— H-1 FREEWAY — 

1) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)                

Four lanes closed on the left-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kamehameha Highway overpass and the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10) for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Deck Repairs. Closure hours vary by day of the week and are: 

  • 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, through 6 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 
  • 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 through 8 a.m. Sunday, March 1 

2) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK)                

Four lanes closed on the left-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kamehameha Highway overpass and the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10), from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, March 3 and Wednesday, March 4 for work on the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. 

3) PEARL CITY 

Right shoulder closure on the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B) from the westbound H-1    Freeway, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2, through Friday, March 6, for slope improvements.   

4) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Three lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Hugh Street underpass and the Kaonohi Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Thursday, March 5 for work on the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.  

5) AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Three lanes closed on the right-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, between the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10) and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Monday, March 2 for work on the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.  

6) STADIUM TO AIRPORT VIADUCT (WEEKEND WORK) 

Closure of two lanes on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Aiea/Honolulu off-ramp (Exit 13A) and the Nimitz Highway/Airport off-ramp (Exit 15),  from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, March 1 for guardrail work as part of the H-1 Salt Lake Rehabilitation project.  

7) AIRPORT VIADUCT TO HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)  

Two lanes closed on the right-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, between Nimitz Highway off-ramp (Exit 15) and the Moanalua Freeway on-ramp, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Friday, Feb. 27 for routine bridge inspections at various locations throughout the work area. 

8) AIRPORT VIADUCT TO KAHALA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, between Puuloa Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 2, through Thursday, March 5, to address pothole, litter, and sign requests.  

9) AIRPORT VIADUCT (NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure along the eastbound H-1 Freeway at the Keehi Interchange along all eastbound ramps, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Monday, March 2 for various routine bridge inspections throughout the interchange. Closure will be of one ramp at a time throughout the evening.  

10) AIRPORT VIADUCT (NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure along the left-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway at the Keehi Interchange along all westbound ramps, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, March 3 for various routine bridge inspections throughout the interchange. Closure will be of one ramp at a time throughout the evening. 

11) HONOLULU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, between the Ola Lane overpass and Richard Lane, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1widening.com/.  

12) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway in the vicinity of the Ola Lane overpass and the Likelike Highway off-ramp (Exit 20A) from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following day on Tuesday, March 3, for work as part of the H-1 Freeway widening. 13) HONOLULU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway, in the westbound direction, between the Likelike Highway on-ramp and the Gulick Avenue overpass, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1widening.com/.  

14) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes and shoulder closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Halona Street underpass, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, March 3 for installation of upgraded destination signs above the Vineyard Boulevard off-ramp (Exit 20B). The off-ramp will be closed during this work. Details:  

15) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK) 

Singe lane and shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Halona Street underpass, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Wednesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 5 for demolition of old signposts and installation of traffic-monitoring camera along the Vineyard Boulevard off-ramp (Exit 20B). — H-2 FREEWAY — 

1) WAIPAHU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the Honolulu-bound H-2 Freeway, between the Ka Uka Boulevard on-ramp and the Waipio Self Storage, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for construction of access road.   

 

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY — 

1) HALAWA TO HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Three lanes closed on the left-hand side of the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway between the Halawa Interchange and Richard Lane, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day on Sunday, March 1 and Monday, March 2, for repaving as part of the H-201 Moanalua Freeway Repaving. 2) HALAWA TO HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK) 

Three lanes closed on the right-hand side of the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway between the Halawa Interchange and Richard Lane, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day on Tuesday, March 3 through Thursday, March 5, for repaving as part of the H-201 Moanalua Freeway Repaving. 3) MOANALUA  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of eastbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between the Tripler/Airport off-ramp (Exit 3) and the Puuloa Road overpass, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 through Thursday, March 5 for fence work along Mahiole Street.  

4) FORT SHAFTER (NIGHT WORK) 

Full closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway off-ramp to the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, in the vicinity of the Honolulu/ King Steet off-ramp, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, March 3 for work as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. 5) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the left-hand side of westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between the Middle Street overpass and the Ola Lane overpass, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Friday, Feb. 27 and Saturday, Feb. 28 for median barrier repairs along the freeway.  

6) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of eastbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between the Middle Street overpass and the Ola Lane overpass, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Friday, Feb. 27 and Saturday, Feb. 28 for median barrier repairs along the freeway. 

 

— H-3 FREEWAY — 

1) KANEOHE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of the Kaneohe-bound H-3 Freeway between the Kaneohe-end of the Harano Tunnels and the Hospital Rock Tunnels, from 2 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 28 for repairing steel plate welds.  

 

— PALI HIGHWAY/ KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY/ KAILUA ROAD (ROUTE 61) — 

1) NUUANU 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kailua-bound Pali Highway (Route 61), between School Street and Waokanaka Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for grass trimming and litter removal.    

