Highways Division, Oahu District Storm Water Management Program Plan Available For Public Comment
Posted on Feb 26, 2015 in Highways Posts, NewsHONOLULU – The public is provided notice regarding the availability of the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation, Highways Division, Oahu District’s (DOT-HWYS) Storm Water Management Program Plan. On February 26, 2015, the plan will be available for public review online at www.stormwaterhawaii.com, and a hard copy will be available for public viewing at the Oahu District Office at 727 Kakoi Street in Honolulu. The public has the ability to review the plan and submit comments until Sunday, March 29, 2015. Please submit all comments as a word document attachment on our comment form (www.stormwaterhawaii.com/contact) or email to [email protected]. All comments received on time will be considered. A public informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Radford High School’s cafeteria from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm to address questions and discuss the content of the plan.
The Storm Water Management Program Plan is a requirement of the DOT-HWYS’ National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit HI S000001, and outlines the steps that DOT-HWYS will enact to reduce the discharge of storm water pollutants into state receiving waters.
