— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) AIEA TO PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)

Three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Aiea Heights Drive Overpass and the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) on Monday night, July 27, through Friday morning, July 31, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly, for pavement striping work.

2) HALAWA TO PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the H-201 Freeway/Pearl City On-Ramp and the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) on Sunday night July 26, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for road striping work.

 

3) HONOLULU

Right lane closure of the Pali Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 21A) from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for tree trimming.

 

4) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, July 26, through Friday morning, July 31, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

The number of lanes closed will vary depending on the location of the roadwork.

5) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for deck widening.

6) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU (NIGHT WORK)

Two to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday night, July 27, through Friday morning, July 31, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for zipper barrier installations.

7) PEARL HARBOR

Right lane closure of the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A) of the H-1 Freeway to Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for The Rail Project.

8) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NIGHT WORK)

Partial closures of the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) from the H-1 Freeway eastbound on Tuesday night, July 28, through Friday morning, July 31, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for deck sealing. All ramps will remain open.

Motorists are advised to pay attention to all traffic control signs, allow for extra travel time and slow down in the work zone area.

 

9) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) from 9 p.m. on Friday, July 24, through 12:01 a.m. Monday morning, July 27. During this time, a shoulder lane will be open for use and all ramps will remain open.

Speed limits will be reduced to 15 mph in order to minimize traffic induced vibrations that may lead to cracking in the newly repaired deck. Airport Viaduct improvements include concrete deck replacements, expansion joint repairs, and pavement restriping. Work is located between the Pearl Harbor Interchange and the Keehi Interchange.

 

10) VILLAGE PARK (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on the Ewa Off-Ramp (Exit 5A) of the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Saturday, July 25, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for electrical work.

 

11) WAIPAHU TO KAPOLEI

Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Kunia Off-Ramp (Exit 5B) and the Kapolei/Ewa Off-Ramp (Exit 3) on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

— H-3 FREEWAY —

1) KANEOHE

Lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in both directions between the Mokapu Saddle Road Underpass and the Kamehameha Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 11) on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily, for median maintenance.

 

 — FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —      

1) HONOKAI HALE

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between the H-1 Freeway and Waiomea Street on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for tree trimming.

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the northbound direction between Ala Akau Street and Makaha Valley Road on Wednesday, July 29, through Thursday, July 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for utility installations.

 

3) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure of the Farrington Highway eastbound on-ramp to the H-2 Freeway in the northbound direction on Sunday night, July 26, through Friday morning, July 31, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

1) HAWAII KAI

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between West Hind Drive and Keahole Street on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement striping installations part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project.

 

2) HAWAII KAI

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Keahole Street and Lunalilo Home Road on Tuesday, July 28, through Wednesday, July 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for surveying work.

 

3) HAWAII KAI

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Kealahou Street and the Hawaii Kai Golf Course on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily, for manhole work and utility installations.

 

4) WAIMANALO

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Keolu Drive and Aloiloi Street on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility maintenance.

 

5) WAIMANALO

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Kumuhau Street and Makai Pier on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree trimming.

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) KAAAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24/7 lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Keo Place and Trout Farm Road for emergency shoreline improvements. Traffic will be contraflowed in the remaining open lane. Motorists are advised to expect delays.

 

2) KAHALUU

Alternating right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kahekili Highway and Waiahole Valley Road on Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

 

3) MILILANI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full road closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Waipio Uka Street and Lanikuhana Avenue on Sunday night, July 26, through Friday morning, July 31, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly, for resurfacing, road striping, and drainage and guardrail work.

General traffic will be re-routed to H-2 freeway but local traffic access for Kipapa Gulch residents has been coordinated to be escorted through the project site as needed. Advisory message boards have been placed near Ka Uka Boulevard and Lanikuhana Avenue with the work schedule.

 

4) MILILANI

Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Lanikuhana Avenue and Waihau Street on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for re-grassing and guardrail installations. One lane in both directions will be open for motorists at all times.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 freeway.

 

5) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Honolulu Rail Transit will be working on Kamehameha Highway this week at various locations.

  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Waiawa Road and Acacia Road.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Acacia Road and Waimano Home Road.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Lipoa Place and Pali Momi Street.
  • Lane closures in the westbound direction between Pali Momi Street and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday.
  • Lane closures in both directions between Puu Poni Street and Kaonohi Street, Monday through Friday.
  • Lane closures in both directions between Salt Lake Boulevard and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday.

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Puula Road and Kumupali Road on Thursday, July 30, through Friday, July 31, daily, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road repairs.

Right lane closure on Likelike Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the H-3 Freeway Overpass and the Wilson Tunnels on Saturday, July 25, from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for tree trimming.

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating single lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the both directions between Kalihi Street and Alakawa Street on Sunday night, July 26, through Friday morning, July 31, from 8:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. for sewer rehabilitation.

 

2) PEARL HARBOR

Right lane closure on Nimitz Highway at the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp to Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the rail project.

Right lane closed on Ala Moana Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Kahanamoku Street and Kalakaua Avenue on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for sewage maintenance.

Roving single lane closures on Vineyard Boulevard in both directions between Palama Street and the eastbound H-1 Freeway On-Ramp on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road repairs and landscape maintenance.

Lane closure on Liliha Street in the northbound direction between King Street and Vineyard Boulevard on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for sidewalk repairs.

 

2) HONOLULU

Right lane closure on Liliha Street in the southbound direction between School Street and North King Street on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pole maintenance.

 

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Middle Street in the southbound direction between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, July 24, through Saturday morning, July 25, and Monday night, July 27, through Saturday morning, August 1, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project.

There will also be a 24/7 southbound lane closure and sidewalk closure on the west side of Middle Street. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.

Lane closure on Kunia Road in both directions between Hauula Street and Plantation Road on Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for storm drain cleaning.