2) NUUANU  

Single lane closure of the center lane on Pali Highway (Route 61) possible in either direction, between School Street and Pauoa Road, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Monday, March 2 through Thursday, March 5 for tree trimming and shoulder scraping. (i.e. removal of moss) 

3) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61), possible in either direction, between Ulumanu Drive and Uluhala Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for traffic signals project. Potential closures of a single lane in both directions (for a total of two lanes) may be necessary. 

 

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY/ KALIHI STREET (ROUTE 63) — 

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND WORK) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound Kalihi Street (Route 63) between Hau Street and Kaumualii Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 for HART civil work approaching the Dillingham Boulevard intersection. One lane to remain open at all times.

2) KALIHI

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of Kaneohe-bound Likelike Highway (Route 63) through the Wilson Tunnels, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2 for routine tunnel inspections.  

4) KANEOHE  

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of Honolulu-bound Likelike Highway (Route 63) between the Wilson Tunnels and the H-3 Freeway overpass, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 and Wednesday, March 4 for routine tunnel inspections.  

5) KANEOHE  

Shoulder closures on the left- and right-hand side of Likelike Highway (Route 63) possible in either direction, between the Kaneohe-end of the Wilson Tunnels and the H-3 Freeway overpass, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for grass trimming and litter removal. One side to be closed at a time. 

 

— KANEOHE BAY DRIVE (ROUTE 65) —  

1) KANEOHE 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of eastbound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65) between Aumoku Street and Nohonani Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for erosion control work.  

2) KANEOHE (NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the left-hand side of northbound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65) between Kahinani Place and Mokapu Boulevard, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Wednesday, March 4 for installation of new traffic light pole.  

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 72) — 

1) KAILUA TO WAIMANALO (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) between Castle Junction and Castle Medical Center, from 3 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 28 for grass trimming and mechanical mowing.  

2) WAIMANALO (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, at the intersection of Kumuhau Street, from 4 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 28 for sidewalk work.  

3) HAWAII KAI TO KAHALA 

Single lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) possible in either direction, in the vicinity Lunalilo Home Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Thursday, March 5 for sign maintenance. Closure may be of the left or right lane; one lane to be closed at a time. 

 

— FORT WEAVER ROAD (ROUTE 76) — 

1) EWA BEACH  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Fort Weaver Road (Route 76), between the H-1 Freeway overpass and Aawa Drive, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Thursday, March 5 for mechanical mowing, grass trimming and litter removal. 

 

— MOANALUA ROAD (ROUTE 78) — 

1) AIEA   

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Moanalua Road (Route 78), at the intersection of Pono Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Wednesday, March 4 for moving of office container. 

 

— JOSEPH P. LEONG/ KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) HALEIWA TO KAHALUU  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between Weed Circle and Waihee Road, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for tree trimming, pothole filling and sign maintenance.  

2) HALEIWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Roving single lane closure on Jospeh P. Leong/ Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, between Opaeula Stream Bridge and Kapuhi Street, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Sunday, March 1 through Thursday, March 5, for repaving work toward Kahuku. One direction will be closed at a time.

3) HALEIWA  

Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of northbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Waimea Bay beach park and Waimea Valley Road, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for fire hydrant installations.  

4) HALEIWA TO HAUULA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between Oopuola Street and Aakahi Gulch Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for tree trimming.  

5) KAHUKU 

Alternating single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between Kahuku District Park and Burroughs Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for construction of headwalls and culverts.  

6) LAIE  

Alternating single lane closure on the right-hand side of northbound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between the Cackle Fresh Egg Farm and Hukilau Beach Park, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for replacement of pedestrian bridge at Kahawanui bridge.  

7) LAIE   

Lane shift on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between Wahinepee Street and Anemoku Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for site preparation for demolition of Laieloa Stream Bridge. Project website: https://laieloabridge.com/

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Haleiwa-bound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) between Kualoa Regional Park and Johnson Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 through Thursday, March 5 for tree trimming and landscaping.  

 

— KAHEKILI HIGHWAY/KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 83) — 

1) KAHALUU TO KAILUA 

Roving shoulder closure on Kahekili Highway/Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between the Hygienic Store and Castle Junction, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for grass and tree trimming, graffiti removal, and sign maintenance. 

2) KANEOHE TO KAILUA  

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, between Kionaole Road and Castle Junction, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 and Wednesday, March 4 for tree trimming and landscaping work.  

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY/ALA MOANA BOULEVARD (ROUTE 92) —

1) PEARL HARBOR/HICKAM (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) possible in either direction, at the intersection of Center Drive and South Avenue, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Friday, Feb. 27 for striping work. Closure may be of the left or right lanes; one side and direction to be closed at a time. 

2) AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL (NIGHT WORK) 

Full ramp closures on eastbound Nimitz Highway (Route 92) at the Keehi Interchange, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Monday, March 2 and Wednesday, March 4 for routine bridge inspections of all Keehi Interchange ramps. Ramps will be closed one at a time, as inspection moves throughout the interchange.  

