Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Honolulu-bound Kailua Road (Route 61) between Kailua Methodist Church and the Windward YMCA, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 for utility pole replacements.

— H-1 FREEWAY — 

1) KAPOLEI TO KUNIA 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between the Kalaeloa Interchange and the Kunia Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 for various maintenance activities to address complaints.   

2) KAPOLEI (NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kualakai Parkway interchange and Honouliuli bridge, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Monday, April 13 for removal of K-Rails. 

3) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK)  

Three to four lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Manager’s Drive overpass and the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10), from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Monday, April 13 and Thursday, April 16 for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure.   

4) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kamehameha Highway overpass and the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10) from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Friday, April 10 for pavement markings work.  

5) PEARL CITY 

Right shoulder closure on the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B) from the westbound H-1    Freeway, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, for slope improvements.  

6) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Three to four lanes closed on the right-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Waiawa Road overpass and the Kaamilo Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15 for work on the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed from 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure. 

7) AIRPORT VIADUCT TO KAHALA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between Puuloa Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 to address pothole, litter, and sign requests.  

8) HONOLULU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, between the Ola Lane overpass and Richard Lane, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1awidening.com/.  

9) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway in the vicinity of the Ola Lane overpass and the Likelike Highway off-ramp (Exit 20A) from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following day on the evening of Friday, April 10, for work as part of the H-1 Freeway widening. 10) KAIMUKI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the King Street on-ramp to the freeway, from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, April 11 for utility repairs. Note: This work will require a short full closure of the freeway to string a cable across all lanes. 1) WAIPAHU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the Honolulu-bound H-2 Freeway, between the Ka Uka Boulevard on-ramp and the Waipio Self Storage, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for construction of access road. 

 

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY — 

1) HALAWA 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the H-201 Moanalua Freeway, possible in either direction, between the H-1 Freeway overpass and the H-3 Freeway off-ramp, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 for grass trimming and mechanical mowing throughout the Halawa Interchange. 

2) FORT SHAFTER (NIGHT WORK) 

Full closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway off-ramp to the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, in the vicinity of the Honolulu/ King Steet off-ramp, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Friday, April 10 as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. — PALI HIGHWAY/ KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY/ KAILUA ROAD (ROUTE 61) — 

1) NUUANU 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between School Street and Waokanaka Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday April 16 and Friday, April 17 for crosswalk gateway maintenance. Closure may be of the left, or right lanes; one direction/side to be closed at a time. 

2) NUUANU  

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Honolulu-bound Pali Highway (Route 61) between Dowsett Avenue and Waokanaka Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 for tree trimming and scraping work. (i.e. removal of moss.) 

3) NUUANU TO KAILUA  

Single lane closure on Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between Waokanaka Street and the Pali Tunnels, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 for pavement markings work. Note: Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side/direction to be closed at a time.

Single lane closure on the left-hand side Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61), possible in either direction, between Ulumanu Drive and Uluhala Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 for traffic signals project. Potential closures of a single lane in both directions (for a total of two lanes) may be necessary. 

9) KAILUA  

Roving shoulder closure on Kailua Road (Route 61) possible in either direction, between Castle Medical Center and Hamakua Drive, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14 for grass trimming and litter removal. Note: Closure may be of the left or right lane; one side/direction to be closed at a time.

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of Likelike HIghway (Route 63), possible in either direction, through the Wilson Tunnels, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 for installation of fire extinguishers through the tunnels.  

 

— SAND ISLAND ACCESS ROAD (ROUTE 64) —  

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the right-hand side of Sand Island Access Road (Route 64) one in each direction, between Auiki Street and the Hawaii Stevedores main entrance, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 for the Kalihi Ahupuaa Ride 2026.  

 

— KANEOHE BAY DRIVE (ROUTE 65) —  

1) KANEOHE 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65) between Aumoku Street and Nohonani Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for erosion control work.  

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 72) —  

1) KAILUA TO MAKAPUU 

Roving shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, between Kailua Road and Makapuu Lighthouse Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 through Friday, April 17 for grass trimming and litter removal. Closure may be of the left or right shoulder. One side to be closed at a time.  

2) NIU VALLEY (NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of eastbound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) between Paeoki Drive and Paiko Drive, from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Monday, April 13 through Wednesday, April 15 for culvert inspections.  

3) KAHALA  

Roving single lane closure on the left-hand side of Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, between Laukahi Street and Ainakoa Avenue, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for landscaping work. 

 

— MOANALUA ROAD (ROUTE 78) —  

1) AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Two lane closure on Moanalua Road (Route 78) one in each direction, between Kaimakani Street and Aiea Access Road, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 for striping work. 

 

— JOSEPH P. LEONG/ KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) HALEIWA TO KAHALUU  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between Weed Circle and the Kahaluu Roundabout, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for tree trimming, pothole filling and sign maintenance.  

2) HALEIWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on Jospeh P. Leong/ Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between Opaeula Stream Bridge and Kapuhi Street, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Sunday, April 12 through Thursday, April 16, for repaving work toward Kahuku. One direction will be closed at a time.

Alternating single lane shift along Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between the Kaipaupau Stream Bridge and Pipiani Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 to accommodate storm recovery work. 

5) WAIAHOLE  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Haleiwa-bound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Waiahole Valley Road and Waiahole Homestead Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 for asphalt patching work.  

