PLEASE NOTE:

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, on Monday, Jan. 20, there will be no Kuhio Highway contraflow or lane closures unless otherwise permitted. — KAUMUALII HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

1) PUHI TO KIPU (NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 1.9 and 4 in the vicinity of Anonui Street and Puuana Road on Wednesday, Jan. 22 through Friday, Jan. 24, from 1 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. for grass cutting.

2) ELEELE TO HANAPEPE (NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Halewili Road and Hanapepe Road, on Tuesday, Jan. 21 through Friday, Jan. 24, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for sewer line trench paving.

3) HANAPEPE TO WAIMEA

Roving shoulder closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Lele Road and Alawai Road, on Tuesday, Jan. 21, through Friday, Jan. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for installation of raised pavement markings.

4) KEKAHA (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction between mile post 24.37 to 24.46, in the vicinity of Kikiaola Boat Harbor, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for replacement of culverts. — KUHIO HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

1) LIHUE TO KAPAIA (NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) in the northbound direction, between mile post 0 to 1, in the vicinity of Rice Street and Laukini Road, on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 2 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. for clearing of the traffic island.

2) LIHUE (NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) in the northbound direction, between mile post 4 to 5.6, in the vicinity of Kauai Beach Road and Wailua State Park Road, on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 2 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. for cutting grass.

3) KAPAA (NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 8.1 to 9.7, in the vicinity of Akia Road and Mailihuna Road, nightly on Monday, Jan. 20 with the last closure of the week ending Friday morning, Jan. 24, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for resurfacing, concrete and electrical work.

4) KAPAA TO KEALIA

Lane shift on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 9 to 10, in the vicinity of Kawaihau Road and Mailihuna Road, on Tuesday, Jan. 21 and Wednesday, Jan. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail repairs.

5) ANAHOLA TO MOLOAA

Right lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 14 to 16 in the vicinity of Aliomanu Road, on Tuesday, Jan. 21 through Friday, Jan. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

6) KALIHIWAI TO PRINCEVILLE (NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 24.4 to 25.6, in the vicinity of Kahiliholo Road and Anini Vista Drive near the Princeville Airport on Monday, Jan. 20 through Friday, Jan. 24 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for cold planning and repaving.

7) WAIKOKO (WEEKEND WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction, between mile post 4.3 to 4.5, in the vicinity of Waikoko, on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for clearing and grubbing of the mauka shoulder.

8) WAIKOKO (WEEKEND AND WEEKDAY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction, between mile post 4.3 to 4.5, in the vicinity of Waikoko, on Saturday, Jan. 18 and Tuesday, Jan. 21 through Friday, Jan. 24 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for clearing and grubbing of the mauka shoulder.

9) WAIKOKO

Full closure of Kuhio Highway (Route 560), between mile post 5.5 to 5.8, in the vicinity of Lumahai Bridge, on Friday, Jan. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree trimming and branch removal. — HALEWILI ROAD (ROUTE 540) —

1) KALAHEO

Single lane closure on Halewili Road (Route 540) possible in either direction, between mile post 0 to 1.5, on Tuesday, Jan. 21 through  Friday, Jan. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for striping and marker installation.

2) ELEELE

Lane shift on Halewili Road (Route 540) possible in either direction, between mile post 2 to 3, on Thursday, Jan. 23 and Friday, Jan. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail repairs.

— WAIMEA CANYON DRIVE (ROUTE 550) —

1) KOKEE (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Waimea Canyon Drive (Route 550) possible in either direction, between mile post 5 to 6, on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for grass cutting and guardrail clearing.

2) KOKEE 

Single lane closure on Waimea Canyon Drive (Route 550) possible in either direction, between mile post 11.5 to 14, on Tuesday, Jan. 21 through Friday, Jan. 24, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for shoulder stabilization, guardrail, and striping. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

— KUAMOO ROAD (ROUTE 580) —

1) WAILUA HOMESTEADS (WEEKEND AND WEEKDAY WORK)

Roving lane closure on Kuamoo Road (Route 580) possible in either direction, between mile post 1.7  to 4, in the vicinity of Kahawai Place and Waikolia Street, on Monday, Jan. 20 through Friday, Jan. 24, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for survey work.

2) WAILUA HOMESTEADS

Right lane closure on Kuamoo Road (Route 580) in the norhtbound direction, between mile post 3 to 4.5, in the vicinity of Pokukala Street and Aina Pono Street, on Tuesday, Jan. 21 through Friday, Jan. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

— MAALO ROAD (ROUTE 583) —

1) KAPAIA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Maalo Road (Route 583) possible in either direction, between mile post 2 to 3.1, on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

— KAPAA TEMPORARY BYPASS ROAD (ROUTE 5600) —

1) KAPAA
