— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)

Multiple lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Aiea Pedestrian Overpass between the Kaamilo Street Overpass and the Aiea/Kaneohe/Honolulu Off-Ramp (Exit 13A) on Monday, Mar. 23, through Friday morning, Mar. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. the next day, and Friday, Mar. 27 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • Two right lanes will be closed from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m..
  • Three right lanes will be closed from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Four right lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Construction will replace approximately 10,000 square feet of concrete pavement in the eastbound direction of the H-1 Freeway in Aiea over a two-week period.

2) WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Multiple lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from 8 p.m., Saturday night, Mar. 21, through 6 p.m., Sunday, Mar. 22, for deck widening and concrete pours.

  • Three right lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 21, through 10 a.m., Sunday morning, Mar. 22.
  • Two right lanes will be closed on Sunday, Mar. 22, from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.
  • One right lane will be closed on Sunday, Mar. 22, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

3) WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU (NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) and the Waipahu Street Overpass on Thursday night, Mar. 26, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for pavement striping work.

4) WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for road widening.

5) SALT LAKE

Lane closure of the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for The Rail Project.

6) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions at the H-1/H-2 Merge between the Waipahu Street Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, Mar. 22, through Friday morning, Mar. 27, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

7) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) from 9 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 20, through 12:01 a.m. on Monday morning, Mar. 23. All ramps will remain open.

Speed limits will be reduced to 15 mph in order to minimize traffic induced vibrations that may lead to cracking in the newly repaired deck.

Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

8) SALT LAKE

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A) in the westbound direction on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the rail project.

9) PEARL CITY TO HNL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Pearlridge/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) on Sunday, Mar. 22, to Wednesday morning, Mar. 25, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for pavement striping installations.

10) WAIPAHU

Shoulder lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Kunia/Waipahu/Ewa Off-Ramp (Exit 5) and the H-1/H-2 Merge on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for chain link fence installations.

— H-2 FREEWAY —

1) MILILANI

Full closure of the Mililani Tech Park/Wheeler AAF On-Ramp and Off-Ramp (Exit 7) of the H-2 Freeway in both directions on Monday, Mar.23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for cold planning and repaving work.

Motorists are advised to use Kamehameha Highway as an alternate route.

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —                                                 

1) MAKAHA (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Satellite Tracking Station Road and Makua Valley Road on Saturday, Mar. 21, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for roadside maintenance.

2) MAKAHA

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Orange Street and Maiuu Road on Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pole replacements.

3) NANAKULI

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Laumania Avenue and Haleakala Avenue on Wednesday, Mar. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

4) WAIANAE

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Kaupuni Street and Lualualei Homestead Road on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pole replacements and waterline work.

— KAHEKILI HIGHWAY —

1) HEEIA (WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closure on Kahekili Highway in the northbound direction between Kulukeoe Street and Keaahala Road on Saturday, Mar. 21, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tree trimming.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) HAWAII KAI

Two lanes closed on Kalanianaole Highway in the westbound direction between Puuikena Drive and West Hind Drive on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for cold planing and resurfacing as part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project.

Left Turns will be allowed up to West Hind Drive and from West Halemaumau Street onward. U-turns to head back eastbound will be allowed at West Halemaumau Street. Special Duty Police Officers will direct left turns onto West Hind Drive and left turns from Nenue Street onto Kalanianaole Highway.

2) HAWAII KAI

Single lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions at the Keahole Street Intersection on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, and at the Lunalilo Home Road Intersection on Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for loop detector installations.

3) HAWAII KAI

Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Puuikena Drive and East Halemaumau Street on Monday, Mar. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for gas installations.

4) KAILUA

Shoulder lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the northbound direction between Keolu Drive and Ulupii Street on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for roadside pavement installations.

5) MAUNAWILI

Single lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kapaa Quarry Road and Kamehameha Highway on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for soil testing.

6) WAIMANALO (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the northbound direction between Makai Pier and Wailea Street on Saturday, Mar. 21, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tree trimming.

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) KAHUKU TO HALEIWA

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Pahipahialua Street and Pohaku Loa Way on Tuesday, Mar. 24, through Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for utility maintenance.

2) MILILANI

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in northbound direction between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for roadway reconstruction and fence and guardrail installations.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 freeway.

3) MILILANI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Lanikuhana Avenue and Kipapa Street on Sunday, Mar. 22, through Friday, Mar. 27, for bus pad installations.

4) WAIKELE

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction at the Lumiaina Street intersection on Tuesday, Mar. 24, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road reconstruction.

This work is a part of the Lumiaina Street Traffic Improvements project. Construction will add a dedicated left turn lane on Lumiaina Street in the eastbound direction, turning onto the northbound lanes of Kamehameha Highway towards Mililani. Traffic signals will be modified to provide a left-turn only green arrow for these lanes.  Work is anticipated to be completed in June 2015.

5) WAIKELE

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction at the Lumiaina Street intersection on Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road reconstruction.

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) HONOLULU Right lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Kekaulike Street and Kukahi Street on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

2) PEARL HARBOR

Two lanes closured on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between South Avenue and Valkenburgh Street on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for road repaving work.

3) SALT LAKE

Right lane closure on the Nimitz Highway Off-Ramp in the westbound direction between Valkenburgh Street and Kamehameha Highway on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the rail project.

4) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lanes closed on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Catlin Drive and Aolele Street from 9 p.m. Friday, Mar. 20, through 12:01 a.m. Monday morning, Mar. 23, as a safety precaution due to deck repairs happening above.

 

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU

Lane closure on Ala Moana Boulevard in both directions between Queen Street and Atkinson Drive on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for roadside reconstruction work.

2) HONOLULU

Right lane closed on Ala Moana Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Kahanamoku Street and Kalakaua Avenue on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sewage maintenance.

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU

Roving single lane closure on Vineyard Boulevard in both directions between Maunakea Street and Aala Street on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for loop detector installations.

The Vineyard Boulevard Resurfacing Project will resurface 10.5 lane miles from Palama Street to the H-1 Freeway On-Ramp. The repairs include sidewalks, curbs, gutters, installing bus pads, replacing existing traffic signal heads, energy-efficient, LED optical units, extending left turn lanes at the Palama Street and Liliha Street intersections, and landscaping.

2) HONOLULU

Single lane closure on Vineyard Boulevard in the eastbound direction at the Liliha Street intersection between Pua Lane and Aala Street on Monday, Mar. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sewage maintenance.

3) HONOLULU

Two lanes closured on Vineyard Boulevard in the westbound direction between Queen Emma Street and Nuuanu Avenue on Monday, Mar. 23, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for utility maintenance.

 

— KALIHI STREET —

1) KALIHI

Right lane closure on Kalihi Street in the northbound direction between Beckley Street and Makuahine Street on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for utility installations.

— LUMIAINA STREET —

1) WAIKELE

Lane closures on Lumiaina Street in the eastbound direction at the Kamehameha Highway intersection on Monday, Mar. 23, through Wednesday, Mar. 25, and Friday, Mar. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road reconstruction.

This work is a part of the Lumiaina Street Traffic Improvements project. Alternating single lane closures on Kunia Road in both directions between Lyman Road and Wilikina Drive on Wednesday, Mar. 25, from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. for pavement marking installations.