 

— KAHEKILI HIGHWAY/KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) KANEOHE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, at the intersection of Likelike Highway and Kaneohe Bay Drive, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Friday, April 10 for overhead sign work.

Shoulder closures on the left-hand side of Nimitz Highway (Route 92) one in either direction, at the intersection of Center Drive and South Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for structure work of destination signs.  

2) PEARL HARBOR/HICKAM  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) at the intersection of Center Drive and South Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for structure work of destination signs.  

3) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Closures on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Awa Street and Richards Street on Sunday, April 12, through Friday, April 17, over a 24-hour period, for HART work includes: 

  • 24-HOUR CLOSURE: Awa Street closed 24/7 from Nimitz Highway, in either direction through November 2026. 
  • 24-HOUR CLOSURE: Inside lanes in either direction on Nimitz Highway for installation of K-Rails, through 2030.  
  • WEEKEND WORK: Nimitz Highway westbound between Richards Street and Bishop Street will have a single right lane closed from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, for manhole restoration. 
  • Nimitz Highway westbound between Richards Street and Bishop Street will have a single right lane closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for manhole restoration.  
  • Nimitz Highway eastbound and westbound between Awa Street and Richards Street will have a single lane closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17, in addition to the 24-hour lane closures. 
  • 24-HOUR CLOSURE: Crosswalk closure and detour at Nuuanu Avenue and Nimitz Highway. Left turn restrictions between Bethel Street and Nuuanu Avenue to accommodate equipment mobilization.  
  • 24-HOUR CLOSURE: Nuuanu Avenue crosswalk from Nimitz Highway closed and detoured beginning Friday, Feb. 6, through March 2026. 
  • NIGHT WORK: Up to two lanes closed on east and westbound Nimitz Highway between Awa Street and Richards Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 to support drilling work.

Full closure of Nimitz Highway/Ala Moana Boulevard (Route 92) between Bishop Street and Kalakaua Avenue, from 5:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 12 for the Hapalua Half Marathon. Right lane to open after last outbound participant passes.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 93) — 

1) MAKUA TO KAPOLEI   

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Farrington Highway (Route 93) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Makua Beach and the Kalaeloa Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 for various maintenance activities to address complaints.    

2) MAKUA TO MAKAHA 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of westbound Farrington Highway (Route 93) between Satellite Tracking Station Road and Kili Drive, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for landscaping work.  

3) WAIANAE   

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Farrington Highway (Route 93) possible in either direction, between Mailiilii Road and Lualualei Naval Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 for mechanical mowing, grass trimming and litter removal.  

4) NANAKULI  

Alternating singe lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) possible in either direction, between Akowai Road and Hakimo Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13 for boring and marking work. Note: Westbound will be a left lane closure; eastbound will be a right lane closure.  

5) NANAKULI  

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of westbound Farrington Highway (Route 93) at the intersection of Hakimo Road, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 17 for electrical work.  

6) NANAKULI TO KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Roving two lane closure on the left-hand side of Farrington Highway (Route 93), one in each direction, between Pohakunui Avenue and Aliinui Drive, from 7 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. on Sunday, April 12 through Thursday, April 16 for construction safety improvements. Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Vineyard Boulevard (Route 98), between Liliha Street and Aala Street, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 17 for bulky item removal.  

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY/WILIKINA DRIVE (ROUTE 99) — 

1) HALEIWA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction, between Weed Circle and Nui Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for mechanical mowing and grass trimming.  

2) AIEA 

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction, between Kaonohi Street and Salt Lake Boulevard, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for grass trimming and litter removal.  

3) PEARL HARBOR  

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction between Kohomua Street and Center Drive, on Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17 for HART civil work. Closure times vary by direction and are scheduled as follows:  

  • Eastbound closures: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  
  • Westbound closures: 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

4) KALIHI (24/7 CLOSURE) 

The following closures are 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for The Rail. 

  • H-1 eastbound off-ramp to Dillingham Blvd. reduced to one lane.  
  • Middle Street southbound left turn reduced to single turn lane. 
  • Dillingham Boulevard eastbound between Middle Street and Marukai will have a single lane closed. 
  • Dillingham Boulevard westbound between GasPro and Middle Street will have a single lane closed.

— KUNIA ROAD (ROUTE 750) — 

1) SCHOFIELD TO KUNIA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Alternating single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kunia Road (Route 750) between Lyman Road and Kunia Reservoir, from 3 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 for tree trimming and Bomford work. 

2) KUNIA 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Schofield-bound Kunia Road (Route 750) between the H-1 Freeway overpass and Plantation Road, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 for sign work.  

 

— FORT BARRETTE ROAD (ROUTE 901) — 

1) KAPOLEI 

Single lane closure on Fort Barrette Road (Route 901) one in either direction, between Farrington Highway and Kamaaha Avenue, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for underground utility installations. One lane in each direction to be maintained at all times.  

2) KAPOLEI (NIGHT WORK) 

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Fort Barrette Road (Route 901) possible in either direction, at the intersection of Enterprise Avenue and Franklin D. Roosevelt Avenue, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Thursday, April 16 for electrical work. 

3) KAPOLEI  

Single lane closure on Fort Barrette Road (Route 901) possible in either direction, at the intersection of Enterprise Avenue and Franklin D. Roosevelt Avenue, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 for trench restoration. 

 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 930) — 

1) WAIALUA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Full closures of Farrington Highway (Route 930) in either direction, between Thompson Corner and Otake Store, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 12 for road restoration.
