunia Road On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. for maintenance work.

9) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Four left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kaahumanu Street Overpass and the H-1/H-2 Split on Saturday night, Aug. 20, through Sunday morning, Aug. 21, for The Rail project.

  • Lanes closed in the eastbound direction from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

10) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to four left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Waiawa Road Overpass and the Kaahumanu Street Overpass on Friday night, Aug. 19, through Saturday morning, Aug. 20, and Monday night, Aug. 22, through Friday morning, Aug. 26, for The Rail project.

  • Three left lanes closed from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Up to four lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Kaahumanu Street Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Friday night, Aug. 19, through Saturday morning, Aug. 20, and Monday night, Aug. 22, through Friday morning, Aug. 26, for The Rail project.

  • Three lanes closed from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Four lanes closed from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Up to two lanes closed on the H-2 Freeway in both directions between the Ka Uka Boulevard Overpass and the Mililani Mauka Off-Ramp (Exit 5A) on Monday night, Aug. 22, through Friday morning, Aug. 26, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for road repairs.

 

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY —

1) MOANALUA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closures on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in both directions between the Ala Kapuna Street Overpass and the Halawa Interchange on Sunday, Aug. 21, through Friday morning, Aug. 26, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for maintenance work.

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) MAILI

Shoulder closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction at the Maipalaoa Road Intersection on Monday, Aug. 22, through Friday, Aug. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for maintenance work.

2) WAIANAE

Shoulder closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Ala Akau Street and Lualualei Homestead Road on Monday, Aug. 22, through Friday, Aug. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for maintenance work.

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) HAWAII KAI (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Makapuu Lighthouse Road and Hanauma Bay Road on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) HALAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction between Kalaloa Street and Salt Lake Boulevard on Friday, Aug. 19, through Friday, Aug. 26, over a 24-hour period, for The Rail project.

Right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Laie Beach Park and Wahinepee Street on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for maintenance work.

4) WAIKANE (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Haupoa Street and Waiahole Valley Road on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for maintenance work.

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) HONOLULU

Closure of the Dillingham Boulevard Off-Ramp from Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction on Monday night, Aug. 22, through Wednesday morning, Aug. 24, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for The Rail work.

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Monday night, Aug. 22, through Friday morning, Aug. 26, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed, and some turns may be restricted.

There may be a 24/7 lane closure in the northbound direction within the construction zone. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.

 

— KUALAKAI PARKWAY —

1) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Kualakai Parkway in the southbound direction between Farrington Highway and the University of Hawaii West Oahu on Friday, Aug. 19, through Friday, Aug. 26, over a 24-hour period, for The Rail project.