3) HONOLULU (24/7 CLOSURE) 

Closures on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Awa Street and Richards Street on Sunday, March 1, through Friday, March 6, over a 24-hour period, for HART work includes: 

  • Awa Street closed 24/7 from Nimitz Highway, in either direction through November 2026. 
  • 24-hour closures of inside lanes in either direction on Nimitz Highway for installation of K-Rails, through 2030.  
  • Nimitz Highway eastbound and westbound between Awa Street and Richards Street will have a single lane closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6, in addition to the 24-hour lane closures. 
  • Left turn restriction on eastbound Nimitz Highway at Halekauwila Street, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday for pothole patching. 
  • 24-hour crosswalk closure and detour at Nuuanu Avenue and Nimitz Highway.  
  • Nuuanu Avenue crosswalk from Nimitz Highway closed and detoured beginning Friday, Feb. 6, through March 2026. 
  • Up to two lanes closed on east and westbound Nimitz Highway between Awa Street and Richards Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday through Friday to support drilling work. 
  • Left turn restriction from east and westbound Nimitz Highway at intersections of Bethel Street and Nuuanu Avenue from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3 and Wednesday, March 4 to accommodate concrete pour. A single lane in each direction will be maintained on Nimitz Highway at all times.

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK) 

Full closure of Ala Moana Boulevard (Route 92) in both directions, between Cooke Street and Ala Moana Beach Park, from 6:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 1 for the King’s Runner 10K event. — FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 93) — 

1) MAKUA TO KAPOLEI  

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Farrington Highway (Route 93) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Makua Beach and the Kalaeloa Interchange, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Thursday, March 5 for various maintenance activities to address complaints   

2) MAILI  

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Farrington Highway (Route 93) between Kaukama Road and the Board of Water Supply, Waianae yard, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2 for lighting repairs. 

3) NANAKULI  

Alternating single lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) possible in either direction, between Ulehawa Beach Park and Hakimo Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6 for boring marking work. Closure may be of the left westbound lane, or the right eastbound lane; one direction/side to be closed at a time.  

4) KO OLINA TO HONOKAI HALE  

Median closure on the left-hand side of eastbound Farrington Highway (Route 93) between Aliinui Drive and Waiomea Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for trench work along the median.  

 

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD (ROUTE 98) — 

1) HONOLULU 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of westbound Vineyard Boulevard (Route 98), between Liliha Street and Aala Street, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, March 6 for bulky item removal.  

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY/WILIKINA DRIVE (ROUTE 99) — 

1) HALEIWA 

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction, between Weed Circle and Nui Avenue, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Thursday, March 5 for mechanical mowing.  

2) PEARL HARBOR  

Single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) possible in either direction between Kohomua Street and Center Drive, on Monday, March 2, through Friday, March 6 for HART civil work. Closure times vary by direction and are scheduled as follows:  

  • Eastbound closures: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  
  • Westbound closures: 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

3) KALIHI (24/7 CLOSURE) 

The following closures are 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for The Rail. 

  • H-1 eastbound off-ramp to Dillingham Blvd. reduced to one lane.  
  • Middle Street southbound left turn reduced to single turn lane. 
  • Dillingham Boulevard eastbound between Middle Street and Marukai will have a single lane closed. 
  • Dillingham Boulevard westbound between GasPro and Middle Street will have a single lane closed.

— KUNIA ROAD (ROUTE 750) — 

1) SCHOFIELD TO KUNIA  

Roving single lane closure on the right-hand side of Kunia Road (Route 750) between Lyman Road and Kunia Reservoir, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for grass trimming work.  

 

— FORT BARRETTE ROAD (ROUTE 901) — 

1) KAPOLEI  

Single lane closure on Fort Barrette Road (Route 901) possible in either direction, at the intersection of Kapolei Parkway, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for excavation of drill shafts. One lane of traffic to be maintained in each direction at all times. One direction to be closed at a time.  

2) KAPOLEI (NIGHT WORK)

Roving shoulder closure on the right-hand side of Halawa Heights Road (Route 7241) possible in either diection, between Ulune Street and Puumakani Street, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for grass trimming and litter removal.  

 

— MIDDLE STREET (ROUTE 7415) — 

1) KALIHI (NIGHT WORK)  

Two lane closure on the right-hand side of northbound Middle Street (Route 7415) between Kamehameha Highway and King Street, from 7:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Monday, March 2 through Thursday, March 5 for plate scale maintenance.   

2) KALIHI (NIGHT WORK) 

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of southbound Middle Street (Route 7415) at the intersection of North King Street, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Monday, March 2 for installation of back plates on traffic lights.

Single lane closure and lane shift on westbound Aolele Street, fronting cargo companies, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6 for paving as part of HART civil work.
