— H-1 FREEWAY —
1) KAPOLEI
Shoulder closure on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of Honouliuli Stream Bridge, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15 through Friday, Dec. 19 for sign work along the hill adjacent to the freeway.
2) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (WEEKEND/ NIGHT WORK)
Two to three lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Military Access Road underpass to the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10), for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Deck Repairs. Closure hours vary by day of the week and are:
- 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, through 6 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13
- 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 through 8 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 14
Note: The closure will start with three lanes closed at 7 p.m. and increase to four lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure.
3) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK)
Two to three lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Naval Access Road underpass to the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10), from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 18 for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Deck Repairs.
Note: The closure will start with two lanes closed at 7 p.m. and increase to three lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure.
4) PEARL CITY
Right shoulder closure on the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B) from the westbound H-1 Freeway, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, through Friday, Dec. 19, for slope improvements.
5) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK)
Four lanes closed on the left-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Waiawa Road overpass and the Kaonohi Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 16 through Wednesday, Dec. 17 for work as part of the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.
6) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK)
Two to three lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Hugh Street underpass and the Kaonohi Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Monday, Dec. 15 for work as part of the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs.
Note: The closure will start with two lanes closed from 7p.m. and increase to three lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure.
7) PEARL HARBOR (NIGHT WORK)
Roving closure of two lanes on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Kahuapaani Street underpass and Makalapa Drive, on the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. for roving core sampling work.
8) AIRPORT VIADUCT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Closure of three right lanes of the westbound H-1 Freeway/Airport Viaduct from the Nimitz on-ramp to the Airport off-ramp from 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, through 4 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, for the Airport Viaduct Repairs. The following ramps will be closed during this work:
- H-1 Middle Street on-ramp to the westbound H-1 Airport Viaduct
- Kamehameha Highway on-ramp to the westbound H-1 Airport Viaduct
Motorists may use Nimitz Highway as a detour to the Airport.
9) AIRPORT VIADUCT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Full closure of the Airport off-ramp (Exit 16) and a single right lane on the westbound H-1 Freeway, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly on the evening of Friday, Dec. 12 and Saturday, Dec. 13 for the Airport Viadcut Repairs.
Motorists may use Nimitz Highway as a detour to the Airport.
10) AIRPORT VIADUCT TO KAHALA
Roving right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway possible in either direction, between Puuloa Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, through Thursday, Dec. 18, to address pothole, litter, and sign requests.
11) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/ NIGHT WORK)
Single lane closure on the left-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Middle Street overpass and Aala Street, from 3 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 13 for grass and tree trimming, and shoulder scraping work. (i.e. removal of moss.)
12) HONOLULU (24-HOUR CLOSURE)
Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, in the vicinity of the Ola Lane overpass and Richard Lane, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1awidening.com/.

Single lane closure on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of Halona Street and Liliha Street, from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 13 for electrical pole work along the freeway.
16) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)
Single lane closure on westbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of Halona Street and the Pali Highway off-ramp, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Monday, Dec. 15 through Wednesday, Dec. 17 for guardrail repairs due to recent motor vehicle collision. Closure may be of the left or right lane; one lane closed at a time.

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway, possible in either direction, in the vicinity of the 10th Avenue underpass and the 11th Avenue on-ramp, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15 and Tuesday, Dec. 16 for lighting repairs.
